Chapter 1025 Christmas Ball
Chapter 1025 Christmas Ball
The girl whom Pansy considered to be extremely ugly seemed to have a strong attraction to Draco.
She was sitting against the wall, and the white frost on the wall sparkled in the candlelight, making the thin golden lines on her black dress even more dazzling.
Her exposed shoulder was smooth and delicate, and the pair of black high heels inlaid with rhinestones on her feet were equally shiny, but they could not hide her long, white legs.
As mysterious as the deep starry night, Draco felt the noisy sounds in his ears getting farther and farther away.
His Adam's apple moved and he picked up the champagne in front of him impatiently.
After drinking one cup, I still felt dry mouth.
There was only one question left in his mind, which was who was this girl with such outstanding temperament?
Is it another half-Veela from Beauxbatons?
No! Her hair is brown.
Draco noticed the faint gleam of red in her hair.
Is that...earrings?
The ruby wrapped in fine gold is a very tasteful combination.
The corners of his mouth couldn't stop rising.
With a great figure, outstanding temperament and extraordinary taste, how bad can her appearance be?
Just when he imagined the 17th classical and dignified look for the other person, the slender figure suddenly turned around.
Above the sexy collarbone is a slender neck as elegant as a swan, and further up is a delicate chin with clear contours, like a precious gem.
The lines of her face seemed like a meticulously crafted work of art. Her luscious red lips were even more dazzling than the pair of gold and ruby earrings. Her teardrop-like nose was round, slightly full and not exaggerated.
As he went up further, Draco's eyes widened.
This familiar look is very much like a person, a person who, let alone someone he can actively fantasize about, is not even worthy of standing with him.
"Hermione Granger..."
Draco muttered the name with gritted teeth, and Krum, who was sitting on the other side, subconsciously looked in the direction he was looking.
She is still as beautiful and charming as ever, and the black dress she wears adds a sense of mystery, making people want to conquer her.
However, Krum's impulse quickly cooled down because he thought of the other person's boyfriend.
He turned to look at Vincent who happened to be sitting directly opposite him.
It was the same black dress, also embellished with gold decorations, but it did not magnify the previous characteristics. The calmness and restraint completely disappeared, replaced by an unparalleled domineering attitude.
Be it the four warriors present, or the three headmasters and two high-ranking officials of the Ministry of Magic, none of them has a greater aura than Vincent.
This feeling of invincibility made Krum smile bitterly.
Perhaps only Vincent is worthy of a girl like Hermione.
On the other side of the guest of honor table, Harry and Ginny were getting along particularly stiffly.
When there wasn't much of the sumptuous meal left, Dumbledore stood up and said, "Okay, everyone get up."
He flicked the Elder Wand and all the tables flew to the wall.
In the middle of the auditorium, a high stage rises against the right wall of the mirror-smooth dance floor, on which are placed a drum set, several guitars, a lute, a cello and several organs.
Amid countless expectant gazes, eight figures wearing black robes that were deliberately torn into tatters and with particularly thick hair stepped onto the stage.
They are a top band in the wizarding world, and are a group of quirky sisters with all eight members appearing on the Chocolate Frog Wizard card.
The auditorium suddenly erupted in thunderous applause, and after they picked up their instruments, all the lanterns on the tables went out.
The Weird Sisters played a sad, slow tune. Dumbledore smiled at the warriors and their partners and motioned for the eight of them to enter the dance floor.
Vincent gently lifted Furong's small hand with his right hand and walked onto the dance floor first.
He placed his left hand on her waist and danced a slow waltz to the rhythm of the music.
Spinning is the characteristic of waltz, and the tulle skirt of Furong's skirt draws one semicircle after another in the air.
The other three warriors were not to be outdone and started dancing to the rhythm.
As the music speeded up slightly to reach its climax, Vincent and Fleur suddenly stopped dancing.
Amidst countless confused and puzzled gazes, Furong actually walked quickly out of the dance floor, came to Daphne and took her hand.
The weird sisters who were concentrating on playing seemed not to hear the sudden exclamations. They were immersed in the musical world of their own creation.
Vincent on the dance floor didn't have to wait too long. Fleur handed Daphne's hand to him. He held it gently, stepped forward, and danced a jazz dance with her to an interlaced rhythm.
The white strappy high heels tapped out a dynamic rhythm on the mirror-like floor. The two people's impromptu dance steps did not follow the beat of the music, which should have been full of incongruity but instead had a different kind of coordination.
Although everyone was prepared, when Daphne stopped and led Hermione to the dance floor with Fleur, their exclamations still drowned out the end of the song played by the Weird Sisters.
When the last guitar note fell, Vincent looked at Hermione who was slowly approaching and raised his hand and snapped his fingers lightly.
Seven violins suddenly appeared on the stage near the right wall.
They float in the air with the bow, playing out secret and passionate notes.
Vincent took Hermione's hand, and they only had each other in their eyes.
A piano appeared silently on the stage. Until it started to play, only eight people in the huge auditorium, including the weird sisters with strange expressions, noticed its existence.

They had just finished playing and before they could figure out what was going on, they discovered that their cello was also floating.
As its hum cut through the air, Vincent's left hand rested squarely on the small of Hermione's back.
She wrapped her right hand around his neck, "You seem to have stolen all the limelight from the warriors."
Vincent's left foot aggressively brushed over the hem of her skirt, which was slit on one side, and pressed against her long white legs. "Aren't you the same?"
Hermione spun counterclockwise on the heel of her left shoe, as if trying to get away from him.
Vincent put a little force on the hand on her lower back and pulled her back to him, their noses almost touching.
"If they blame me..."
"Now, the time belongs to us, to our tango."
Hermione chuckled as he lifted her up and spun her around half a circle. After landing, she raised her foot and hooked it around his thigh.
Vincent leaned down, trying to get closer to her tender red lips, but she suddenly loosened her grip on his thigh and hung the tip of her shoe on his instep, with the arch of her foot stretched into a graceful arc.
Hermione twisted her head and the ends of her brown hair brushed against his Adam's apple.
Her black high-heeled shoes inlaid with rhinestones pierced precisely into the gap of his leather shoes, and as the trumpet sounded, he dragged a long trail on the floor.
The heavy sound of the piano rang out, followed by a series of contradictory and staggered notes written by the violin.
After spinning closely together in perfect harmony, their foreheads pressed together, staring at each other.
Hermione's breathing was a little rapid. "That's enough. Do you really want to steal all the limelight?"
Vincent's hand that was supporting her lower back slowly moved upwards, gently stroking her slightly undulating back, "They can take the limelight back."
"Who can rob you?"
"Hmm...it seems like they're always trying."
Even if they were standing still, even if they were standing on the edge of the dance floor, no matter how gorgeous the other three couples' dance steps were, the focus of the entire auditorium was still on them.
