###Chapter 615 Who Wants It But Not – Part 9
Lying in the hospital bed, Ivelle could not fall asleep for a moment. She waited for the medication to finish and the nurse pulled out the needle before she got out of bed and walked around.
She did not know where Jordan went. She thought she would go to see Aaron. She asked about where his room was at the nurse's station. There was a nurse in the ward. When he saw me, the nurse smiled and said hello.
Aaron had not yet passed the anesthetic stage and did not wake up yet. He was hit on his head so it was covered with a quilt. She could not see the injury and she could not help but look to the nurse and asked, "How is his condition?"
The nurse said, "The doctor came just now and said that he had been hit on his head. At present, he was not sure if he had a concussion. His right rib was pierced by an iron pipe. Fortunately, he avoided the vital point but his injury was not serious. He may have to be hospitalized for some time. In addition, all of the other damages he had were skin injuries. It's no big deal."
His ribs were stabbed by a steel pipe and her body was shaken remembering how the blood on her body came from, and her hands and feet trembled for a moment.
Ivelle walked around the hospital bed and sat down. She did not know what to say for a moment. If it weren't for him, she was afraid that the person who had been pierced would be her. Her life was already fragile. In this short half of her life, he saved Ivelle twice. She almost lost her life the second time.
Aaron risked his life so how could she say that she was not worried if she was really worried?
"Miss Weld, go back and have a rest. I'll take care of Mr. Badger. Don't worry!" The nurse looked at and assured her.
She shook her head slightly and said, "I'm fine. I can't rest even if I go back now. I might as well stay here. It doesn't matter. You don't have to worry about me."
When the nurse saw that she did not have plans to move a muscle, she stopped talking to her for a moment.
Ivelle wanted to stay but there were no seats outside the room where Aaron was, so she remained standing. The nurse turned to her and said, "Miss Weld, I will go for a walk outside. Just call me if you need anything later."
She nodded and paused. Ivelle asked, "May I know your name, please?"
The nurse smiled and said, "You can call me Nurse Serene!"
Ivelle nodded and smiled. "Okay, I'll call you Serene!"
"All right, as long as it's comfortable for you!"
When she saw the nurse left, Ivelle looked at Aaron with some mind-wandering. Her heart could not say the taste of people were flesh, say not moved, how was it possible?
All these years, she seemed to have been hiding and carefully avoiding Astley, Aaron, and Liam. It seemed that as long as she found that they were a little good to her, she could not bear their kindness and could not serve well so she would stay away from them.
She was even timid and afraid. She wanted to try her best to push Jordan away. She always found any bad point in the details of her life to prove that they did not love her. They haunted her because she was valuable and useful. Ivelle did not know why but she did not believe in love so much. she did not believe that anyone would really love her. But every time they either used their own actions or lives to prove that they love her, she did not have any sense of security and she did not know whether this was the inferiority complex in their bones to let her do this or most of the girls did.
That night, Ivelle stayed beside Aaron, and Serene came in midway. The nurse advised her to go back and have a rest, but she refused so she had no choice but to let Ivelle.
The next day, the sun fell through the window into the ward which seemed to give new life like a rebirth. Aaron woke up and looked at Ivelle. He seemed to see her safe and sound so he said with a smile, "I'm glad you're okay!"
Ivelle could not help it for a moment and all her emotions turned into tears. She cried until she choked up. She took him by the hand and said in an intermittent voice, "Don't ever do it again! Well, if something really happens to you, what am I supposed to tell Jane? You have children and a wife. How could you be so stupid!"
He smiled and raised his. Aaron rubbed her hair and said helplessly, "Silly girl! What's in your bones where I can control? It's my initiative to protect the people I want to protect!"
It took her a long time to calm down.
The doctor came to see Ivelle and said that when she woke up, it would be all right and she just needed to have a good rest.
She did not sleep that much all night, plus her menstruation, she felt exhausted. Seeing Aaron woke up, she could not help but let go of the worry and felt tired and sleepy afterward.
When the nurse noticed that she had a pair of panda eyes, Serene said helplessly, "Miss Weld, you can go back and have a good sleep. You can leave Mr. Badger on me!"
She nodded and left Aaron to her. She went straight downstairs to go back to the villa and have her rest there.
On the hospital lobby, a black Bentley was parked by the side of the road and its window was rolled down. Felix looked at her and said, "Ma'am, let me take you home."
Ivelle was stupefied. She could not help wondering why he happened to be there.
Thinking about whether Jordan was in the car, she could not help but wonder if she was in a hurry to get on the bus or not. Felix seemed to see through what Ivelle was thinking so he said, "Ma'am, Mr. Astley has just left."
She was a little embarrassed so she raised her hand and touched her nose. She got into the car with a heavy feeling and disappointment in her heart.
Felix started the car. Ivelle hesitated at first but later on asked, "Have you been in the hospital the whole time?"
He glanced at her and said, "Not only I was here, but also Mr. Astley. He stayed here and looked at his cell phone all night."
Ivelle was stunned for a moment then pursed her lips and said, "I-"
"Madam, you are worried about Mr. Badger and Mr. Astley understands, but you didn't go back to the ward or the villa last night. I think as his wife, you should at least call Mr. Astley even to report that you are safe. If you didn't do anything like this, it kind of chills his heart!"
Felix's words, again and again, struck her like a ruthless and real knife straight into her heart.
Ivelle pursed her lips and looked at the scenery flashing outside the window. She could not tell what it was like.
So far, he said nothing more and after he sent her back to the villa, he had something to attend to so he went.
She stayed up all night and late and was frightened. The pain in her lower abdomen seemed to last all the time, especially this time when she went back to the bedroom, she laid on the bed ready to sleep for a while but because of the pain in her abdomen, she always slept uncomfortably.
Ivelle had to get up and look around the room and found that there was no painkiller. Finally, she had to order takeout online to deliver the medicine to her door. She did not sleep comfortably and had severe pain in her belly, so she had to get up and look around the room and find that there was no medicine for the pain to relieve.
After taking the medicine and relieving some pain, she wanted to go back to sleep for a while but she could not fall asleep. Ivelle looked at the time and saw that it was already six o'clock in the evening. She thought Jordan should also be back at that kind of hour.
Even so, she went into the kitchen and looked around in the fridge. There were still some dishes there. She thought she could cook a few dishes so that when Jordan came back, she would apologize to him and admit her mistake.
In September, the temperature of the water was not very low but it was still a little cold. After washing the dishes and stir-frying, it was already seven o'clock, and there was no movement outside.
