Chapter 1194 A Rare High-Quality Sandbag, The Cooked Duck Flees Away
"You will tell me," Thanos said calmly, then raised his left fist and clenched it tightly.
The Space Stone on the middle finger and the Reality Stone on the ring finger of the Infinity Gauntlet flashed with blue and red light, respectively.
As Thanos bent his arm and pulled, the distance between the two was infinitely reduced.
An invisible force came from behind Aaron, and before he could react, he was sent flying toward Thanos.
Thanos's lips curled up slightly, and his free right hand reached for Aaron's neck.
A mage's physical body is very fragile and cannot be compared to a cosmic Titan. As long as they can seize this opportunity, they have won.
Before Aaron could even react, that large purple hand had seized his fate by the throat.
"You're quite the magician, magic..."
Before Thanos could even utter the word "master," he was struck in the chest.
puff!
Thanos's soul detached from his body and fell backward.
In a daze, he saw a hint of mockery in Aaron's eyes.
Just then, the Soul Stone on the little finger of the Infinity Gauntlet emitted an orange light, quickly pulling Thanos's soul back.
Thanos's lifeless eyes regained their luster, and before he could even adjust, he realized his right hand was empty.
That shouldn't be! His soul only briefly left his body, for less than a second, not a minute. How could he possibly break free from the Titan's power?
Thanos, bewildered but impressed, realized he seemed to have overlooked something.
Suddenly, a flash of orange-red appeared in Thanos's eyes. He instinctively leaned back, and the sharp blade sparked as it scraped against his golden armor.
“The Sacred Sword of Vishanti.” Aaron casually swung the orange-red longsword in his hand. “I don’t really like using swords, but this is passable.”
Thanos patted his armor, his eyes gradually turning cold.
The next moment, he took the initiative to attack, his clenched right fist aimed straight at Aaron's head.
Aaron swiftly turned around, dodging the attack while simultaneously slashing horizontally with his longsword.
Thanos grabbed the blade with one hand, about to retaliate, but Aaron suddenly dispelled the magic, slashing Thanos across his waist and abdomen with two Rings of Laggardor before quickly retreating to create distance.
The golden armor absorbed most of the damage, but it also caused Thanos a slight pain.
Regardless of whether the mage's physical body was weak, his combat skills were far superior to what he had expected.
However, it's not entirely incomprehensible, since Kamar-Taj is specifically a place for training melee mages.
"State your name, Master."
"Aaron."
“You deserve to be remembered,” Thanos said, then removed his helmet and took off his armor.
"Undefended?"
"No need."
“Alright, then don’t blame me for taking advantage of you.” Aaron playfully raised the two Rings of Laggardor in his hand, without the slightest bit of embarrassment.
Thanos sneered and attacked Aaron directly.
The Titans' physique gave him immense confidence. He had just underestimated his opponent and been careless. But under the Heavenly Father, he had never been afraid of anyone in close combat.
Aaron immediately threw the Ring of Laggardor in his hand like a throwing knife, while Thanos did not dodge at all, using his hand as a knife to slash and shatter the two magical rings.
He closed in at lightning speed, giving Aaron no chance to use a second spell, and swung his purple fist at him.
However, Aaron's next move completely surprised Thanos.
He didn't dodge or retreat, but instead clenched his fists to meet the attack.
At the same time, Thanos saw that familiar mocking smile once again.
Two fists, one large and one small, collided, producing a dull thud.
boom!
The purple figure flew backward, sliding more than ten meters across the temple before coming to a stop.
"This is impossible," Thanos exclaimed incredulously.
"You have no idea what 'possible' means."
Aaron brought his five fingers together and swung them forcefully at Thanos.
To his astonishment, a massive slash sliced through the surface of the temple and flew straight toward him.
Thanos hurriedly held his arms out in front of him, managing to block the attack, but a sharp wound appeared on his arm, as if he had been cut by a knife.
"Tsk! They're really tough!"
However, this kind of physique might allow me to be a little more serious.
"Who are you anyway?"
"Aaron, I don't want to say it a third time."
Thanos: ......
Did I mean that?
While Thanos was stunned, Aaron leaped up and appeared in front of Thanos almost in a flash, punching him hard in the cheek.
