Part 60Sam's pov.."Veer?" I called out, and my head rested on his shoulder while he was busy watching fucking Shinchan on the TV."Say I am listening." I pouted when he didn't give me his full attention.This man and his love for cartoons, ughhh. I mean, I fucking deserve his attention, after all, I was more beautiful and hot than the cartoon going on TV."Veerrrrr!" I yelled, shaking his shoulder. "Yes Samairaaaaaaaaa" He mimicked the same way I did and turned towards me."It's Saturday I want to go to the birthday party of my new friend in the club," I said, and he raised his right eyebrow while staring at me."So?" And that's what he uttered."So I am asking you, na," I whined, causing him to sigh. "The Hell women go anywhere you want, why are you asking my permission?" He let out, and I made a bad face before taking a seat on his lap."Seriously?""Of course, Samaira, you can go anywhere you want. Why are you asking about my permission?" He tucked the hair strands behind my ear before stroking my cheeks."I am not that typical husband who will forbid his women to go somewhere alone; it's your life chota packet, you can go anywhere you want." My man was the epitome of perfection, and my love and respect for him increase every time."Just keep your phone with yourself, drink as much as you want, but yeah, leave me a message. I'll go pick you up from the club because drinking and driving isn't good." He explained everything."Okayy Daddy," I pecked his lips, making him groan. "Shitt this is so cringe, Samaira," I laughed at his expressions just then the doorbell rang.Who would be there? "I'll check" I got up and went to open the door only to find my cousin Palash."Hey shorty," he said, inviting himself in. "Hey bitch," I let him in before closing the door."Palash, how are you, man?" Veer got up and gave him a hug. "I am fine, Veer, and I hope you are fine as well because staying with Samaira is no less than a nightmare." My jaw hit the ground at Palash's words."Such a bitch you are Palash," I kicked him on his leg."Same to you, Sam." He stuck his tongue out, making me roll my eyes."Now tell me what you are doing here unannounced." I asked, glaring at him."I need to have a word with you and Veer," and suddenly he sounded serious."What is happening?" I asked taking a seat on the bean bag."There is someone who knows it was Veer's voice behind the song," my eyes widened at Palash's words. "What The Fuck?" Veer reacted by being flabbergasted."I don't know how but there is an another music label who wants to hire Veer and they are ready to pay thrice of what I am paying Veer" Palash calmly said.."And they will keep your identity hidden as well.""Palash, you know I was doing this just because of Samaira's request, and to be honest, I don't want to work for any other music label." I frowned at Veer's words.Damn, it was such a good opportunity for him, and here he was denying it."It's J.V. Music," my jaw hit the ground. J.V. was such a big music company, and they were dominating the whole industry."Veer, this is such a big opportunity for you, and this will give you more exposure," I said out loud only to hear a sigh from him."Why do they want me to sing for them?" "I am just a newbie in this field," he reasoned."It's because you have such a soulful voice and your identity is hidden, so surely they'll get more revenue from the song, and also because you have the power to connect with the listener with your voice," Palash explained, which made me nod. He was right, and this was such a golden chance for Veer."Veer, I am agreeing with Palash; you need to give it a chance, please." Palash had promised Veer that he would keep his identity hidden, but he failed.Palash respected Veer so much and loved Samaira after all, she was his younger cousin, but this time he was forced, but then there was another thought inside him that Veer would be getting more exposure because that company was more famous.But another thought confused him! She asked after getting ready in a black sleeveless dress that reached her mid-thigh.Veer scanned her from head to toe, her curled hair falling on her shoulder, the dress tightening to hug each and every curve of hers, the subtle makeup settling on her face, and damn, she looked so hot from Veer's eyes.And he so wanted to take that dress off, or maybe rip it off, and slam her against the wall."Hot and fuckable," he answered, taking steps towards here; she giggled, showing her palm; "No, Veer, stop right there; we won't be doing anything; I don't want to get late for the party." He slumped down on the bed, making Samaira giggle as she wore the black leather jacket and sprayed the perfume."Although I have the numbers of Puja and Shraddha, and I will call them if you get late." He reminded her that when she wore her heels, he knelt down to help her with the straps, which made her heart warm.Veer is the best