Chapter 769 One Devil And Six Little Angels
Chapter 769 One Devil And Six Little Angels
"Go!" Nick suppressed his anger.
Toby just stood there as he watched the Rolls-Royce leave.
The car disappeared from his sight, but he just stood still.
Veronica couldn't have heard what he said just now, but the Suzanne behind him had clearly heard it all.
She walked up to Toby and told him, "You said that on purpose, didn't you? You just don't want Nick to hurt Veronica when she runs back to him, do you? But you just let Nick take Veronica without putting up a fight at all. What were you thinking just letting him take her that easy?"
Toby turned around and went to the car. "Let's go to the hospital."
Suzanne sighed helplessly, once again, he paid no attention to her or whatever she was blabbering about.
'Accept your fate and be a driver for him!'
Rolls-Royce was firmly on the road, and Veronica was sitting by the door.
Since she got in the car with Nick, she had been very tensed and alarmed.
The atmosphere in the car was so terrible that it did not help her ease all her worries away. It seemed that one word from either of them would be enough to serve as an incendiary! And it always made it extremely difficult for her to breathe every time. It felt like Toby said something to Nick earlier for his mood to be this ruined.
She had no idea what Toby would say.
Nick had not done anything since he got on the car, except for the terrible oppressive aura he was obviously giving off.
The more frequent this happened, the harder it was for Veronica to guess what was running on that mischievous mind of his.
Or did he want to hit her after they got out of the car?
Basing from his temper in the past, he would run over her as soon as they got off the car just like a devil.
'Now I just got stuck in the car doing absolutely nothing.'
She looked out of the window and the twilight was even more obvious.
The street lamps under the night suggested that they were not on their way to her apartment.
She started to panic when she realized that the route they were currently taking was the way to Winter Villa.
Why were they heading there?
The six youngsters were in the Winter Villa, how could she forget?
The Rolls-Royce drove into the Winter Villa territory and stopped at the gate.
Nick got out of the car first and went straight inside. Veronica, on the other hand, hesitated for a moment before going out of the car.
Looking at the tall and straight figure in front of her, she realized that she couldn't see through Nick's mind.
"Mom!"
"Mom!"
"Mom!"
"Mom!"
"Mom!"
"Mom!"
The sounds of little happiness came over merrily.
Veronica turned around, and immediately the six little dumplings pounced on her and hugged her legs.
Peter was hanging from her waist and won't come down.
"Mom is back!" Peter exclaimed.
"Mom, I miss you so much!" Cathy said happily.
"Is Mom not leaving?" Julie asked.
"Don't go." Josh pleaded.
"Oh!" Daniel nodded excitedly, clutching his mom's trouser with his two small hands!
"I - I saw Mom coming out of Daddy's car!" Lily yelled.
Veronica squatted down and patted their little heads. "Yes, I came back with Daddy. Have you had dinner yet?"
"Yes, we did!" The six little ones answered in chorus.
"Did Josh eat obediently?" She asked.
"Mom, I'm a good boy." Said Josh shyly.
"I helped Josh several times!" Julie proudly said.
'Veronica, isn't having a meal together perfect for establishing the little ones' relationship with each other?'
"Let's go! Can Mom accompany you to play?" Veronica asked.
"Of course!" That was the happiest moment for the six youngsters.
Veronica Parker and the six little ones went to the park together. After going in, they found out that there had been some new additions to entertainment facilities. And there was small plastic pool over there, which was filled with little goldfish swimming around.
With a fishing rod next to it, they can sit around the pool and fish.
Veronica imagined the children sitting on the small benches in a row, each holding a fishing rod, looking so cute, content and happy.
