Please
"Good grief!"
Kimberly screamed in surprise when she saw a man she knew very well sitting on one side of the bed in her room.
The man lifted his face, then turned to look at Kimberly, standing still in front of the bathroom door. Before long, Kimberly walked over to the position where the man was sitting.
"Why are you here? Didn't you say you just got home the day after tomorrow?"
Kimberly looked probingly at the man, who was none other than Nicholas. Instead of answering Kimberly's question, Nicholas's gaze shifted to the object that had been stealing his attention.
"Whose flower is that?" Nicholas tilted his chin toward the bucket of lilies that lay on the nightstand.
"How could you ask me. That's the flower you gave me, right?"
Nicholas glared. "Flowers I gave you?" then shook his head. He even had a questioning look on his face. "I sent you a red rose, not a lily. That was not a gift from me, Kimberly Aurora."
Now, it was Kimberly's turn to be confused. If it wasn't Nicholas, then who was it that sent the lilies so early? The person seemed to know that Kimberly liked the white lily.
"Who dares to give you flowers like that?" point Nicholas. He looked displeased.
Kimberly shrugged her shoulders. "I swear to God, and I don't know who's send me this flower. There's no sender's name on it. That's why I think you gave it. Besides, if it weren't, I'd throw it away." Kimberly grabbed the bucket of flowers, then threw them away in the trash not far from where she was standing. "Done. What else do you want to fuss about? Now answer my question. Why are you home? Even so early?"
Nicholas sighed then replied, "Aren't you missing me? That's why I decided to go home early. So that your longing can be healed quickly." Kimmyan's face reddened. "You're exaggerating." Nicholas's lips curled into a smirk. He then grabbed Kimberly's two fingers, squeezed them gently while continuing to look at the woman's face, which was still red from blushing.
"Are you teasing me on purpose?" he said then.
Kimberly's forehead furrowed deeply. "Teasing you? What kind of flirting do you mean?" Kimberly asked, confused. She thought she hadn't done anything since earlier.
Nicholas flashed a smile. His hand was still squeezing and even gently rubbing Kimberly's wrist. "Look at you, only wearing a thin towel covering your upper body. Is that called unintentionally flirting?"
"Arghh!" Kimberly chuckled loudly and pulled her hands from Nicholas's grip. "You thought I knew that you were going home today? You even suddenly came into my room," Kimberly said. "Besides, even if you want me to be naked, you won't be tempted, will you? I realize I'm not the type of woman you want."
Right after Kimberly finished her sentence, she let go of the towel wrapped around her body. Glancing lightly at Nicholas, she turned around and walked leisurely towards the walk-in closet. Nicholas's smile faded as he listened to Kimberly's sarcastic remark. His breath hitched when he saw the naked woman passing by in front of him.
The first second, Nicholas tried to keep his face calm. However, when he saw Kimberly brushing her wet hair from a distance, Nicholas immediately got up and approached Kimberly. Erase the distance between the two of them. After a moment, he grabbed the woman's waist and pushed her small body into a corner on one side of the cupboard. Nicholas quickly landed his lips on Kimberly's lips. Giving an initially gentle kiss but seemed to continue to demand over time. He continued to kiss, kissing those tiny lips without taking his eyes off her. Nicholas directed his hand to caress Kimberly's naked body, continuing to kiss.
After a while, he let go of his lips. He was then moved to the crook of Kimberly's neck.
"Nick..." the sigh escaped from Kimberly's lips.
Nicholas looked up, staring at Kimberly's brown bead with a foggy look and implying an irresistible passion. Kimberly even realized that. Then pulled Nicholas's body to stand parallel to him.
"Do, what you want, Nick." Kimberly hissed.
With a heavy breath, Nicholas again caressed Kimberly's lips greedily. However, when Kimberly tried to lower Nicholas's pants, the man seemed to come to his senses and then pulled away again. He shook his head several times. "Kimberly, stop it! Sorry, I really can't."