Thanos's face contorted, and his body slammed uncontrollably to the other side, two teeth mixed with purple blood flying out of his mouth.
boom!
The temple was smashed into a human-shaped crater several meters wide, exposing the mechanical components to the vacuum, with blue arcs of electricity flickering on and off.
What a rare, high-quality punching bag! Perfect for venting my anger.
Aaron thought with some excitement that he had suffered a lot of mistreatment from people these past few days, but he had endured it all for the sake of the so-called greater good.
But Thanos brought it on himself. He took advantage of the fact that he had a few Infinity Stones and treated him like an easy target. Thanos deserved to be taught a lesson.
With this in mind, Aaron charged at Thanos again at incredible speed.
boom! boom! boom!
His fists rained down like a storm, and the mighty Thanos was suddenly rendered powerless to fight back, the crater beneath him growing larger and deeper.
His strength and speed were completely overwhelmed. If it weren't for the Titans' physique, which gave him almost abnormal defensive capabilities and vitality, he probably wouldn't have been able to maintain a clear mind.
Even so, Thanos was swollen, with blood flowing from the corners of his mouth and nostrils, and some of his joints were fractured.
"Hiss!" Banner, who had been watching the battle closely, couldn't help but gasp. "This is not what I expected."
“It is somewhat… brutal.” Wanda nodded awkwardly.
"I originally thought that Master would use magic to have a fierce and evenly matched battle with Thanos, who wields the four Infinity Stones, but it seems that the current situation is... a pure physical crushing."
After saying that, Banner heard Hulk's voice in his mind, chuckled, and shrugged, "As if it's a given."
"Hulk said he was no match for his master a few years ago, in terms of close combat."
"It was my oversight. My impression of my master as the God of Magic was so profound that I almost forgot that he once fought a Hell Lord to a standstill with his physical body alone."
“Pretty much,” Wanda said, slightly embarrassed. “I remember he said that destroying a planet with one punch was one of his short-term goals.”
I thought he was joking, but now it seems I lacked imagination.
"Actually, this is not bad. If Thanos were killed by the master here, then no one would snap the fingers that could wipe out half the population of the universe."
Wanda remained noncommittal, but a strange sense of hope and expectation crept into her heart.
boom! boom! boom!
The relentless blows not only caused Thanos physical pain, but also made his consciousness feel like a small boat on a stormy sea, constantly threatened by the raging waves.
"No, this can't go on any longer," Thanos thought with difficulty.
His 'destiny' is not yet fulfilled; he absolutely cannot die here in a muddled way.
Thinking of this, he looked at his left hand with his swollen eyes. In his blurred vision, the four Infinity Stones—orange, red, blue, and purple—were emitting a faint glow.
Clench your fist, you must clench your fist.
If he could find an opportunity to use the energy of any Infinity Stone, he could escape this terrible situation.
Thanos tried to move his left hand fingers. Due to the minor fracture in his arm, this movement was not easy for him, but he managed to do it with his strong willpower.
The four fingers gradually bend, and the thumb is about to touch them.
puff!
Aaron suddenly brought his five fingers together and stabbed them straight into Thanos's left arm.
His powerful physique couldn't withstand the hand strike; a large portion of the hand pierced his shoulder, and purple blood gushed from the wound like a fountain.
"Hmm!" Thanos grunted, his left fist, which he was about to clench, almost loosened.
"A formidable mind," Aaron praised. "But do you think your little tricks can fool me?"
As he spoke, Aaron's hand penetrated another half inch, and Thanos let out a painful howl, "Who exactly are you?"
"That's a funny question. You've provoked me time and time again, and you don't even know who I am?"
"I only feel that you are a threat."
"Now your feelings have become reality," Aaron asked with a chilling smile. "If I tear your arm off, can you still snap your fingers?"
Thanos's eyes widened, as if he wanted to say something to stop Aaron.
But when he met his indifferent gaze, he realized that any words would be pale and powerless at this moment.
Rumble!
Thunder roared, and Thor leaped atop Surtur's head, unleashing a torrent of lightning that crashed down upon him.
Silver-white lightning burst forth, the shockwave tore through the sky, and the dazzling lightning suddenly illuminated the entire Asgard.
