###Chapter 527 Divorce Certificate – Part 6
Inside the conference room, Linda was already explaining the process and points for the attention of the project. People from the Astley Group on the other hand explained the cooperation and support that they would need from William's group in the implementation process.
As the person in charge of the whole project, Ivelle Astley naturally had to take into account all the safety details and precautions the Astley Group's staff must consider during the implementation process. She also had to take note of any other issues and concerns that may arise in the cooperation.
After all the presentations were done and the respective contracts had been signed, the construction project would be starting at their chosen date. And it would require that point persons from both sides be present for supervision.
After the contract was signed and the deal was closed, Linda looked at Ivelle and worriedly asked, "Didn't you put ointment on your hands?"
Ivelle shook her head and replied, "I'll just go out and buy it later. There was no burnt ointment available in the company."
Linda scolded her, "You are a woman, so you must take care of your skin. If these scalds leave scars on your skin, it will be very difficult for you to get rid of it later."
Ivelle smiled and hugged the contracts in her hands as she said, "I'll pay attention to these. By the way, does this dress that I am wearing belong to you? It looks familiar to me."
Linda looked at it and she couldn't help but say, "Is that the one you wore when you came back from Venezuela?"
Ivelle was dumbfounded for a moment after hearing Linda's remark. When she saw that both Jordan Astley and William Preston were watching them, she frowned and looked down at her clothes sheepishly.
She could remember, but it was still a little different. At that time in Western Europe, William probably didn't buy clothes for his girls, so he bought clothes for his staff including her. The style was somewhat similar, but she still thought there was something different.
She could remember her own clothes. Although it somewhat looked the same, there was still something different in it. Among the four of them, Ivelle knew that only Grace Cross had the same figure and body built like her.
She thought to herself, 'So, this dress is Grace's?' Ivelle couldn't help but look at William. She felt it was a little strange. She was asking in her mind, 'Why are Grace's clothes here with him?'
When William saw that she was looking at him, he coughed and said, "It's noon. Let's have dinner together."
William did that to hide his embarrassment. It seemed that he and Grace were making much faster progress.
Director Kent smiled and said, "William, that would be interesting."
What she said meant something.
Meanwhile, Jordan's expression was cold and his dark eyes fell on Ivelle. And Ivelle knew him so well. At that moment, he was holding back his anger.
When they all left the conference room together, Linda was a little confused. She leaned against Ivelle's ear and whispered, "What's going on?"
Ivelle exclaimed, "The clothes I am wearing belongs to Grace!" And as Ivelle said this, she had a headache.
Linda smiled and said, "These two are really fast. But I'm asking about you and Jordan. What's going on? Didn't Grace say you were husband and wife? Why does he have a beautiful woman around him?"
Ivelle shrugged and replied, "I don't know. But I do not care anymore. I guess when this project is done, I will go to Hempstead with him and get the divorce certificate."
Linda was stunned for a moment. She didn't know what to say.
Suddenly, Director Kent's voice sounded, "Oh, dear!"
She seemed to have sprained her ankle and limped before she got into the elevator.
As they heard the noise, the people in front of them looked back and asked, "What's the matter?"
Director Kent was a little pitiful when she said, "I'm really sorry. I sprained my foot yesterday. I couldn't walk very well. Now, I just sprained it again. It hurts a little bit."
Linda looked at this and said with a tut, "It's probably going to swell soon."
Ivelle was shocked for a moment. She looked at Linda and asked, "Didn't she twist her ankle?"
Linda nodded and smiled. She told Ivelle, "It's because I twisted my foot that I have a chance to be special. Now you'll see."
Jordan frowned slightly and looked at Felix Stewart. He ordered him, "Go and help Miss Kent."
Felix nodded and assisted Director Kent to walk to the front of the elevator. But when he saw the already crowded elevator, he frowned.
William told him, "Felix, you can assist Miss Kent to get into the special elevator later."
Felix was stupefied and looked at Jordan. But he saw that Jordan did not open his mouth, so he smiled and refused.
But William said with a deep smile, "Miss Kent sprained her foot in my company. I am more or less responsible. And occasionally, I can use the privilege."
Jordan spoke in a low and introverted voice, "If it's convenient to take care of Miss Kent, then go."
Felix nodded and entered the special elevator.
Jordan stood at the door of the elevator without any movement. But William was a little puzzled so he asked, "Boss Jordan, who is this?"
Jordan answered faintly, "I'll get off this way." Then he went directly into the staff elevator with Ivelle and the others.
Because it was already mealtime, there were already many people in the elevator. Naturally, his slender figure and handsome face attracted special attention.
Linda was stunned for a while and asked, "What is this President doing here?"
The special elevator was not small, and it was enough for him to still get on it.
Of course, Ivelle didn't know what he was going to do. But since he came in, she simply chose to respond in silence.
The elevator stopped several times, and many people came in and out of the elevator. Because of the constricted space, Jordan was squeezed in front of Ivelle while she was squeezed in the corner.
At that point, Jordan faced her and got very close. And he protected her from the embarrassment of being crowded in a cramped space.
Yesterday, she had said nothing but cruel words to him. Now, she was more embarrassed. She bowed her head, raised her hand, and pulled away from him. But his face was expressionless and his black eyes faintly looked at Ivelle. He did not care about my movements.
Jordan paused for a moment and looked at her red-hot wrist. Then, he frowned slightly but said nothing more.
The elevator stopped for a moment and people from another floor came in. Soon the elevator was almost full.
Because of the limited space in the elevator and the volume of people that came in, Jordan was accidentally pushed by the person behind him, and his body got wedged into Ivelle. She pursed her lips and did not open her mouth.
But it was obvious that his heartbeat was beating a little wildly. He folded his lips and his eyes fell on Ivelle's face. His voice was low and the pressure in it was a little low when he told her, "We'll be there in a minute!"
It was a light sentence, but it helped make Ivelle feel more at ease, knowing that they would be there soon.
When they got out of the elevator, William, Director Kent, and Felix were already waiting at the door.
Jordan walked in front of Ivelle and Linda followed right behind her. Just then, Linda tugged at her arm vaguely and whispered, "I just saw it. You were almost embracing each other."
Ivelle blushed a little and said, "Don't talk nonsense!" Then she quickened her pace and left Linda behind.
Linda followed Ivelle and teased her more.
They all went to the restaurant together and waited at the door of the restaurant. Ivelle didn't know what Jordan told Felix, but she saw that Felix immediately left.
The two staff members who followed Director Kent saw that her foot got worse so one of them asked, "Director Kent, would you want me to buy some medicine for you and apply it to your foot?"
She replied, "No, it's all right. I'll get over it in a minute. It's no big deal!" Then she smiled gently and beautifully after saying this. The two staff felt more compelled to buy her medicine.
Soon, one of them stood and volunteered, "Boss Jordan, I'll go out first to buy it."
But Jordan spoke with an expression of indifference, "No. Felix already went to buy it!"
The two volunteers were a little embarrassed. But they also took a particularly ambiguous look at each other. As adults, they knew so no one said much for a while.
