Love You
Nicholas left the room and found Kimberly, not at his desk. He meant to take her to lunch with him. Trying to improve their relationship does not hang like it is now. But he seemed too late because what he was looking for had disappeared somewhere.
Curious, Nicholas tried to contact Kimberly's cellphone. But unfortunately, many times tried, the woman's number is not active. It crossed his mind that maybe Kimberly was in Alex and Keyra's room as usual. Nicholas walked confidently. But, when he followed him there, he still couldn't find Kimberly. Until he accidentally runs into Andrew, who is the supervisor of the financial division.
"Can I help you, Mister?" asked Andrew when he found Nicholas standing in front of the room. Nicholas turned his face away. "I'm looking for Kimberly. I have a schedule that I need to ask about immediately. I think she's here." the man lied on purpose. There was no way he thought to be honest with Andrew if he wanted to take Kimberly to lunch with him.
Andrew nodded in understanding. "If I'm not mistaken, Kimberly is having lunch with Alex and Keyra in the building's Cafeteria. If you want, I can help you follow them."
"Oh, there's no need," said Nicholas. "Let me go straight there. Thanks for the information." Nicholas then directed his feet to go to the Cafeteria immediately. By the time he got there, his net was busy investigating. Scanning one by one, the busy people gathered to eat lunch. He looked here and there until his eyes locked on the figure he was looking for. Nicholas walked quickly, approaching Kimberly, who was busy chatting with his friends. As Nicholas's position got closer, he could faintly hear them discussing the celebratory party that Andrew would hold tonight. However, that's not what makes his earshot.
Mike, one of the employees, is teasing Kimberly. The man deliberately invited Kimberly to go to a party together. Annoyed, Nicholas immediately interrupted Mike's words.
"No one can take Kimberly away without my permission."
Suddenly Nicholas's baritone voice startled those who were talking in the Cafeteria. Not only that, almost all the employees who were there looked in wonder at the athletic man. How could I not? As long as he served as CEO, this was the first time Nicholas set foot in the building's Cafeteria. All employees must have asked what caused him to bother setting his foot there.
"Mr. Nicholas..." said Michael, confused. Nervous, for Nicholas was glaring at her. Nicholas raised an eyebrow. The look of displeasure he clearly showed to Michael.
"No one can take Kimberly away without my permission first." Nicholas was silent for a moment, then looked around, then spoke again. "And to all of you who are here without exception, I don't want to see you flirt with Kimberly anymore. You should all know that she is my fiancé."
Kimberly's eyes were successful. She was staring in disbelief at Nicholas. She didn't expect the man to tell everyone about their status casually. The situation even suddenly became noisy. They pointed and whispered to Kimberly, who was sitting.
"Follow me right now!" Nicholas ordered. His tone, he didn't want to be denied this time. Still being dominant even though he knew the woman he had ordered was upset with him.
Kimberly, who didn't want to argue, chose to obey. He then got up and walked after Nicholas, who had stepped in first. "Wait for me!" Kimberly screamed as she grabbed Nicholas's wrist while walking towards the elevator.
Nicholas's steps stopped. "Especially?" Kimberly stepped forward, leveled her position, and entered the elevator booth together.
"You are crazy!" joking Kimberly. Nicholas turned. "Yeah, I'm crazy for you."
Kimmyan chuckled. "Why did you announce to everyone the status of our engagement?" Kimberly feels uncomfortable when everyone finds out about her status as a CEO's fiancé. Surely the other employees would over-treat him. Not to mention some employees don't like it.
"What are you asking for? So that everyone knows you're my fiancé. Until no one else dares to bother or tease you like that, I already told you. Without exception, I don't like my fiancé being close to any man. Besides, you should be proud that I announced it. To a wide audience. That means I acknowledge your existence," said Nicholas at length.
"You are crazy! Why is he angry? It's just not clear where his feelings for me are going."
Kimberly continued to stare intently at Nicholas. Sometimes he is also jealous. If it's love, what's so hard to say! Not being vague like this.
"Why look at me like that?"
Nicholas asked as he noticed Kimberly, who continued to stare at his face with disapproval. Kimberly shrugged her shoulders undramatically.
"You are the weirdest human being, Nick. You should know that I'm mad at you right now."
"In case you forgot, I already apologized this morning. And you asked me to forget everything. Then where did I go wrong?" Nicholas debates. Unbeknownst to Kimberly, the man smiled faintly. For him, it was better to argue this than to see Kimberly acting strangely like this morning.
