Chapter 46
Chapter 46
The sky shifted in the night air. Even the light off the half moon and newly installed motion lights couldn’t shine through the shift. The shift alone almost caused unprecedented casualties as it drew the attention from the war to the sky above.
Timber and the Elder Petroff saw her. A feral sound echoed throughout the area as Timber growled loudly and with authority.
Shamira. She growled inwardly.
Elder Petroff’s appearance changed in his anger for what she did to his people during a senseless and sudden attack. His eyes turned dark as obsidian as his ears grew three times longer as did his teeth and nails. He let out his own battle cry that spread outward reaching for miles into the forests around them. No longer being able to control himself, his wings abruptly expanded from behind startling everyone near him at their intensity.
Never before had any other species seen such a display of feelings erupt from a Fae. Especially from their Elder. The sight of him caused everyone to cower backwards slightly as every supernatural rogue whimpered in pain from the sound that left his lips.
Shamira smirked, as she looked down at them from the air. Red energy surrounded her like a protective barrier, and she presented herself mockingly as if that barrier would and could keep her from all harm.
When Timber and Elder Petroff go to her? She was going to understand, she was sorely mistaken. Mistaken for thinking she could take over anyone’s lives. Mistaken for thinking she could terrorize those around her. Mistaken that she thought there would be no repercussions in her decisions.
Timber and Elder Petroff were going to make sure she knew exactly how mistaken she truly was.
Timber allowing the wind to carry her to the air she was met with Elder Petroff. His wing span was almost the length of the Dragon Shifters. It reached as far long and wide as two football fields. He was a sight to be seen, scary to anyone who had never seen it before. The Vampires in their red glowing eyes, extended fangs and nails didn’t compare to the appearance of an angry Fae.
“Well, well, well.” Shamira mocked. “You actually thought that soliciting the help of the Faes, Vampires, and Dragon Shifters you could beat me?” She scoffed laughing as she spoke. Her hands on her hips, only to gesture towards the Fae Elder when mentioning him.
A growl escaped Elder Petroff at the cockiness that radiated from her. Her aura was as dark as her smug soul. Not a single drip of light could be seen around or in her.
“Actually…” Timber started. “I didn’t ask for their help.” She smirked. “They showed up all on their own accord some time ago, since you decided to attack them without cause.” Karin, at the forefront, growled at her as she spoke.
Shamira’s eyes slanted at the comment before her body reacted to itself moving in an upward motion before red energy flew from her towards them. Timber’s eyes darkened seeing this and went to obstruct it with her own intertwined energies, when large wings got in her way.
Elder Petroff flew in front of her, blocking the attack with his own magic. His hands in front of him saying a few words. Suddenly, what looked like a blackhole formed in front of him pulling in everything she released.
Timber was shocked at first before moving a little higher, aiding him with her energy. As he pulled Shamira’s energy from her, Timber hit her with her own. The combined movements caused Shamira to fall from the sky hitting several trees on her way down.
Looking at each other, they nodded in respect and smiled.
A sound like a rushing wind came out from nowhere. Timber looking out towards the forest line saw the most amazing sight. Faes, Fairies, Whisps and Sprites swarmed the war sight from all directions. Timber looked back towards Elder Petroff in question. He only smirked, tilted his head sideways and shrugged before joining the fight below once again.
Following him, Timber only smiled, taking in a deep breath and went looking for where Shamira had landed.

Johnathon was fighting off supernatural rogues, still in Lycan form when he came eye to eye with Jonas.
Jonas smirked at him thinking he had the upper hand. He knew he was mated to another Royal Elder like himself, and had the same gifts as him. What Jonas didn’t take into consideration, something that only a few knew, was that Johnathon not only had the same increased strength, and agility, but he also had teleportation that he could do in any form, as well as persuasion.
Growling at the sight of him, his Lycan let out a howl liking the thought of being the one to dismember the evil and cruel King. Jonas teleported to him, hitting in the stomach just as he appeared with his claws out. Blood started to flow from the wound.
Without saying a word, he gave the equivalence of a smirk, looking down at the wound that was made before looking back at Jonas who stood mockingly, waiting for him to do something . His Lycan growled as he lunged at Jonas teeth barring sinking them into his shoulder.
Jonas growled back as they fought like rabid dogs. Disappearing and reappearing. Taking hit after hit. Bite after bite. Alpha Johnathon’s pure Lycan was strong, but so was Jonas and his wolf.
‘We need to freeze him.’ Bane growled in his mind.
‘Bane cannot freeze, remember? Only Timber can.’ I stated plainly as day.
A growl echoed from Jonas’ chest as he was thrown into a tree five feet away from him.
‘I know that idiot! But we can… persuade him to freeze.’ Bane reminded him that they could persuade others to do what they wanted.
‘Great idea.’ I replied back, smirking mentally.
‘Did you feel that?’ Johnathon questioned Bane.
‘Yes! It feels like our strength has been renewed!’ Bane howled as unprecedented energy took over his being making them stand taller.
