##Chapter 7
Livia
I said goodbye to my father at great cost. I gave him a long hug and lots of kisses, I knew he would be back soon but I loved him so much I was sure that just one day without him would feel like a year.
“Oh, I just remembered something. Can you do me a favor, daughter?
"Of course, anything dad. I replied promptly, happy to be of assistance in any way.
— I haven't seen Demetrius all day and I forgot to give him the shopping list for animal feed. Can you do this for me?
- Of course, leave it to me. — I accepted immediately, already feeling butterflies in my stomach knowing that I would find that brute again.
- Thanks. The paper is on top of my desk in the office.
And with one last kiss and one more strong hug, I watched him get into his car and drive away.
Some time later, I was sitting on a swing made in a tree that my father had shown me earlier, I expected to see Demetrius to deliver my father's message along with the list, which I would have to go home to get.
It had been an hour since my father left and the scene could have looked like a sad girl, but I wasn't, for the first time in my life, I was happy, I had freedom and my father's love. I was just alone.
Suddenly I heard someone's voice behind me.
— Hi, Livia, huh?
I turned towards the voice and was surprised to see a boy apparently my age. He was tall and had brown hair, his face was very handsome, green eyes and he reminded me of someone
— Hi, yes, I'm Livia. - replied .
— I'm Frederick. I live here on the farm with my brother.
"Pleased to meet you, Frederic." Do you also work here?
— The pleasure is mine, Livia. And no, I don't work here, just my brother. I don't know if you've met him , but he's the foreman here.
"Ah, yes... You're Demetrius's brother..."
"I am." Have you met him then?
“Yes, and it's a surprise you're not as rude as he is.
“He's a pain in the ass, boring as fuck. He's a good man despite that.
I shrugged.
- Where do you come from? Frederick asked.
— I came from the capital, and you? Were you born right here?
“Yes, I was born in the little town next door.
When Frederic was about to say something else, we were interrupted.
“Frederic! the voice that made my heart race rang out.
- Oh no! Dude, you fill the bag! - the boy said, upset.
— You haven't finished your chores, so you can't go out or sleep before finishing. Demetrius exclaimed, approaching us.
I barely looked at him.
- Cum. Fucking bitch. — he said snorting — Bye, Lívia, see you around .
— Bye, Frederick. I waved a hand and he walked away. "You shouldn't be so tough."
— I grew up like this and that made me a good man, this boy is very lazy and if he continues like this he will become a bad character. he justified angrily, turning his back.
- Wait! - I shouted and he stopped abruptly - My father asked me to give you a shopping list for the animals.
He held up his hand.
— It's not here, it's over at home. I'll get it and I'll be right back. He forgot to let you know because we've been out all day and he hasn't seen you.
'My house is behind the barn, you can go there and give it to me, I can't wait now.' he replied, turned his back and walked away.
“Stupid brute. I muttered and walked into the house.
I entered the house, headed towards my father's office and quickly found the paper he referred to. As I was leaving, I started to think that maybe this way I could talk to Frederic more, he seemed friendly and I never had any friends.
When I got behind the barn, I approached the only house I saw. It was small, with a front porch and tiled roofs. The door was ajar, but I knocked a few times anyway .
- Hello! I called, my heart racing.
- In between. I heard his voice and my hands started to shake.
- Excuse me. I asked before pushing open the door and entering.
When I looked up, I saw him. Demetrius was shirtless and appeared to be working out on something, a barbell placed on the doorframe between the kitchen and the living room. I just couldn't disguise how fascinating the scene was. What was damned rough about him, he was also damned handsome.
Again the impure thoughts returned.
He stopped the exercise and stood looking at me as I could only travel my gaze across that ripped, sweaty abs. I felt shivers I had never felt before, sensations that made me ashamed of myself, my gaze was fixed on him, when a word from him brought me back.
- The list. he asked, looking at my hand holding the paper.
At the moment, he had a husky, husky voice that made me warm as he held out his hand for me to hand over the list.
I cleared my throat.
- Here. I took a few steps back when he held the paper.
- Thanks. I widened my eyes, surprised that for the first time he wasn't being rude to me for no reason.
- You are welcome. - I replied and he looked at me with a sudden smile forming on his lips and wow... What a smile - I'm coming. Goodbye. I turned to leave when his voice stopped me.
“Today there will be an event in heaven. An eclipse. I will be upstairs. He shrugged , going back to the exercise that brought out every bit of muscle.
I nodded slightly and walked outside, not knowing what to say. Did I understand correctly? Was that an invitation? Did he want me to go upstairs today?
