Chapter 443 The Kids' Wishes
Chapter 443 The Kids' Wishes
"She did say something, but it's not convenient for me to say it on the phone. Why don't we meet and I'll tell you?"
Veronica was silent and her eyes were cold.
"Don't worry, I will tell you word for word. After all, it was difficult for me to accept Isabella's death as well. I want to do something for you too." Tom sighed helplessly.
Veronica stared blankly at the wall in front of her. She folded her fingers on her lap, strangling her palms with force. "Fine. When will we meet?"
"Tomorrow? I'm not at the capital today. "
"Fine." As soon as Veronica hung up the phone, she threw it aside and hurriedly pulled the pillow next to her and held it tightly in her arms.
It seemed that this was the only way she could find a trace of sense of security.
Veronica was going to sleep with Peter tonight. She didn't want to be in the same vicinity with Nick, let alone share a bed with him.
After she saw that spray bottle, if it wasn't for the six little ones, she would have left that afternoon.
At dinner, Nick looked like his usual and unfathomable self.
He was the one who gave her a week of ultimatum, but Veronica was the only one who felt uneasy.
That night, when Veronica came out of the bathroom, she went to the bedside and stared at the sleepy cute babies on the bed and frowned. The more she looked at them, the more she felt that something was wrong.
"One, two, three, four, five." Veronica counted and gasped. Someone was missing, and Peter didn't fall out of bed. She tried to figure out who was missing. "Where's Lily?"
As soon as she called the little one's name, Lily came in through the door. "Mom, I'm here!"
When Veronica turned, she saw the man who had a stronger sense of existence than anyone else. Her eyes widened.
On Nick's leg, the little one was grasping his trousers with her small hands. His legs are long and tough, so Lily could only grab his trouser leg.
Lily ran up to Veronica and raised her little head. "Mom, you forgot about Daddy! Daddy also wants to sleep with us on the bed! "
Veronica stared at Lily's shining big eyes and to the excited five little ones sitting on the bed, so cute that she didn't know what to say.
It seemed wrong to blame Lily for this and she had no reason to deprive them of their little desires.
While she was hesitating, Nick's figure leaned on her and looked down at her eyes, his eyes seemingly devouring everything with his sight alone. "I am unable to refuse."
Veronica averted her eyes and looked to the side. She saw six little happy faces. They really wanted all of them to sleep together.
At night, on the same bed--
"Wait, what are you doing?" Veronica was terrified.
Her waist was firmly held by Nick, forcing her to stick to his strong and sturdy body. This was dangerous.
"The children are here! Don't do anything! " Veronica warned through her gritted teeth in a low voice.
How would she sleep peacefully when he's like this?
Wait. Why were they, the adults, sleeping in the middle? Weren't the adults supposed to sleep on both sides each and the children in the middle? Just like before!
"What am I doing, you ask?" Nick whispered and his hot breath brushed her ears.
Veronica shrank her neck and resisted, but her attempt was in vain.
"Don't move and you'll be safe." Nick warned and she could detect danger in his voice.
Veronica's struggling body froze.
She didn't dare to move.
Because Nick was too dangerous right now!
But then again, it's not like just because she won't move didn't mean Nick would let her go!
"Nick Cage!"
"You can sleep with the kids like this when you live in Winter Villa." Nick bit her ear gently.
Veronica shuddered, closed her eyes and gritted her teeth. "Wasn't I living in Winter Villa right now?!"
"You know what I mean."
"Why do you always have to force me?" Veronica replied.
"If you are being forced, you will not be given a week." Nick said in a hoarse voice.