Jonas got up from the ground as if he had not just been thrown into a tree at full force. He disappeared only to reappear next to the Alpha’s Lycan. After feeling like he had just slept for hours, he reached out and grabbed hold of Jonas’ neck with his large hand, lifting him off the ground, claws embedded into his neck.
Jonas was surprised that he was able to do that and couldn’t get himself free. Not being able to feel the ground, his eyes slanted in mock, even though fear started to seep through his pores. Blood flowing down his neck from the puncture.
Staring him right in the eyes, the Alpha’s Lycan growled. With his other hand, claws extended he plunged them into his chest raking his claws over his heart puncturing it deeply and roughly as he slowly retracted from him.
His eyes twinkled as he looked right into his desperate eyes.
“Your wolf will not be able to heal you. You will bleed continually until there is no blood left in your body. Your last breath will be painful as your heart slowly crumbles with each agonizingly painful pump it makes.” His words came out in a deep growl as he spoke his syllable of his persuasion into Jonas’ mind.
Jonas’ eyes widened in shock at what he had just done to him. Fear now evident on his face as the stench poured heavily from his body.
The Alpha’s Lycan just walked away from him, leaving him there to die as he continued to help his men fight.
~~~~~
Shamira had gotten up from hitting the tree. Her hatred fueled her to find Timber. She didn’t have to look hard as she saw her walking towards her. Unbeknownst to Shamira, Timber could create invisible force fields now that she had access to all of the elemental gifts.
A glint of evil flashed in her eyes as she strode towards her. Placing her hands in front of her, Shamira threw energy balls at Timber. Realizing they were being disintegrated before reaching her, Shamira’s eyes widened for a mere blink before slanting.
“Sooo. You have found the elemental stone.” Shamira spoke with venom. Smirking as she walked around Timber eyeing her devilishly.
“Let’s see what else you have been… gifted with… shall we?” Shamira said, taunting her.
“And you shall.” Timber growled back before disappearing, only to reappear next to Shamira lifting her off the ground by her neck. Her claws started to puncture the delicate skin that encased Shamira’s body.
“Is that really all you can do? Pathetic.” she spat out in a breathy whisper as Timber squeezed her windpipe. Blood oozed from her neck as she did. A mocking glint sparkled in Timber’s eye.
Shamira closed her eyes, disappearing from her grasp. Turning around, Timber hit her with an energy ball causing Shamira to hit the ground and growled in pain.
She started to teleport again when Timber refused to allow her by reaching out her hand saying, “no more teleporting.”
“WHAT!?” Shamira yelled in confusion. Not only did Timber stop her from teleporting at the moment, but Shamira also found she could non longer teleport at all. Eyes darkening at the revelation, the red energy engulfed her furious rage.
With eyes burning a deep crimson, Shamira lunged at her while growling menacingly. Timber suspended her in mid-air in an attack position. Fear was evident in her eyes as she could no longer move.
“Now. How about we move to someplace… a little quieter, uh?” Timber spoke calmly and with confidence as she touched Shamira disappearing with her to a more solitude place for a small chat.
~~~~~
Elder Petroff didn’t see where Timber had gone off to, but he knew she could handle her own after witnessing her strip Shamira of her teleporting gift. A small smirk crept its way on his face before turning to rip apart a rogue with his claws.
He hated transforming into what he called an evil Fae, but he felt he had no choice at the time. His people were fighting valiantly for their kingdom and all supernaturals. Calling the others was a benefit for all of them as they had their own special way of combat fighting.
They continued fighting as the enemy's numbers started dwindling. Petroff could see tired supernaturals everywhere. Flaring his wings widely, he took to the skies so he could see the whole territory.
He watched as the Apha’s Lycan fought with the Lycan King.
He saw the Beta, fighting off Vampires and wolves with Head Mistress Layana.
He saw the Dragons using their breath and fighting skills to their fullest.
He could also see the draining of their auras. Their tiredness even though they fought as if they had all the energy they needed.
Compassion fell over him at the sight. Speaking a chant, he lifted his arms and wings wider as he floated in the air high above. Taking an extremely deep breath, he held it for just a moment before releasing it over the entire area, directing it to his allies.
After every little bit of air left his mouth, he held himself there watching as each supernatural’s auras he touched deepened with strength. Smiling to himself he dove back to the ground to fight some more.
~~~~~
Andrew and Layana were fighting off Vampires as they looked up and saw hundreds of the Fae Kingdom’s people move across the sky. Excitement took over a fear that wanted to penetrate their souls as they watched them kill and mutilate rogue supernaturals around them.
Just as their bodies started to feel the wear and tear of the endless fighting they showed up. An energy surge moved through them shortly after they arrived. Feeling their strength being renewed, pushing them into the mass of what seemed like an unending battle. Rusty looked towards Layana in question. She only shrugged as if to say it wasn’t her.
A renewed hope moved through the land as every shifter and vampire felt rejuvenated by the unknown energy. Tearing into one abominable creature after another. A new sense of victory plagued everyone's mind.
