##Chapter 6
Livia
A week has passed since the day I went to live on the farm. I was lying in my bed, late at night, dressed in the shirt of an arrogant man who never looked at my face again, thinking about him, thanks to a romance novel I had read. I wasn't in love or anything, I was just curious what it felt like to be dressed in my boyfriend's shirt and it was totally pointless, I know.
I couldn't help but feel silly about it. I barely knew the guy and I was already like that, and on top of everything, he was thick.
I heard a noise upstairs and quickly sat up, a little afraid that it could be someone else there, Demetrio didn't seem to be noisy, he never made a noise when he went there, I knew he went sometimes, because I felt his balcony smell. I decided to go to the small terrace to discreetly see who it was.
I went up very slowly and saw someone from behind, I recognized him right away. My stupid heart sped up as I felt relieved that it was him and not a stranger. He was shirtless, and I couldn't help but notice how big he was and how manly too, I just wanted him to turn around, to get a better view of the man-shaped sculpture.
What was happening to me? I had never had indecent thoughts until I looked at that rude man.
"Hey..." I called softly and he turned around, giving me a surprised look, I don't think he expected me and for the first time he looked directly at me.
He was silent for a few seconds looking at me, it seemed he was lost in my eyes, he didn't say a single word for a whole minute, he just evaluated me with his eyes, wandering over every inch of my body that shuddered with that intense look, he he had never really looked me in the eyes. I ended up getting embarrassed and curled up, hugging my own body, as I felt my face get hot, I didn't know what to say or do.
- What are you doing here? he finally spoke, his voice a bit hoarse and whispery, for the first time he didn't sound arrogant.
"I heard a noise and—" He cut me off.
"Could be a thief." You shouldn't be so curious.
— Really... Sorry, I'm coming. I lowered my head and turned to go downstairs.
- Girl? I think that shirt you're wearing is mine. - he said trying to contain a smile, for the first time I saw that expression on his face.
I didn't know where I was sticking my head.
“Oh, it's true. I... Yeah... - I was so embarrassed at that time that I didn't even know what to say - I'm sorry, take it! I found the words, quickly taking off my shirt and handing it to him.
I was wearing only short shorts and a thin shirt, with no bra underneath. I caught his gaze roaming my body and looked away, my cheeks heating up.
"I think you can give it back to me tomorrow." Is cold. he said, averting his gaze from me.
- No. I exclaimed firmly. "Get your shirt." — I insisted — I got confused, I thought it was another one, I had a similar one in my wardrobe. — lied .
But at least at some point I should not be a total idiot. Demetrius took the shirt, frowning, and I walked away.
“Then I'll be going. Have a good night . — I said that walking backwards to go down, I accidentally tripped over something and when I was about to fall, I felt strong arms holding me. Hands so big they almost wrapped around my waist.
At that moment our eyes met once more, he seemed mesmerized looking at me, his eyes stopping on my lips. I felt his breath very close to mine, which made my whole body shiver and heat up at that moment. My heart was beating so hard it almost hurt.
The wind of the gentle night breeze passed over our bodies, his eyes were highlighted by the perfect moonlight that was in the sky, along with every detail of the perfectly sculpted male face. Geez, I could easily fall in love with that man. He was beautiful. But only with your mouth closed, because when you opened it, it lost all its charm to rudeness.
He looked a little taken aback as he came to and lifted me up, pulling away in the process.
“Look where you're going little girl, maybe next time I won't be there to catch you. He blinked .
- OK. I should be more careful. I'm sorry... - again I was interrupted by him.
"Do you know how many times you've apologized?" You better go to sleep. He shook his head.
“You're right, I have no reason to apologize when I never treated you like the idiot you are. I said irritably.
I turned and went downstairs, closed the double doors to the porch and climbed into bed. I would no longer tolerate such treatment from him. However, once again I would go to sleep thinking about that cursed brute.
The next day, I woke up to someone knocking softly on my door. I got up and opened it, finding my dad.
- Hi daughter. Good morning. Sorry to wake you up honey. But I need to talk to you.
- Good morning. No problem dad, come in. I replied yawning.
— I received a call from the city next door, I was informed that the branch of our milk factory is in trouble and I need to go there, only the owner can solve it.
"Will you be there long?"
- A few days.
“Wow … But that's okay, I'll be fine. I'll just miss you. — smile .
“Me too, princess. I will come today at 18:00, we can spend the day together today, what do you think?
- I would love! I replied excitedly.
— I'll be waiting for you to have breakfast together.
"I'm on my way down now."
When my father left the room, I went to take a shower. I got ready, put on jeans, a button-down blouse, boots and went down to have coffee with my father.

The day with him had been perfect, we went horseback riding, went to the lake together, he taught me how to milk the cows, showed me most of the animals on the farm except the rest of the horses, ate lots of fruit, climbed a few trees and we had a lot of laughs, never in my life had I felt so happy like this.
