I watched as Doctor Kedeva panicked over the appearance of my beta, Steven. I don't know why, but since I met Kedeva, he has been telling me that he doesn't trust Kelvin, which is kind of ridiculous to me.

If he wasn't trustworthy, I would have known because he has been my beta for almost six years now. He hasn't given me a reason not to trust him yet. He is the most honest person I have ever met.

I didn't plan to come with him to this secret restaurant, and honestly, I wasn't aware that he had followed me. His appearance had been a little shocking to me too, but I was quick

to replace the shock with a smirk instead.

I glared at Steven as a way of telling him that we would talk later and returned my gaze to the fuming Kedeva.

''What is he doing here? You set me up, didn't you?'' He lifted his arm and stretched his index finger toward me, his gaze fixed on my face as if to see any traces of lies.

I chuckled and sat back on my chair because I stood when Kelvin walked in. "Come on, Kedeva. Sit." I asked him while pressing my lips together to suppress the laughter. I could see beads of sweat on his forehead already.

"I told you that I don't trust this guy. I don't like his aura or the air that is always around him. Trust me, he'll be the end of you. He sat back and half-yelled and half-whispered to me.

I watched as my beta walked past me to the counter. One of the waitresses winked at him, and he didn't hesitate. He practically jumped over the counter and swung his legs down on the other side, where the bitch was standing, and pulled her into a kiss.

I chuckled and tore my gaze from him. "He can't. Trust me." I told Kedeva the same thing I had been telling him for years.

"Never say that I didn't warn you, he said seriously, his hands gripping the edge of the table.

"You want to eat something? I asked while signaling the other waitress, who was already drooling over what my beta was doing to her fellow. Kelvin had bent the waitress over the counter and was fucking the hell out of her.

The small restaurant was now full of moans and groans, but so far, the other two waiters, I and Kedeva, weren't affected by that yet. It has always been that way for Kelvin. He fucks anyone coming his way as long as they have boobs and pussies.

"I don't want anything. I've eaten more than my stomach can take. He responded grumpily and then rolled his eyes in annoyance. I chuckled and snapped my fingers at the waitress, who was now sitting on the counter, her legs wide open as she played with herself.

A droll was dripping down from both corners of her lips as she thrust her fingers into her wet cunt.

"What the fuck? I cursed and nodded at the two waiters, who were busy having their own conversations while looking at me and Kedeva. Knowing what I wanted, they rushed toward my table.

"Bring for me whatever this little guy over here ordered.'' I nodded toward Kedeva, who lifted his middle finger toward me.

Sure, Alpha Maseno. They both bowed and returned to the kitchen. After a short while, one of them returned with a plate of fried chicken. "So this is what you ate. Mmh, not bad. I took a mouthful of the chicken meat and marveled at its heavenly taste.

"You are wasting my time, Alpha Benna. They'll start questioning me when they don't find me in my room, he said instead, and I knew he was referring to Alpha Maseno and his beta Sony.

"I know, but can't you wait? I am hungry. Besides, what will they be doing in your room at this hour? I asked him while wiping my mouth with a hand towel.

"I am the pack doctor, for fucks sake. Anything can happen, and I'll be the first one they need help from. He snapped back at him angrily.

"Maria is there. She'll handle everything. I said while watching as his lips pressed in anger. There was no one I loved getting in their heads like Dr. Kedeva.

"Maria has someone to take care of, he said while looking me in the eye.

"Who?" I wanted to know, so I inquired.

"Who else if not K...? He trailed off, gasped, and then bit his lower lip as if he were forbidden from mentioning that person's name.

"Who?" I asked once again, pushing the plate of chicken away. "Who Kedeva?" I growled at him. Anytime he bit his lower lip, it meant one thing. There was something or someone important in Alpha Maseno's kingdom that he didn't want me to know about.

"Uh-nothing." He chuckled nervously and scratched the back of his head. "Why did you call me here, Alpha Benna? He purportedly asked, wanting to change the topic.

"Yezus is in Alpha Maseno's kingdom, right? I asked while watching his facial expression. He looked at me in shock but pulled himself back.

"Au-no, why would you think such a thing? He scratched the back of his head once again. "Besides, why would Alpha Maseno want to keep her?"

"Because he knows that having Yezus means the end of me. She knows every fucking thing about me! I snapped at him. "I am asking you for the last time, Kedeva: Is Yezus in Alpha Maseno's hands?"

He looked me in the eye, and silence filled the room around us. The air had turned serious too. "No," he said, to my displeasure.

I nodded and then told him. "You should know that you aren't the only spy I have in Alpha Maseno's kingdom, so in case I find out from the other one that you lied to me, you know what I'll do. I let a warning growl press into my voice.

Fear gripped him. I know because I saw beads of sweat form on his forehead again. He shuffled his feet on the ground, and then after some time he responded, You can ask whoever you have planted in the kingdom as my sub because I am sure they'll give you the same response."

I nodded but made a mental note to myself that I'd need to keep him under check. I don't know, but the moment I walked in, I sensed that he was kind of nervous and hesitant. He was telling me that my beta, Steven, would be the end of me, but what I know is that if I don't have him followed, he'll be the end of me.

"I hope so. I responded while going back to my plate of now-cold meat.

"Can I go now?" he asked while rising from his chair.

"Not so soon. You haven't told me who Maria is taking care of.'' I stopped him.