The next second, Nicholas left just like that, leaving Kimberly sitting in her position.

Kimberly's tears were still flowing. The day had turned into night, but she still sat slumped next to the cupboard while hugging her legs. She spilled all the tears and disappointment that filled her chest cavity. She wondered if he was so disgusting that Nicholas would never even touch her body. Or the man had not expected her all this time.
"You are pathetic, Kimmy. When the doctor sentenced you to a deadly disease, at that moment, the man, you call your fiancé doesn't seem to want you. You should be aware."
Kimberly laughed bitterly. She was laughing at fate because until this moment, maybe she was the only one who loved Nicholas but not the other way around.
"Fuck disease. To hell with Love. What are you thinking about all this for?"
Kimberly wiped the tears that rolled down her cheeks and forced her body to stand up. Strengthened his heart to forget what had just happened. A moment later, Kimberly decided to change clothes. she was applying light make-up, then walking hurriedly out of the room. Her steps stopped when she saw Nicholas's tightly closed room, but soon she decided to leave the apartment without saying goodbye to Nicholas.
Walking aimlessly using an online taxi, Kimberly decided to stop at an upscale bar located in the city center. No frenzy here. Only a few people seemed busy sipping their drinks. Don't know what possessed Kimberly to make her desperate to go to a place she had never been before. It was his first time going to a bar. But he didn't care. Kimberly confidently walked towards the bartender's table. Sit down on one of the chairs. Her eyes scanned the row of drinks bottles on display in the display case right behind the bartenders standing.
"Would you like something to drink, miss?" asked the short-haired bartender. He flashed a smile at Kimberly.
"Give me whatever you think is good. I'm in a quandary right now. Or if you may, give me a drink that can forget my sadness for a moment."
The bartender chuckled and nodded. Then began to mix drinks and serve them on the table. "Have a drink, and this margarita seems to suit you."
Kimberly shrugged nonchalantly, unhesitatingly grabbing the glass of drink and taking a quick gulp. In the next second, Kimberly's face turned red. Her tongue tasted, trying to unravel the strange taste of the drink he had just taken.
"Gosh, miss!" shrieked the bartender. "That's not how you drink a margarita."
Kimberly's forehead furrowed deeply. "What kind of drink is this? Besides, what should I drink it like?" Kimberly asked, confused.
Seeing Kimberly's behavior, the bartender could conclude that this was the first time the woman in front of him had drunk alcohol. He shook his head and answered the question that Kimberly asked earlier. "That's a margarita, a drink made by mixing tequila, triple sec, and limes. Also topped with a little salt on the edges to add flavor. And especially alcoholic drinks, you have to sip it slowly, not drink it in one gulp like earlier."
Kimmy nodded in understanding. "Then give me another drink. This one is salty. You can make my hair fall out if you eat too much salt like this."
The bartender was giggling, amused at Kimberly's funny behavior. He turned his head to look at the display case behind him. Thinking about what other drinks to give to a woman drinking alcohol for the first time. "Just give me that!" The bartender turned and noticed where Kimberly's index finger was pointing. "You mean the white bottle?"
Kimmy nodded. "Yeah, give me a glass."
"That's vodka. It's very high in alcohol, miss. You could get very drunk later." the bartender tried to make sense.
Kimberly was adamant. "No problem. Just give me a glass. I won't die if I drink it."
But the fact is, after drinking a glass of vodka, Kimberly again asked the bartender to refill hher glass. She kept sipping her drink. From time to time, Kimberly could be heard babbling, and occasionally she could hear her weeping. Until not long ago, a man who had been there for some time suddenly came over.
"For God's sake, Kimberly! Why are you like this?" cried the man. "This lady is too drunk. She has even finished 1 margarita plus 4 vodkas," joked the bartender accompanying Kimberly. He tried to explain.
The man sighed in disbelief. "What did you say? She drank too much?" The bartender nodded. "Not only that, she can even be heard crying once in a while and then laughing to himself. She's like someone heartbroken. You'd better take her home immediately before anything untoward happens." the bartender made a suggestion. Considering Kimberly's situation is so chaotic right now.

