Chapter 64
When the got to the vet, she gave the puppy to the doctor and he was treated and bathed.
The puppy was so beautiful. It had that white clean fur that you would love to rub on.
"Awwn, look how beautiful you are and yet some man was telling me not to save you." She mumbled louder.
"You know you're stealing right?" He asked for her scoff.
"He was wounded on the streets, no one was tending to him and you expected me to leave him there to die. Look how cute it is." She said and as if the puppy had heard her, he rubbed his fur on her face and made little sounds.
"Awwn, thank you and do not worry about this bad man....cause you'll be mine from now one." She said, rubbing his fur again.
"Should I get on your car or just leave with a cab?" She turned to ask him and he chuckled.
"You're really doing this one purpose."
"We'll be ten minutes late if we don't go now." She replied and he nodded.
He opened the car and got in and so did she.
When they both settled down, she was still rubbing it's fur while he was just glaring at the small puppy as if he would squish his head out of his body in no time.
Few minutes later and they were already there. They both step down from the car and thankfully there wasn't much paparazzi's.
Dropping the puppy with the driver, she gave him a cold look.
"Please and please, don't you dare throw this sweetie away because your Boss said so...or else you'll be looking for it through out the whole day." She said, and smiled at the last part before turning to the Mason that he his hand stretched out for her to take it.
"How long are we staying?" She asked.
"You do not ask questions Sandra Crook, you get in when I say so and get off when I say so as well. You're getting paid for it, it is not for Charity." He hissed and she nodded with an eye roll.
So pathetic.
"Ha! Mr Scott and Miss...." The woman trailed off.
"Miss Kassandra." Sandra said with a smile.
"Oh well, Kassandra." The woman nodded, her eyes going down Sandra's body.
"Mr Scott I never for once thought you'd show up here. It's a good thing you found some spare time to come." The woman said, raising her eyes to look at Mason with a smile.
Sandra rolled her eyes.
The woman was such a flirt. As far as she was concern that wasn't a good eyes used to look at people with partners.
"He didn't wanted to come too, his schedule was tight and he was being a jerk all day, but I managed to force him here. It is me you should be thanking." She said, giving the lady a smile.
"Oh..." The woman trialed, staring at Sandra.
Did she just hear her call him a jerk? and that she forced him to come there?
As far as she was concern..no one, no one at all had ever cuss this man In front of him.
Although he was an arrogant jerk just like she had called him but no one dare tell it to his face lest the person wants to die.
She turned to stare at Mason that didn't even care to correct the lady.
"Jerk?" She questioned for Sandra to nod.
"You're the one who delayed us Sandra, going to save a dead puppy.. making us go to the vet and then coming here late. You have the nerve to really lie against me woman." He said and she rolled her eyes.
"You were a jerk for not trying to save the puppy. You think I didn't see you smiling when looking at it after it was bathed. You're not going to have it, dream on." She said, and he scoffed.
The woman in front of them blinked her eyes trying to figure out what was the problem but when she was sure...there was no need to find that out since she was just going to do nothing...she slided pass them and left them to bicker.
"Ha! She's finally gone." Sandra sighed.
"You were pushing her away."
"Yes, cause I've had enough. How pathetic are these women! Pushing their body on you and the worst thing is that you can't even push them away. So pathetic as well." She said to have him snort.
"Are you jealous?" He asked.
"Why would I be jealous? I'd rather leave the puppy on that roadside than be jealous to your fucked up sex life." She hissed and he nodded nonchalantly.
The cool music started and couples began to go to the dance floor for music.
The hall was filled with people, sitting and talking about business while some were just flirting just like the lady from before.
"Can I have this dance?" He asked, and she placed her hand on his with a smile before saying.
"As if I have a choice."
"You're right, you don't. You do everything I ask of you and then you and I Will be good to go." He said.
"The lady from before is coming." Sandra said, glaring at the direction where the woman was coming from.
"She really likes me a lot. Me and her for a history together."
"Oh, you mean a fuck history? Just wow."
"But you me right? I don't dick a cunt twice." He said, and she frowned due to the crude word he used.
"Mr Mason." The voice pulled them to the woman.
"Can I have this dance?"
"Can't you see he's dancing with someone else? You might as well wait for your turn."
"He's been dancing with you for too long now Miss Sandra. Don't you think you have to share?"
"And why would I share my fiancee to another woman?" Sandra huffed to see the woman's eyes widened.
"Fiancee?" She asked again.
"Oh my...I might have slipped that out. It is not yet out to the City so please do not let anyone know about this." Sandra whispered.
"You're lying." The woman hissed with anger in her eyes.
"Oh really.." Sandra laughed, turning to Mason who didn't have any expression on his face.
"Babe? She said I'm lying that you're my fiancee. I can't even believe someone is fighting me over you. Didn't you say you're all mine?" Sandra pouted.
"I don't know what's going through your head Miss Pete but please don't you ever call my fiancee a liar again." He said, more like a warning.. causing the woman's eyes to widen the more as she walked away from them.
"Are you jealous?" He asked again.
"Can you stop asking me that, I'm trying to save you here."
"Save me from what?"
"From the clutches of deranged women." She said and smirked when he cocked a brow.
"Oh wow now."

Ashley walked down the hallway.
They were back home now and the atmosphere was so calm and nice.
She loved the air breathed in at home, it was unlike that of the hospital room.
She was about to walk in to her room when she stopped and crossed over to the lady room that was that of Mikhail.
He had told her that she would be moving in to his room tonight and she liked it.
He had confessed his love for her and promised to take care of her. Her life could not go any better. She was so happy.
She opened the door after inputing the password which turns out to be her name.
Walking into the room, she switched on the light and smiled.
It was grey in colour and had that weird style but if was cool nevertheless.
She walked to the bed and sat on it. Her belly still hurt as if she was punched so hard there.
She saw a file on the table and picked it up.
It read; Baby.
Which made her wonder whose baby it was.
Of was it the contract?
She opened it and glanced through her eyes widened when she read what was on the paper.
It was a paper of a baby's time of Death.
What was this doing in Mikhail's room?
She blinked, reading the name.
"Victoria Mikhail Mazza. Date: 10/05. Time of Death; 17:05. Status: Unborn. Reason: Cut in-between a surgery time with mother's injury. Decision by father."
What was this? What did this mean? This was the very same day she was shot and this was close to the time the had gone to that beach... what did it mean?
Her eyes welled up, as she held the paper higher to read every article.
What was this? What the fuck was this?
The paper fell from her hand as her knee gave way and she almost fell to the ground.
"I....I, I was..." She trialed off, the tears coming down in full.
Just then Mikhail walked into the room.
His eyes widened when he saw her on the floor crying and he rushed to her only to see the paper on the floor.
His jaw dropped and he looked at her.
"Ashley I can explain..."
