Fearing Him

Xylo's POV

Damn, Luigi. I assumed that she is protecting her when they leave the castle. Where did they go, then? What did they do? Damn him, he is making me angry. What did he do with Clary?

Damn, Clary. She should not have walked out of the castle. We will be able to handle all these bastards alone. She doesn't need to expose herself in front of these greedy wolves. Her presence is too obvious, with her arrows shooting everyone that were about to get closer to us. Her life will be at stake in this situation!

I can protect my pack, I can protect her. I don't need her help if it is only risking her life... That is out of equation, I did not anticipated that she will be a hard-headed woman to risk her own life. She is smart to know that she is vulnerable for the attacks from gun and other long range weapons. My head ached for the possibilities of her being attacked.

Being so frustrated with those thoughts, I moved with the wind to seize all the weapons that can attack in a long range. With my full speed, I was able to collect all the guns and even knife from these wolves in an almost a minute. They were not able to defend themselves and resist my attack from seizing those weapons because they lack the capability to know my positon when I am in my full speed.

I forcefully threw the weapons that I collected to the place secured by our men. Damn, Clary. Your stubbornness will be the death of me.

Clary's POV

I wonder why he looked irritated when he looked at me, I was just trying to help. Was I too out of line? Was my aim not goof enough? I can only arrive at questions but will never found answers in his actions. Why would he get irritated? I must be the one that should be irritated because he is giving me hope!

I wasn't able to comprehend what happened next but the weapons of the enemies are vanishing one by one. With my poor sense and sight, I wasn't able to see how it happened. I just saw it vanished as it someone is stealing it from their back. I haven't seen alpha too, it looks like he vanished in thin air.

When I found him near the gate, the enemies were all confused with what happened. I took that chance to aim for their chest. Probably, out of pure luck, most of my aim were able to land at my target. Because of my arrow's sharp blade, the enemies died instantly as soon as it pierced in their chest.

Some of our enemies taken their footsteps back, some of them ran away of the castle probably will be heading home. They probably realized that they have no chance against the leaders that our pack have. They were only able to set their foot outside the castle, but it only lead to the death of most of their members. Probably, the leaders and some other wolves who have helped have already cut the enemy's pack into half.

The other wolves decided to fought with our pack, it only lead to their death. Death is expected when you set a foot in our borders. But going all the way here, at the castle of the family of leader, it is a bloodbath. Numbers of them are killed the moment that they decided to attack this territory.

I sighed with relief when most of the enemies retreated. Now that the defending is done, I can feel my knees trembling out of fear. I unconciously sat on my knees when the tiredness emerged. I sat there for several minutes, still gasping for the attack that happened earlier. Is it planned to harm the leaders? Or to harm my sister?

The sight of the blood all over the place made me trembled, it is only kicking now. Probably my adrenaline rush is over now that I am trembling all over.

I calmed myself in that tower until I am able to stand on my own. I headed in front of the castle to find my parents and sister. Now that I think of it, my sister did not join the fight against the invaders. She is probably kept inside the castle to protect her from the attack because of the possibility that she might be the reason for the attack. I headed inside the castle to look for my family but when I was about to set foot inside, one of the members of the family of the leaders, refused to allow me inside.

"You can't go in, miss..." He firmly said with his body covering the sight of the castle inside.

"Let her be." I looked behind my back to see who it was. To my surprise, it was the Omega, the younger sister of Luigi, who ordered the man guarding the castle.

I bowed at her as a sign of respect and gratitude. She looks tired from the attack earlier, her dress is also torn proving that she did also participate defending the castle. It made me curious, though. How did she know me? She probably saw me when I was introduced by Luigi to their mother.

"Your aim is great..." She said as she passed over me.

Her words made my heart flutter. To think that someone like her praised my shooting skills, made my heart happy. I cannot stop myself from smiling with her words. I cannot believe it myself that someone so lowly like me was praised by her. I just can't contain the emotions of happiness and such at this moment. I am just too happy...

I am rejoicing on my own, still not stepping inside the castle, when Alpha Xylo stopped in front of me as he is about to end my happiness.

"Don't do that again," he said as if he was threatening me.