Loud knocks echoed throughout Nicholas's apartment. Whereas right next to the door, there is a bell to be pressed. For some reason, guests prefer to knock on the door repeatedly. Annoyed, Nicholas came out of his room, turned the door handle, and opened it.
"Sorry, Mister, someone is looking for you in the lobby. He said it's an emergency." Seeing the serious look on the receptionist's face, without saying much, Nicholas immediately left his apartment unit following the steps of the receptionist who had walked first to the lobby.
"Bastard, you. Nick! How could you ask the apartment to blacklist my name? You think I'm a terrorist, huh?" cried Edward. "You see, I can't take Kimberly directly to your unit because of your actions!" chattered the man again.
But Nicholas didn't care. He even ignored Edward's raving, who looked annoyed. His gaze locked on the woman Edward was carrying. "Why can Kimberly be with you?" he asked, confused.
"Don't tell me you didn't know that Kimberly went to the Bar tonight?"
Nicholas gasped at Edward's words. "What did you say? Kimberly went to the Bar? How come?"
Edward snorted in annoyance. He believed that his stupid friend didn't know that his fiancée had left without saying goodbye. "Let's talk about it later. Let's take Kimberly to your apartment first!"
Edward ordered. Without being told, Nicholas grabbed Kimberly's body and carried her. He was ignoring the gazes of those around him who were watching in bewilderment. Arriving at the apartment unit, Nicholas chose to lay Kimberly's body in his room after pulling Edward out for an explanation.
"Can you tell me what happened?" Edward chuckled. "It's hard to believe you didn't know your fiancée left the house. What's the real problem with you guys?"
Nicholas looked up. "I think what matters between Kimberly and me is none of your business." the man was still arrogant in front of Edward.
"Fine, it's your right not to tell me the chronology. But you should know, Kimberly drank a lot of alcoholic drinks tonight. She's messed up. The whole way home, she kept talking about your name. Sometimes she even heard crying hysterically. She looks like a lunatic tonight, Nick. !" there was a tinge of emotion in Edward's words. The man was angry and sad at what had happened to Kimberly now.
Nicholas took a deep breath.
"Kimberly is mad at me. She's mad because I don't want to touch her."
"Why? Because you still remember Briana?" Edward commented sourly. "When can you forget that woman? Do you think you still love her!"
"For God's sake, I don't love Briana anymore, Ed. I just wasn't ready for it yet." Nicholas lowered his face. He looks sad now.
Edward's eyes narrowed. "What about Love? Don't tell me you don't love Kimberly yet." Nicholas fell silent. Neither answered nor denied what Edward had accused him of. He seemed lost in his thoughts.
Nicholas doubted whether he loved Kimberly or not. "No need to answer!" Edward muttered then. "I can figure it out myself. You suck! Don't wait for Kimberly to leave, and you'll just regret your feelings. Don't let Kimberly's feelings shift to another man. You just realized with your feelings. Because when that happened, it was too late ."
Edward lightly patted Nicholas's shoulder and then walked away, leaving his friend who was standing still. After Edward's death, Nicholas followed Kimberly into her room. He was sitting right next to the woman lying down. His hand reached out to open Kimberly's clothes one by one. Not to do anything bold, he just wanted to help put on the nightgown he had prepared earlier.
"Nick, please..." Nicholas's hand stopped fitting Kimberly's nightgown. The woman deliriously called his name. "Nick, please..." repeatedly, Kimberly could hear those words chanting in her sleep. Tears even rolled down his cheeks.
Nicholas thought, how could Kimberly sleep crying like this. What pain and disappointment did he feel so deep? "Hey, I'm here. Why are you crying." Nicholas whispered in Kimberly's ear, and he then landed a kiss on Kimberly's cheek. Then he took her into his arms. I'm sorry, it Looks like I can only hurt you, Kimmy.
