Chapter 2
Chapter 2
In the Principal’s office of Sword Fein Academy, a mature looking elf with dark brown skin, white hair, and purple eyes sat with her legs resting on the table.
Infront of her were multiple holographic screens made of magic showing live footage of every single student in the Academy.
“Haaaaaaaaah ~ Nothing brings greater joy to the soul than the sight of children using swords.”
As the principal was indulging in her daily dose of something that’s just a few steps away from being voyeurism, she noticed a screen in the corner of her eye showing the entrance to the Academy.
Through that screen she saw a girl with red and gold hair carrying a black sword in her right hand and an unconscious girl in the Academy’s uniform over her left shoulder.
Upon closer inspection the unconscious girl was that shut-in saintess who’s been in her room since the day she enrolled last month.
Despite her personality, that saintess is probably the second strongest student in her year and considering the fact that the current hero and the demon lord’s youngest daughter are both also in her year, that says a lot about her strength.
“So how did someone like her end up unconscious like that I wonder?~”
After saying that, the principal vanished from her office and instantly appeared before the 2 girls.
“Did you knock her unconscious?”
“She was trying to rob me”
“So that’s a yes?”
“…”
“Would you like to attend this Academy?”
“Just like that?”
“It’d be a waste not to enrol someone who can knock out the saintess”
“…”
The principal snapped her fingers and a desk with a few documents on it appeared.
“You only need to sign the one at the top to officially become a student.
The others are a list of all the classes you can sign up for.
You can look through them later and get them back to me before the sun rises tomorrow.”
The principal pointed to a building floating to the left at the top of the Academy.
“That’s my office.
I’m the principal of this Academy if you hadn’t figured it out yet.
My name is Ashley D Karma.
What’s yours?”
The girl signed her name on the document at the top then handed it to the principal.
On the document where the name should be, read: “Kurai Akakiri”
“So, you’re a daughter of one of the 4 grand dukes huh?”
“I guess”
“Well, you aren’t the first high ranking noble’s kid who came to this Academy, and I doubt you’ll be the last.
The dorms are that way. Just take that saintess with you on your way.
You’ll be staying in the same room as her, it’s a four-person room, but it was short one student.
The room number is 66”
The principal snapped her fingers again and five sets of uniforms appeared
“Here you g-”
“Pants”
“huh”
“Change the skirts to pants.”
Sigh
“You’re the second one this year to ask for that.
The other person coincidently is also one of your roommates”
The principal snapped her fingers once again and all five of the skirts were replaced with pants.
“Here you go.”
“Thanks”
===
After putting the uniforms, documents and my sword in my storage ring I started walking towards the dorms with this so called saintess still over my shoulder.
This time I decided to walk instead of running there instantly.
After a few minutes I arrived on the third floor of the dorm Infront of the room with the door marked 66.
I knocked on the door, waited for five seconds and received no answer, so I just grabbed the handle and tried to open the door, but it remained locked.
“Oh, I forgot to give you this.”
After appearing out of nowhere for the second time and saying that, the principal handed me a key.
“Since classes are still in session, there’s hardly anyone in the dorms right now.”
After that she vanished again.
I opened the door with the key she gave me, went inside and locked the door again.
Inside the room were 4 beds at each corner of the room with a closet and table beside each of them.
There was also a bigger table at the centre of the room.
Among the four beds only one of them was completely empty, so I guess that one’s mine.
There was a bed with empty wine bottles underneath, so I tossed the saintess girl on top of it.
I opened the closet beside the empty bed.
Inside were a bunch of sheets and pillows.
After covering the empty bed with a black sheet, I flopped down on it and fell asleep within seconds.
===
Walking down the hallway towards room 66 was a girl with orange hair and green eyes wearing the Sword Fein Academy uniform which usual consists of a blue dress shirt, white sneakers, black blazer, tie and pants for boys, skirts for girls.
But this girl was wearing the pants.
She was the other roommate the principal was referring to.
Zary, the current Hero.
(It’s been hours since Sena went out, she must be back by now.)
After thinking that, Zary opened the door and went inside.
She saw two people sleeping with their arms and legs spread across their beds.
One was Sena, the other was an unfamiliar red-haired girl with her left fingers scratching her abbs peeking through her partially rolled up shirt.
(If this person managed to get into this room, Sena either let her in or she has her own key, and if she has her own key, she must be a new student.)
Zary decided to just ask her, so she tried to wake her up,……………….and completely failed.
She was out cold.
Sigh
===
By the time I woke up the sun had already set, and an orange-haired girl was staring at me from across the room.
“Since you’re finally awake, would you mind telling me who you are and how you got in here?”
“You’re new roommate as of today.
Kurai Akakiri.”
“A last name?
So, you’re a noble then.”
“I guess”
“You guess?”
“…”
“Anyways, did you meet Sena or was she already asleep when you got here?”
“I met her a few hours ago outside a dungeon when she tried to rob and kill me.”
“…”
“…”
The orange-haired girl sighed and robbed her forehead.
“Sorry about her.”
“Its fine, I ended winning after all.”
“………..You beat her in a fight?”
“Technically it seemed like she just passed out from the shock of her barrier breaking, but a win is a win”
“………Even I haven’t been able to break that barrier.”
The girl looked at me with an expression that went from surprise to excitement.
“Fight me!”
“No”
“Eh? But why?”
“I’m tired boss.”
“But you just woke up!”
“Before today I haven’t slept in four weeks.”
“………..M maybe tomorrow then?”
“Maybe.”
“Oh right, my name’s Zary.
Nice to meet yah”
“Isn’t that the hero’s name?”
“Yup! That’s me!”
“……….Well at least you don’t seem to be as big a disappointment as that so called saintess over there.”
“Who the fuck are you calling a disappointment?!”
She woke up.
“The person who attempted to rob and kill an innocent stranger.”
“Innocent people don’t destroy dungeons.”
“There aren’t any laws against destroying dungeons.”
“Wait, you destroyed a dungeon? Fight me please!”
“I said I’m tired”
“Forget your fight! This bitch owes me money!”
?
“Right when I was on my way to collect some gold from that dungeon you fucking destroyed it so pay up!”
She’s insane.
“I’ll never understand what was going through the head of the lunatic that made you a saintess”
I flopped down on the bed and rolled to my side.
“I’m going back to sleep”
Oh, right I need to pick what classes to take before tomorrow.
Just as I was thinking that, the room door opened and another girl walked in.
I got back up to take a closer look at her.
She had blue skin, white hair, black and yellow eyes.
Like the whites off her eyes were literally black instead.
She also had a red horn in the middle of her forehead pointing upwards.
Also, she might be a bit taller than me.
Her looks are on another level.
After noticing me staring at her, she took a quick glance in my direction then headed towards her bed without saying a single word to anyone.
Well since I’m already up I might as well look through these papers to pick which classes to sign up for.
The saintess clicked her tongue, got up and left the room. While Zary looked at me and asked.
“What classes are you signing up for?”
“Any class that doesn’t require any note taking or writing of any kind should be fine”
“Math and Grammer classes are the only ones you need a pen for.”
“What about the history class?”
“The history teacher can’t read.”
I immediately selected history class.
Over the next half an hour Zary helped me pick what classes to take and now we’re on our way back from delivering the papers to the principal’s office.
It turns out her office really was just a detached building floating in the air.
