###Chapter 8 Take Care Of Nicole

Aunt Laura snorted and said sarcastically, "That is a white-eyed wolf who has blinded his father's mind all these years."

"Don't say those words!" Uncle Hector glared at her and looked at Ivelle helplessly. "It's getting late and grandfather is at peace. Go back early!"

"Well! Thank you, uncle." Uncle Hector and Aunt Laura have passed half a century but they had no heirs. They were living a peaceful life with shares in Astley's family.

Although Aunt Laura had a bitter mouth, she was not bad at heart and the life of the couple has become the envy of many people.

As she watched them go far away, Ivelle stood in front of her grandfather's tombstone, somewhat distracted. With the departure of their grandfather, she was afraid that her fate with Jordan has come to an end.

The wind would stop, the rain would dry, the sun would set and she would lose him eventually.

"Take care, Grandpa. I'll see you later." She stood in front of the tombstone and bowed deeply. As soon as she turned away, she froze.

When did Jordan come here?

He was dressed in black, his face was low and cold, his slender body stood not far behind me and his black eyes fell bottomless on Don's tombstone. She was not able to detect any emotion in him.

When he saw Ivelle looking at him, he looked at her and his voice was low and introverted. "Let's go!"

Was he here to pick her up?

When she saw that he turned to leave, she hurriedly stopped him. "Jordan, Grandpa is gone, you should pay your respects, you know, he has loved you too much over the years."

She saw that his eyes were getting colder and colder as he stared at her. Ivelle stopped talking and was at a loss for a moment.

She thought he would be furious but he just left without saying a word.

Then he went out of the graveyard and it was getting dark. The driver who was about to pick her up had already left ahead of time because Jordan had come.

She could only go back with Jordan and got in the car. He started the car and it was dreadfully quiet all the way. Ivelle pinched her fingers and tried to ask about Nicole again and again, but every time she would see his gloomy face, she would swallow the words back.

For a long time, she finally asked, "How's Miss Blakeley?"

The car suddenly stopped but the speed was too fast, with the inertia, her body leaned forward. Jordan did not wait for her to react, he violently pressed against her, she sat back, Jordan's half of the body was pressed over.

His black eyes stared at her, his pupils were sharp and cold, and he smelled danger. She shrank back and opened her mouth to say, "Jordan."

"What do you want from her?" He spoke coldly. His voice was sarcastic, "Ivelle, you don't really think that because the old man gave you that box, so I won't divorce you, do you?"

Her heart thumped, he was really omnipotent, only a few hours later, he knew.

"I didn't push her." Ivelle held down the bitterness in her heart, she wanted to laugh at his black eyes. "Jordan, I don't know what's in the box your grandfather gave me and I didn't want to use it to maintain our marriage, because you want to leave so much. Good! I agree. Tomorrow we will go to the Civil Affairs Bureau to get the divorce certificate."

The sky has completely darkened and the wind outside the window, accompanied by the patter of Rain Water, slapped on the window. It made the already low atmosphere more silent and colder.

Ivelle suddenly agreed to divorce, which seemed to surprise Jordan, but for a moment, he raised his thin lips and sneered, "Nicole is still lying in the hospital. Are you going to leave now that you agree to divorce?"

"What do you want me to do?" He wouldn't let her go easily.

"From tomorrow, you take care of her." He sat up straight, his long fingers on the steering wheel, and his eyes became a little deep.