"I even thought about ending our silly engagement. What's the point of continuing. You always annoy me. I'd rather be in a relationship with another man!" Kimberly threatened to make Nicholas flinch next to her.
When the elevator doors opened, Nicholas quickly pulled Kimberly into his office. The man deftly locked the door, ensuring no one would disturb him while having a serious conversation with Kimberly. "What did you say? Want to end our engagement?" inquired Nicholas. Kimmyanael nodded in agreement. "I even planned to leave your apartment."
Nicholas laughed loudly at Kimberly's words even though Kimberly spoke seriously. "Not going to be Kimberly Aurora. Step over my corpse first if you want to cancel our engagement." Nicholas didn't want the engagement to end. Even though his feelings are not clear, it is certainly not easy to find a replacement woman who already understands more or less all his habits so far. Not to mention that his parents are already in love with his partner this time.
Kimberly narrowed one eye. Annoyance was still etched on the woman's beautiful face. "Do I have to kill you first to get out of this obscure engagement?"
"Just kill me!" Nicholas answered quickly. If I die, I will continue to haunt you. Follows wherever you go. Even if you have a new lover one day, I will possess his body so that you inevitably end up keeping in touch with me!" Nicholas's threat, this time inevitably made Kimberly shudder in horror.
"You psycho!" Kimberly cursed loudly.

Nicholas held Kimberly intimately when they just got out of the car and started to enter HollyWings. An exclusive cafe is often used as a party venue and is located in the middle of the city. Of course, when they entered, all guests' eyes were on Nicholas and Kimberly. Almost all of them were amazed to see their appearance. the two of them are so harmonious tonight. "Kimberly ..." Keyra called when she saw Nicholas switch to greet business colleagues who were also present. Kyra and Alex quickly approached. "How does it feel to be Cinderella?"
Kimberly sighed softly. "I think the ice cube master has an unstable illness. I also didn't expect him to tell everyone that we were engaged." Keyra laughed. "You should be proud. Mr. Nicholas admits you are his fiancé. I think he doesn't like seeing you close with other men."
Alex and Kimberly nodded in unison. Besides, anyone would not like to see their partner close, let alone being teased by other people. After greeting Andrew and the other guests, Nicholas chose to bring Kimberly home immediately. The woman even wondered why they had to hurry.
Until when she got to the car, curious, Kimberly asked. "Why to go if you have to go home so soon," Kimberly protested.
Nicholas was silent. The man remained silent. He was focused on driving his car. Kimberly chuckled in annoyance when Nicholas's question was completely ignored. Until they arrived and entered the apartment unit, Nicholas finally spoke up. "I don't like seeing everyone staring at you like that. The adoring gaze that seems to wish to have you. Once again, I emphasize, I'm not the type of guy who likes to share. That's why I will never forgive you if I see you going out with another man without my permission one day."
As usual, Nicholas was sitting on the sofa when he answered Kimberly's previous question. Kimberly, who originally intended to enter the room, turned around. He then walked and followed. sat right next to Nicholas.
"What do you want? I don't even understand what you did to me. You don't love me, Nick."
Nicholas stared into Kimberly's brown bead. He didn't budge for a while then spoke again. "You're jumping to conclusions too quickly," Nicholas argued. "You're even disgusted to touch my body. Am I far from your taste, huh?" Kimberly said.
"You're wrong, Kimmy. It would help if you were happy until this moment I didn't touch you. If I'm an asshole, I've always fucked you." Nicholas said tenderly.
Kimberly sneered. "Nonsense! It's not that you, especially men of western descent, express their love by touching each other. I suspect you're gay!"
Nicholas laughed. At a serious time like this, Kimberly would always think of him as an abnormal man even though he'd been trying hard to stop himself from touching her.
"Not all men. Maybe I belong to the group that prefers to have sex after officially getting married. Again, it would help if you were glad I didn't demand you to do all that. You think it's easy to resist the temptation you've been aiming at me?" Kimberly's face lowered in shame. I was cursing her stupidity, accusing Nicholas of being unreasonable and thinking that love can be measured only by having sex.
"I love you, Kimberly. Love you very much," Nicholas said suddenly. It made Kimberly succeed in stunned. I was staring in disbelief at what he had just heard. Nicholas nodded. Then pulled Kimberly into his arms. "I'm not the type of guy who easily expresses my feelings. I'm not Jacob and Edward, who can easily show a romantic attitude to a couple. But what you need to know. I love you, and also ..."
"And what?" Kimberly asked quickly when Nicholas deliberately paused. "I love you, Kimberly Aurora."
