Chapter 801 Brawl Between the Two Alphas

The words ended abruptly.

Veronica Parker had a terrible headache. All the torment she felt was not only physical pain. She's extremely angry at him.

'Why should I explain to Nick Cage? He's narrowminded. My explanation will be futile.' She thought.

"Nick Cage, let me tell you this. I won't be with you, but even without you, I wouldn't choose Toby Cage! If I break my promise, you can do whatever you want! Is that all right? Can you just let me go?" Veronica has been driven to get away from him.

"I won't let you go and be with Toby! Not for the rest of my life!" Nick squeezed her chin as he stroked his cold dingers on her lips. He approached her again and vehemently said. "If you accidentally forget, I can remind you until your ear bleeds every day!"

Veronica looked at him, her lips trembled.

'Can I still reason out at this guy? He's terribly paranoid!' Giving up, she rolled her eyes at him.

The elevator door opened but Veronica didn't move. Nick got up and carried her like a princess and walked out of the elevator.

Toby stared above at the red number on the elevator indicated that they reached the ground floor. As she looked at the motionless person that stood there like a sculpture, she suddenly felt aghast. She can't help but be worried and touched him. When she checked on Toby, she found that he is shaking.

Suzanne Roland tried to ignore the sentence he just yelled at Veronica. When he saw the red splotches of blood on Toby's shoulder, she was shocked and anxiously told him. "Toby, you're bleeding! I'll take you to the hospital right now!"

"Don't touch me!" Toby's voice is as cold as ice.

"Toby, you idiot." Suzanne frowned.

"Why did you say that?" Toby halt in his tracks. He turned around and asked with his voice devoid of emotion. "Who told you to say that? She will misunderstand!"

"I'm doing this for your sake! If you see for yourself, will Nick release Veronica? If he had any intention of doing so, do you think he would come to the TV station and fight with you in the elevator regardless of his own image and reputation?" Suzanne said angrily. She thought it was unbelievable, too. The king of power, fighting here for a woman? That's epic,

If she hadn't seen it with her own eyes, who would believe what happened when it got out?

Suzanne wonders if Toby is short of women. She knew for a fact that dozens of women would flock at his feet. There is no shortage at all!

'Will Toby be short of women? Of course, there is no shortage!' What she couldn't understand is why these two men were fighting over Veronica.

Toby ignored her retort. He was still afraid that Veronica will misunderstand.

"Why do you have to chase Veronica? I told you repeatedly that Veronica is not yours anymore! She gave birth to six children from Nick. How could she?"

"Stop it!" Toby's voice was suppressed as he desperately tried to control his emotion. He was enraged and trembled as the feeling of anguish, guilt, madness, and regret overwhelmed him. "Stop it, Suzanne."

What Suzanne wanted to say immediately stopped. She choked on her words but didn't say it anymore. She was so angry that she wanted to scold him tremendously and wake him up from his obsession with Veronica.

However, when she saw the red marks on Toby's shoulder, her anger pacified and immediately turned to concern. "It doesn't matter if you are angry at me, can we go to the hospital first? Your wound is open again! Do you still want your arm to be useful or do you want to be handicapped if you continue to be stubborn like this all the time?"

"If you say so, she will misunderstand," Toby repeated.

Suzanne took a deep breath and remained calm. "Okay, can I explain to her next time? Let's go to the hospital first!"

In the car, Veronica wanted to get off but found that the door could not be opened. "Nick, let me out of the car! I still have work to do!"

Nick's dark eyes were cold and apprehensive that emitted low pressure.

Veronica kicked the car door angrily. "I'm in charge of my job!"

Nick looked rigid and seemed to be trying to put up with something.

Veronica was so scared when she didn't get a response, so she leaned against the window and looked at the street view outside instead.

'What will Nick do to me? At the TV station, what he said made me shudder! He's not really going to do anything to me, isn't he?' As she looked at the street in a daze, Veronica couldn't help but wonder.
