❤️ My Hostage (Part 12) ❤️
"Storm, I don't need Juno to stay in that cell anymore, please. Whatever the issue is now that she has remember me I will try in my own way to get information out of her but if you leave her there, the Juno I know would bow to pressure," Emera said to Storm as they walk along the long corridor and soon reach the room he was staying, the one he had woken up to find himself in, Gwen opened the door for them and waited until they enter before she walked in and close the door behind her. Making him sit on the bed, Emera held one of Storm's arms when he made to walk away from him. "Do you hear me, please. I know I will be able to make her talk."
"I have heard you, Uncle Emera. I will do as you say."
"Thank you, it hurt me to see her behind that cell."
"She and Kando killed a lot of guards before they were captured." Gwen chip in.
"I know." Emera shakes his head sadly. He still couldn't believe Juno would hurt the guards she had grew up with.
"Uncle Emera, you must rest. I will send for Rumi to come so that she can use her mouth to explain certain things to you herself," Storm said. "I will also tell them to bring you food, I know you must be hungry." And as if by cue Emera stomach growls loudly for them and Storm lips twitch upwards. "I will take that as a yes," he added and turned around to face Gwen. "Come on, let's go Gwen."
He and Gwen left the room.
Emera took a deep breath and breathed out.
Storm looked so much like him and that was why he had asked him those questions earlier on. The only difference between him and Edgardo was the color of their eyes. While Edgardo both eyes were dark red Storm eyes were mismatched, white and red.
He remembered his conversation he had with Ariadne when Phoenix dropped him off.
"Is he showing any sign of evil yet?"
"No Emera, but he is gifted. He surprised me there though, I thought none of my children would carry my gift and here my son who looks so much like Edgardo has my gift," Ariadne said, "I won't be surprised if he has more than one gift though. He is a special child Emera, I can feel it." he added.
He sighed as the memory faded away.
And as for Gwen he was surprised that Jonas didn't tell her the truth before he died at least it will save him a lot of stress in telling the two girls who they truly are. To tell both girls how their mother and father had protected them by hiding them in places no one would look for them. Jonas and him had promised the Elf King, who was a god, to protect and hide his daughters before he was killed by Dean which made the remaining elves and dwarfs that had survived the war went into hiding. No one knew how Edgardo was able to convince Sarah and Dean to his side. The elf's were powerful magical creatures and in exchange for their help in protecting his children, the Elf King made them immortal but somehow, Jonas is dead and Ariadne is also dead leaving him behind and looking at him right now, he is getting weak. Maybe someone knows about the spell the Elf King had casted on them and use that against Jonas and Ariadne. First of all they became sick with a strange illness before their death but only Ariadne was murdered, why? He could have thought it was Edgardo doings but that evil god was dead. He was killed so that thought flew off his head. So who could it be?
'In this race of life no one lives forever my friend Emera, even the so-called gods and immortals.' he could hear the voice of the Elf King in his head. Perhaps it was their time or perhaps it was Sarah who is killing them but it has been a long time since they heard from her.
And Rumi.....he had felt a connection to the girl ever since he picked her up that day on the road and had cleaned her up. There was something familiar about her and that was why he had agreed to adopt the girl as his own just like he had done to Juno. He even told his late wife his strange feelings about Rumi.
At least wherever Adaoh may be, she would be proud of him. And speaking of their mother, he wondered if Gwen has magic like her father or mother. Juno on the other hand has the strength of a dwarf but then again years have passed and he couldn't tell yet.
A knock from the door brought him out of his deep thinking.
"Come in," he said and the door opened to reveal a female servant carrying a tray of food to him and walking to his bed.
Finally his food has arrived.