husband."Sure, and one more thing, you don't need to get jealous, we'd all be the only girls there." She said she was wrapping her arms around him when he stood up after making her wear her stilettos properly."I won't be getting jealous anyway; I trust you, and I know you are only mine." She smiled, giving him a tight peck on the lips.Her phone beeped with a message."Alright, Mr. Husband. I'll be back soon. Sharddha is waiting for me in her car. " She opened the main door only to find Cabir standing there, and he was about to ring the doorbell."Hello, Samir," Samaira gave him a hug while Veer raised his right eyebrow."Okay, so I called Samir so that he could give you some company." Samaira answered her husband's unasked question."Why did you call him Samaira?" He is such a pain in my ass." Veer groaned out loud only to receive an evil grin from Samir."Sam, enjoy with your friends; I'll handle your husband," Samir said, making Samaira giggle. ______________Sam's pov..It was Shraddha's birthday, and she was such a sweetheart that she came to pick me up, "Sam, my sexy babe." I chuckled before giving her a tight hug.In a short span of time, I formed such a good bond with Puja and Shraddha in my fashion institute. She hopped in the driving seat while I took a backseat before puja, and she immediately hugged me. I rolled my eyes seeing the bitch sitting on the passenger seat, Jasmine the bitch.Puja was older than us; she was 35 and the mother of two, and damn, she inspired me way too much. She got married after completing her graduation, and she wanted to pursue fashion design but didn't get time because of family and kids, but now her husband was supporting her and encouraging her to follow her dreams...On the other hand, Shraddha was younger than me, and she was turning 19 in an hour. She was the excited kid and girl full of life.And then came Jasmine; damn, I couldn't stand her; she was the worst of all; my dislike for her increased tenfold whenever I saw her; she was like in her mid-twenties; ugh, she was a witch."We'll be getting drunk and wasted tonight, whoohoo!" Shraddha yelled out as soon as we stepped out of the car; there were her other friends waiting for us. I quickly dropped a message to Veer, telling her that I had reached safely.We all walked in after getting the bands and showing our IDs."Come on guys, let's do it!" Shrads dragged us to the dance floor, the music was bursting and hitting our eardrums, and I felt my hips swaying. It's been so long since I went clubbing, and I never knew I was missing it."Who said girls need boys? I mean, we are enough for each other." She wasn't even drunk, but she had already started. I laughed as we danced; Shraddha's other friends were nice as well, and I gelled with everyone.Jasmine was the exception.The dj announced Shraddha's birthday, and she finally cut the cake, fed us, and then opened the lid of champagne, saying, "Let's raise a toast for Shraddha's fucking last teen birthday.""Wohoooo!" I cheered for her; she poured it on our glass."We are here to enjoy, okay?" "And we all will go chug the shots down, so here we go." She passed the lemon and shot glasses.Drinking was a bad idea now; I didn't want to get drunk, and Veer wasn't here with me to handle it. I see all of them chugging down their vodka shots."Samaira What is this? "Don't say that you won't be getting drunk tonight. Come on, it's my birthday, and you have to," she whined."Shar---""No, you have to, Sam," she forced me to drink it, and yeah, I did instead of jerking it.And I wasn't even guilty. Let's just do it, okay? I was capable of handling myself, and I wouldn't be getting drunk.And then"Another one," we all did, and then again and again. I lost the count anyway.I thought I wouldn't, but yeah, I'll surely be getting drunk and wasted by the end of the party. Fuck Samaira anyways."Enjoying the party?" I turned, and my face scrunched at seeing the owner of the voice. "Is that even a question to ask?" I leaned toward her, blinking my eyes."But yeah, if you aren't enjoying yourself, then you can surely leave; no one is enjoying your company." I rolled my eyes and said in a loud voice due to the loud banging of the music."Oh Samaira "Why are you so full of yourself?" She asked, which made me laugh."Oh, it's called self-love, darling." saying I joined others, not wanting to continue the conversation with hers.Suddenly I felt the urge to go to the washroom; damn, I need to pee. "Need to use the washroom, I'll be back in a few minutes." I informed Puja before making my way to the washroom.Once I was done, I fixed my makeup, and just then the lights in the bathroom went off! What the hell? I opened the door to leave, but I was slammed against the wall by someone and heard the door closing behind me.My eyes widened in fear, and my heartbeat quickened as sweat droplets started forming on my forehead.What the hell?
