❤️ Revelations (Part 2) ❤️
A cough startled mother and son and they turned towards the direction the cough was coming from.
Adaoh was seen coming out from Storm's room and Empress Rose didn't hide her shock.
"Are you staying here? Won't you go with them?"
"I will go, I know where they are heading to so I will meet them."
"Why didn't you follow them?"
"My two daughters are dead and buried here and you are still asking me a senseless question." Adaoh said with her hands in tight balls.
Empress Rose opened her mouth to retort something back to Adaobi but Morgan spoke first.
"I'm sorry for what my mother said. She didn't mean any of that. She is just surprised to see you here." Morgan quickly chips before his mother will say something and escalate the matter. "I'm sorry."
Taking a deep breath. It's okay. Like I said I know where they are going so I will meet them. I just need to spend some time with my dead daughters," Adaoh said and stared pointedly at Empress Rose. "You would have understand the kind of pain I am going through if Storm had killed Fred.'' With that, she walked to the grave of Gwen and Rumi.
Empress Rose felt pity for her.
"I'm sorry Adaoh, I didn't mean to upset you more." She apologized and left with her son.
Leaving Adaoh alone who started sobbing.

Garden of Edenis:
Arriving at the Garden of Edenis at dusk, the gate that leads into the big compound was opened as they alighted from their horses and entered. Two of the assassins close the gate behind them. As soon as they tied horses, the assassins all mixed with darkness surrounding them.
"So is this where we will be staying?" Cando asked as they entered the house which was dark. His eyes were getting used to the darkness around them. "You didn't even take food, or money. At least that would have gone a long way for us." he added, trying to forget about his pain.
Storm didn't reply, he closed his eyes and the candles in the house all began to lit up, giving the room light.
Cando shook his head at Storm and his eyes began to roam around. They were inside a big room, a big wide room which has no doors and Cando wondered where they would be sleeping. His attention came to an abrupt stop when he saw a huge tree with plenty of branches standing erect in the middle of the room.
"Why is there a fuc.king tree inside the room?" he couldn't contain his surprise.
"That's because beneath it is something magnificent." A familiar voice replied and he moved his eyes to see who spoke which widened in disbelief when he saw who it was. "So I take it that it worked?"
"Yes, it did." Kira responded with a small smile playing on her lips.
"Good." Rumi muttered.
THE NIGHT BEFORE THE WAR:
Flashback to Chapter 141:
"Why did Edgardo come to meet you?" Storm asked slowly, bringing Rumi's attention to him.
"He wants me to kill Dean, according to him he wants Dean to know how it feels like to be betrayed by me." Rumi answered.
"Of course that is what you are good at," Kira chips in. "Stabbing people in the back. That's your perfect work."
Rolling her eyes at Kira. "I'm also good at other things Juno."
"Are you going to do it?" Storm asked.
"Yes, Dean deserves it," Rumi answered sincerely. "Besides, you have to be careful Kando. Edgardo saw you at the cave with Storm so he might know you have switched sides and might target you after Dean. He is cunning so be careful." she told Kando who nodded his head.
"I am no longer the old Kando who was under Dean's spell. I know how to defend myself," Kando said to her. "My kind don't die that easily."
"How will you kill Dean? He is powerful, untouchable, you don't know him that well Rumi, you can't kill him." Phoenix spoke.
"Well, Edgardo promised to give me something that would kill Dean with the aid of my magic." Rumi revealed.
"The real war starts tomorrow, Dean will be sending all his armies here, he has a lot of well trained armies." Kando announced.
"We don't have much time then, we have to keep the people safe from danger." Storm said, getting up on his feet. "I need to meet Morgan so that he could tell me the numbers of armies we have in each of the other three kingdoms and in Ashland. We need to pass a message to the former King's and ask them to prepare for war. They will be joining us to fight against Dean and his armies." he added.
"I need to start going to report back to Dean, it's my duty. My brother and I will try as much as possible to help you." Kando said.
A knock on the door interrupted them and Rumi opened the door and smiled widely when she saw who it was and opened the door widely for Emera to enter and closed it, resting her back against the door once again.
"Father, how are you?" she asked.
"I'm fine my dear, has it been long since you came here?" Emera asked as she kissed Rumi on her cheek and then proceeded to kiss Kira too on her cheek.
"Not really father." Rumi answered.
"Gwen, how is your body now?" Emera asked, going to meet her and kiss her on the cheek.
"I'm fine," Gwen said, loving the attention she was receiving from everyone.
"I have a plan," Storm said, bringing back everyone's attention to him. He stared at Rumi. "Did you notice anything when I fought with Edgardo?" he asked.
Nodding her head to his question. "I did. The Edgardo you fought was an illusion. He isn't real."
"What?" Kira almost shouted. "I don't believe this, I fought with him. He was real."
"The magic used in creating him was strong. You won't know it's not real. I know when I fought with him and that was why I am asking Rumi." Storm told Kira. "Anyway, I have a plan on how to bring out the real Edgardo."
"You know the real Edgardo?" Gwen asked.
"Yes, I know him. I wasn't sure before but right now I am hundred percent sure he is Edgardo. He is just hiding his true self."
"What's your plan?"
"We play his own game and lure him out of his hiding spot." Storm answered.
"That won't be easy." Phoenix said.
"It is, mother. Look, we need to solve everyone's problem since I won't be living here. Rumi and Gwen will pretend to die."
"Why?" Gwen asked.
"Morgan won't leave you alone. He is going to be bugging your life until your last breath Gwen, so to cut him off your life, you have to pretend as if you are dead, that is if you really want to be with Kando." Storm replied. "Morgan is my brother and you can't expect me to sit down and watch Kando beat Morgan even though you like him."
"I understand. When do you want me to play dead?" Gwen asked again.
"I don't know when but I have a feeling that before the war is over so get yourself ready."
"And me?" Rumi asked.
"Since you are going to the Kudarma to meet Dean, when I come you will fight with Edgardo and I will fight with Dean since we don't know the plan he has up his sleeves. You just have to be careful when you are around the illusion so that Edgardo won't read you that easily." Storm told Rumi.
"I don't trust her. She might betray us in the end. Rumi I know will gladly stab you in the back."
"Juno, I am really a changed person. If I hadn't changed I wouldn't have come here to tell you about Edgardo's visit, right?"
"That's only an excuse to buy our hearts and trust but believe me Rumi, it won't work for you."
"If you could see my heart right now you will realize that I am being sincere. I won't betray anyone I give you my word. You have to trust me just this once again." Rumi looks at Storm. "I'm in whatever you plan."
Kira remembered the words of Eva and realized that the elf wasn't talking about her and Gwen, the elf was actually talking about Rumi.
"Fine, just this once. This is a trial."
"Thank you Juno."
"That reminds me, I remembered seeing someone at the back of the Palace with some Ninjas assassins in Kudarma and I couldn't remember his name but being here has made me remember him." Kando chips in. He couldn't forget that night.
"Who?" Storm asked in curiosity.
"Fred, I saw your brother Fred." Kando answered. "I know it's hard to believe but I saw him and a little girl."
