CHAPTER 65

THE UNEXPECTED THING

Anton was unable to speak again because of what she said. He doesn't know what to say even if there are a lot of things that he wants to say.

"I made a mistake marrying you. If I could turn back time, I would not marry you. I will not marry a man who can't move on. I'd rather stay single than loving a man who can't love me back. I just assumed a lot. I thought you f*cking loves me. I thought everything was true to you, I was wrong. I was really wrong….maybe that's why you have the courage to fool me.”

She wipes her tears away while laughing annoyed, while Anton couldn't look at her.

"I'm sorry. I am sorry if I came into your life, if I ruined your life. I'm sorry for breaking your heart. If I could turn back time, I would choose not to come into your life so that you are not hurt like this now. But I am thankful that in the little time we were together, we became happy. I will cherish it.”

Ariella looked away and turned to something else just to avoid looking at him. She feels that her tears are about to form so ahe does not look at Anton. She couldn't stop her tears from flowing and all she could do was wipe away every tear that flowed down her cheeks.

When she's a little calm, she looked at him...and saw his tears.

"This may be the last time you will see me. I have to separate myself from you. I hope it's already clear to you. I will talk to my lawyer about our annulment. After that, I hope someday, I know...I will heal."

She stood up after saying those, and wiped her cheeks. It's a little wet because of the tears.

She forced a smile while giving him a warm look.

"Thank you for everything, and I'm sorry for the things I didn't fill in for you," she said before she turned to leave. She just stood there for a few seconds, breathing heavily.

"One last favor, please," he weakly said.

"Go on," she replied.

"Can I hug you? and kiss? just for the last time.”

Ariella took a deep breath and just nodded. Now, she could feel that she's about to cry again but she tries to hold it back as long as she can.

Then, Anton approached her.

Even if she wants to avoid looking at him in the eye, she couldn't and that caused her tears to fall again but she immediately wiped it and tried to hold it back.

She could see his emotions and his teary eyes.

Then, he hugged her not so tightly.

She couldn't stop crying when Anton hugged her, but even though her tears were falling, she still tried to calm herself down.

She could hear him sniffling and knew he was crying.

"I have to go," she said, but it seems like he doesn't want to let go of Ariella yet, and he tightens the hug instead.

She closed her eyes tightly. She knows Anton doesn't want to let her go but he has to.

"I have to go, Anton," she weakly said.

After a few seconds, he left the hug. Before looking at her, he wiped his cheeks and eyes.

"Can I kiss you?" she asked.

She didn't say a word but just looked straight at him.

Anton came closer and closer to her, and slowly brought his face closer to hers.

She just let him kiss her but she didn't kiss back.

After that last and quick kiss, she left.

She left and walked away even though she didn't know where she would go. All she can do is to walk away from him.

She didn't know where her feet would take her. The burden on her chest became heavier and it seems to be drowning in sadness. She cannot understand and explain her feelings.

She doesn't know what to do now that they decided to end their relationship, now that she's pregnant. She's confused and stressed already.

She's thinking about what will happen to her and to her baby. She doesn't know how to raise a child without a father.

She really wanted to tell him about her pregnancy, but she chose not to. It would be better if he didn't know even though he has a right to know and he also has a right to their future child.

She knew it was wrong that she didn't tell Anton that she was pregnant. She knew that would be the only way to fix their relationship.

She also doesn't know how to tell her family about what happened to them. She knows what will happen. She knows her Dad will be very mad when he finds out what happened and she doesn't want him to hurt Anton again.

She's really confused and felt dizzy suddenly.

She stopped walking and she grabbed her head but she continued walking again and didn't care even if she suddenly felt dizzy until she suddenly lost consciousness.

She didn't even notice the blood leaking from her thighs.

A few minutes passed before anyone noticed her . She was immediately taken to the ambulance.

Anton just came out and Ariella caught his eye. He wondered why there was an ambulance and why she was taken there.

He felt so worried that he ran closer but the ambulance had already left.

He immediately got into his car and followed the ambulance.

He was so restless. He didn't know what happened. He was so worried.

No matter how brave he was, he still couldn't stop crying.

It took half an hour before the ambulance stopped. They immediately took her to the hospital.

She was admitted to the hospital before he could get out of the car.

He immediately entered the hospital and searched for her.

He was so restless that he looked at almost every ward before he went to the nurse station and asked.

"T-the girl who was just brought here. Where is she?” he asked and couldn't tell her in detail.