Aaron glanced over instinctively, his eyes narrowing involuntarily.
Thanos seized the fleeting opportunity, enduring the intense pain to clench his left fist before his arm went numb.
The blue Space Stone on the Infinity Gauntlet shone, and a dark blue portal appeared beneath Thanos.
Sensing the spatial fluctuations, Aaron finally reacted, only to find Thanos had vanished before his eyes, leaving behind only a large crater.
Shit! Even a cooked duck can fly.
Aaron couldn't help but curse under his breath, but he didn't pay much attention to it, and just looked at Asgard from afar.
Surtur was struck head-on by the thunderstorm unleashed by Thor, staggering back a few steps, but that was all.
Thor stood precariously on Surtur's crown, the only part of the fire giant king's body not covered in flames.
He punched the crown again and again, each blow accompanied by a deafening thunderclap, and soon magma-like cracks appeared on the crown.
Surtur reached out and pinched Sol as easily as if he were an ant.
“Son of Odin.” Surtur looked at Thor with utter sarcasm. “I said I was the end of Asgard, and this is the time when the prophecy will be fulfilled.”
puff!
A huge spike suddenly pierced his arm, and Surtur groaned, "Hela."
puff!puff!puff!
More spikes came flying through the air, piercing his arm.
Enraged, Surtur threw Thor away and swung the Twilight Sword at Hela, who was perched atop the giant spike.
"No!" Wanda, who was focused on the battle, exclaimed instinctively, "Aaron, quick..."
“Don’t worry, she’s fine,” Aaron interrupted casually. “It was just an illusion.”
Wanda paused for a moment, only to see the Twilight Sword slice through Hela like a hot knife through butter, and she and the giant 'wolf's tooth' beneath her feet disappeared together, but the expected explosion did not occur.
call!
Wanda breathed a sigh of relief, but her heart was still pounding with fear.
boom!
Thor crashed onto the Rainbow Bridge, slamming into it several times before he could barely get up.
"See that?" Loki asked, his breathing rapid and a smug smile on his face. "My magic still works to some extent."
“I see, but it would look even more convincing if you didn’t pant so much.”
“You make it sound so easy,” Loki snapped. “Our sister is standing on a pile of giant spikes hundreds of meters high. Creating such a realistic projection that can fool Surtur requires a hundred times more magic than creating an illusion of you.”
"How many more times can you do this?" Thor asked seriously.
"I'm not sure," Loki said, lacking confidence. "Maybe twice, maybe three times."
“Keep covering me, no, cover us.” Thor patted Loki on the shoulder and charged toward Surtur again.
Dense lightning gathered around him, condensing into a silver-white lightning spear. As it approached Surtur, Thor suddenly leaped up and hurled it with all his might.
Stab it!
Several flashes of lightning streaked across Surtur's crown, momentarily halting his sword-wielding attack.
Loki slapped his forehead speechlessly, covering Thor's body while muttering a wry remark.
Hela was a shrew, but she was a shrew of God-father caliber. She had the confidence to fight back, and there were even people waiting to bail her out.
Why are you rushing so fast? You don't even know how to conserve your divine power.
Our goal is to buy time, not to fight Surtur to the death.
If you could compete with them, that would be fine, but who do you think you are? With your size, do you think you can compete?
......
A dark blue portal opened at the other end of the temple, and Thanos emerged from it, his left fist clenched, looking disheveled.
The Reality Stone on the left ring finger of the Infinity Gauntlet shone brightly, and a red light swept across his body, erasing all his injuries.
When Aaron saw this scene, he couldn't help but smacked his lips, "Yeah, I feel like I beat you in vain."
"The pain is real," Thanos said coldly, his voice filled with anger. "I've never been hit like this since I was born. I can barely lift my head."
“Now your life is a little more complete,” Aaron joked.
"Who exactly are you?" Thanos asked again. "You know Kamar-Taj magic, but you are definitely not from Earth."
"Who are you scolding?"
"Humans on Earth are no match for Titans."
"Hehe! Stop patting yourself on the back."
What do you mean by "a contest of skill"? You were just a little slow, otherwise do you think you'd still have the chance to stand here and speak?
