Chapter sixty-four( Revealing the truth)

Third person's pov:

This is ridiculous…..Like what the hell was that!" Ruffling his hair Nicholas groaned frustrated

"This is impossible…." Pacing around the hospital hallway Derrick confusingly muttered.

"Hey, bro, what is going on…..you guys looked stressed out," entering the hallway Lucien noticed the confused state of both twin brothers.

"How can my wife be your mate! Have you lost it, bro," Nicholas confusingly half yelled

"It doesn't make sense because Annabel is my mate and not your wife, so what's wrong with you?" Derrick snarled.

"She didn't tell me that she was married and besides you told me that the name of your so-called wife is Mira from Crystal mountain pack….." Derrick exclaimed with anger and annoyance visible in his tone.

"She told you that heh? That girl lying in there is Mira and not your stupid Annabel…." Derrick couldn't allow him to finish as he lugged toward him.

"Don't you dare call my mate names…." Derrick threateningly glared at him.

"Her, guys stop…." Lucien rushed towards them, "All this doesn't make sense because Derrick you told me that you were mated to Annabel while you Nicholas is married to Mira…….

"So tell me why are you guys arguing with both girls….?" With a confused expression, Lucien asked.

"THAT GIRL LYING IN THERE IS MINE!..." They both said in unison.

"Which girl….?" Lucien surprisingly muttered as he strode in the direction of where the girl was lying, slowly opening the door the doctor stopped him instantly "Beta Lucien please she doesn't need a disturbance….." Smiling, he formally uttered.

"I know….." Lucien mumbled "I just wanted to see the patient's face," he muttered.

"Oh! Just a face, ok you can peep through this hole here," The doctor pointed to the small opening in the wall.

"Thanks…." Lucien appreciated, "You welcome…" the doctor mumbled before taking his leave.

Starting at the person, Lucien looked taken back "Is Derrick alright this is Mira, Nicholas's wife….. Our future Luna,"

"This can't be possible, how can….. How can Derrick…… no no no……" moving out of the ward he strides outside where the siblings were still fuming in anger.

" Look Derrick, the person in there is Nicholas's wife, Mira," Lucien shortly uttered.

"What!.... Don't me that nonsense, the girl in there is my……

" Where is Mira! Where is my daughter-in-law?" Concerned Virginia heartbrokenly screamed as she ran towards the hospital with Alpha Den and other rank members. Their sudden appearance interrupted the siblings as they quickly stared at their mother. Derrick doesn't feel comfortable with the way things were unfolding in his eyes, he was damn sure that it was Annabel that was lying inside the hospital bed unconscious. This is the exact girl that she slept with not a while ago before this whole drama, seeing her lying on the cold floor with blood covering her body breaks him. Seeing his brother beside her at first he took it as nothing but when he claimed her as his, Derrick's world took another turn it was confusingly, surprisingly and annoying.

"She is in there……" Lucien muttered.

Before Virginia could take a step towards the room, Derrick furiously yelled "Why is everyone calling her Mira, that girl is Annabel,"

"That girl is Mira, my wife what is fucking wrong with you bro!!" Nicholas madly blasts.

"I am losing my cool here, you don't claim what MINE is!!" He roared.

"THAT GIRL IS MINE! MY MATE!!" Derrick growled with anger and rage as his whole body was shaking with different emotions at once.

"What's going on here…" Virginia with a surprised face whispered to no one in particular.

"Lucien what is happening…." Philip and his wife turned their gaze to their son in anticipation of an answer.

"Let me guess you guys are fighting for one girl…." Gamma narrowed his eyes as the word mockingly rolled out of his lips, "Sounds interesting…." He amusingly muttered.

Ignoring him, the Alpha growled with his alpha tone "And Lucien what is happening here….."

Some small crowds had already formed behind the hospital to witness what was happening as every eye got fixed on Lucien for the answer to all this drama and what could have caused this scene for the twin brothers to be deadly glaring at each other. This is the first time that the twin brothers were having an issue and to add it all this sensitive one is not good at all.

"They both claimed that the girl lying in there is theirs…" shrugging his shoulder, Lucien confusingly professed.

"Which girl…..?" Virginia asked with curiosity.

"Mira…. Lucien uttered.

" Don't you dare call her that!! Her name is Annabel what's wrong with you guys," Derrick snapped.

"My wife's name is Mira, not Annabel so get that into your empty brain," Nicholas lashes at him.

"Mind your language, Nicholas," Alpha Den exclaimed.

"That is it, how do you expect me to calmly watch him claim my wife in my presence, it doesn't make sense!!" Nicholas furiously yelled with anger.

"You guys have to calm down, we don't even know the girl in question," Virginia tenderly muttered to smoothen the atmosphere.

"Yes, that is true….." Joyce backed up.

"She is in there…." Lucien whispered.

"I am disappointed in you guys, how could you people embarrass me like this?" Glaring at his sons, Alpha Den disappointedly declared.

"Disappointed, huh? We are talking about my mate! My mate and not just a thing," Derrick let out.

"This is my wife and mate!" Nicholas roared

"Mate……" everyone surprisingly stared at Nicholas.

"You have found your mate, Nicholas?" Alpha Den gaped at him.

"Because I have been keeping quiet for a while now, that lady lying in there is my wife and mate! What nonsense," he dangerously glares at Derrick who looked confused by his words.

"You know what, go and check who the lady is…… this is serious, go now! " Alpha Den looked confused and disturb.

"No problem…." Hurryingly to go and have a look, the door was pulled open as a figure emerged from the room.

"Annabel!......

" Mira!!......

"Mira, my daughter-in-law…….

Mira is stunned as she glances at everyone standing there, murmuring has started arising from the crowd gathering around them. She felt for the ground to open and swallow her, where did she start from? How is she going to explain all this? She felt numb and paralyzed to talk and not move, she felt her throat sink into her stomach with fear and terror flashing through her eyes.

"Who is Annabel?" Alpha Den asked Derrick as all attention focused on him. A taunting smirk curled into Nicholas's lips.

"She is standing in front of me…..looking as beautiful as ever," he finishes as a warning growl escapes from Nicholas's throat. The atmosphere quickly changed as the tension was obvious to everyone there, as everyone was boring a hole into Mira's head for an answer, she didn't know how to face them. The once truth that she has been hiding for long is now here staring at her dead in the face, no matter how much she wanted to run the truth will always be there. Even if she has to run throughout her life the truth will still unveil itself, she always thought that she was in misery but hell no her misery just began now. How was she going to explain everything to Derrick? He will think that she played him, and they might team up against her. So the commotion that she was hearing in her dream wasn't just a dream but a reality, the two brothers were fighting themselves because of her. This is one of her greatest fears of being the one to jeopardize their bond. Angel's warning tone flashed into her head "I hope you won't cause a problem for the siblings' ' this word pierced sharply into her heart as she witnessed the scene in front of her.

"Angel was right all this time, I could have come clean," her heart bleeds as she remembers Angel, the only girl that she could have run to and cried her eyes out but she was no way to be found, she was no longer in existence.

"Mira you there, please what's going on?" Virginia asked with confusion and concern, snapping Mira back to reality.

Swallowing her throat as she quietly glances at everyone's face, she cleared her throat severally before she mumbled "I will explain…..
