Derek Pov

Even though she didn't want to look at me, I could still feel her eyes on me. She was completely fictitious on much. She looked like she was in a trance. How cute. Her blue eyes followed my every move. I had to smile at the thought.

She's just perfect. What did I do to deserve her? Why me? She could have had so many better ones but got me instead. I just didn't get it. Everyone wants her, but she's only mine. Sometimes destiny just stays a mystery. Oh well. Not just sometimes. Actually always. I just didn't understand anything. Everything always came unexpected to me. No matter what I thought about, it always turned out differently. Even with Kim. Whenever I think I've seen through them and solved their secrets, something new comes up and confuses me again. Will I ever know everything about her? Or will it always remain a mystery to me? And again something I didn't understand.

"Concentrate, Derek." Cole pulled me back to reality. I looked at him confused at first, but finally nodded and turned back to him.

A strange smell filled my nostrils. Well, not entirely foreign. Kim had it on yesterday. My wolf growled and stopped training. I looked at the edge of the forest.

"Derek." came a very familiar voice.

Kims Pov

I stood by Chloé and cheered for Sina. Chloé fired maddy. justice must be. If so then already. Or? equality for all. I laughed again. After a day, it felt like forever.

"Derek." my body spasmed. My blood rushes in. Goosebumps came over my body. The color flashed off my face, leaving only pale skin. My hands started shaking. My ice baleun eyes were wide open. I was frozen. Panic rose up in me. My heart stopped beating briefly, so that shortly after it could beat at three times the speed. How? How had he found me again? Why did he have to come now? Couldn't he have come in a few days? I still couldn't tell Derek everything. I just always wait too long.

"Ryder. What gives me the honor?" came derek's voice. She sounded anything but polite. Rather contemptuous or annoyed. I turned around. Ryder stood casually at the edge of the forest with a grin on his face. He always had something to smile about. Behind him six other guys. Or better called muscle packs. Derek didn't stand a chance. Shit. What am I supposed to do? Why does fate always have to be so shitty? My hands started sweating. How long have I been afraid of this moment. I didn't want Derek to find out everything like this. I wanted to calmly explain it to him and say goodbye to him and not just be torn away from him. But another question came to me. How did the two know each other? After all, Derek knew Ryder's name, but from where?

Ryder kam ein paar Schritte näher zu Derek.Derek spannte sich an und sah in mit einem gemischten Blick zwischen emotionslos und finster an. Wie auch immer das möglich war. Ich sah zwischen beiden hin und her. Derek war angespannt und sah kampfbereit aus. Im Gegensatz zu Ryder. Dieser spand immernoch lässig mit seinem triumphierend grinsen im Gesicht auf der Lichtung. Mittlerweile hatten auch die anderen die Situation erkannt. Alle spannten sich an und sahen die hinter Ryder knurrend mit dunklen Augen an. Was war hier los? Kannten sie sich alle, oder was?

I decided to go to Derek. After all, I wanted him to at least know I was on his side. Even if Ryder wouldn't be happy. I slowly walked towards Derek. Ryder had his eyes on me now and grinned triumphantly at me. But kind of tense. Like he doesn't want me to go see Derek. Bad luck. I will always reach out to Derek, even when it seemed impossible.

"Well, how shall I put it. You have something that belongs to me." Ryder said, still grinning. Well wait you bastart. I didn't belong to anyone. Just myself. And if I did, I just wanted to belong to Derek, but I couldn't say that. I had to protect Derek. Nothing was allowed to happen to Derek.

"What, please?" Derek asked confused. We were only a few meters apart. With every step my heart beat faster. With every step I got more nervous. With every step I got more scared for Derek. I was afraid Ryder might hurt him. Because I believed Ryder to be capable of anything. He disgusted me and was one of the least that scared me.

"She." Ryder said with a grin under his breath, snapping me back to reality. A meter separated me from Derek. All eyes were on me. My heart jumped and I elated in my movements. Derek looked at me in shock, but immediately tensed up. Everything in him tensed. More than I've ever seen. All his anger flickered in his eyes. Wow. I had never seen him so angry. And I never wanted to see him that angry.

"Cut your stupid jokes and hiss away." Derek hissed and now stood in front of me. he protect me But he wasn't allowed to. Ryder would hurt or even kill him. I couldn't risk that. I tried to push myself in front of him, but every time he pushed me back behind him.

"Do you really think she needs protection? Well, in my opinion, Kim is more than good at defending herself." laughed Ryder.

"I don't understand what you're getting at." said Derek confused. How could Ryder? Why did he just have to tell Derek? Now Derek would loathe me. He'll be disappointed and never want to see me again. How could I even hide that from him? I didn't deserve it.

"You didn't tell him Kim." his voice sounded contemptuous. By now I was feeling a lot of guilt. How could Derek cheat like that? I wouldn't be at all surprised if Derek despised me now. After all, it would be my own fault. my fault Everything here was my fault. my fault...

"What does he mean Kim?" Derek asked turning to me. Shit. Now I was screwed...
