Chapter 110: The Past, the Present, and the Future

After laying on the bed for a couple minutes, Cameron and I finally went to the next room. It was decorated in yellow, as I didn’t know if our pup would be a boy or a girl. What a surprise to know we had both. We must prepare another room soon so our pups could have their own rooms from now on.

Cameron touched my cheek as I was deeply engrossed in my thoughts. “What are you thinking, love?”

“We need to prepare another room so Gavin and Belle can have their own rooms. What do you think?”

He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my neck. “It’s a good idea, but as they are still newborns, we will have more time until they are one or two years old.”

I nodded. “I know, but decorating both rooms will be a new activity for me.”

Cameron kissed my shoulder and bit it a little. “I have many activities for you, even for now, my darling.” His hand touched my breast to show what he meant.

I only giggled, as mating with him was always fun, satisfying, and fulfilling. So, I only sighed and leaned my head to his chest while pressing his hand on my mound. “We can do it, but tomorrow. I want to mate with you after being officially your mate.”

He kissed my cheek and whispered, “You are my official mate, love. You were mine from the past life. Then we found each other in the present. If the Highest One gives us another life, I want you to still be mine.” Then he turned my body and looked me in the eye. His hands cups my face. “I truly love you, Anna or Victoria, or whatever name you will have. If we can have an eternity, I want to spend it with you.”

I hugged his waist and kissed his chest while inhaling his comforting scent. “I know our marking ceremony is tomorrow, but listening to what you said just now … as if I had already been through our ceremony.” Tiptoeing to touch his nape, I kissed his lips. “I love you too, Cameron, or Constantine, or whatever name you will have. No matter what will happen in the future, even if we only have the present, I have been grateful as the Highest One gave us the second chance to find each other.” My eyes were wet because of tears. “To have happiness together.”

Cameron kissed my lips, and we enjoyed a few minutes enjoying each other lips until suddenly, a whimper and then another one filled the room. It turned into bawling as both of our pups woke up already.

Giggling as our twins stopped us to do more intimate things, I kissed Cameron’s chin and winked. “Our pups are protesting because their parents are busy with themselves and ignoring them.”

He laughed aloud, and the twins bawled louder, as if they protested we didn’t give them the attention they deserved. I held Gavin, kissed his forehead, and said, “My son, your daddy is here. He already chose a name for you—Gavin Horace Black. Now, meet your daddy.”

I let Cameron hold Gavin. Cameron’s face softened when he saw his son for the first time. Then he glanced at me. “Thank you for giving me such a handsome son.”

Nodding as a lump formed in my throat. I gulped as I was about to cry again. Then I held my daughter. She opened her eyes and stared at me, then she smiled. “Oh, look at her. Cameron, Belle just smiles at me.”

Cameron glanced at our daughter. When he looked at me, his eyes shone. “She looks like you, love. Thank you for making me the happiest man in the world today.”

I sniffed and smiled. Then I kissed my daughter’s forehead. “My daughter, your daddy wants to hold you too. He chose a perfect name for you—Belle Veronica Black. Come, meet your daddy.” Then I gave Belle to Cameron, and he let me hold Gavin.

Cameron kissed Belle’s pink cheeks and smiled. “My daughter, don’t grow up too fast. I hope you will always be daddy’s little girl forever.” He let out a sigh and wiped the corner of his eyes. “When Belle is an adult, I wonder if I must lock her in the attic so no one will want to take her away from us.”

I giggled and shook my head. “You’re ridiculous. Belle is a newborn, but you have already thought of her as an adult.”

“Look at her! She looks exactly like you. I’m sure she will break many hearts.” Cameron rubbed our daughter’s cheek. “Don’t worry, sweetheart. Daddy will always protect you. I won’t let any man break your heart.”

I could only shake my head as my mate already showed his strong protective side toward our daughter. Then Gavin whimpered. He reached to my breast.

Cameron glanced at his son and laughed. “Ah, our son even already has a good taste in recognizing a beautiful woman. Hopefully, you won’t ruin many women when you grow up.”

“Cameron!” I clucked my tongue. Considering Gavin’s face had all Cameron’s features, I was sure he would be sought after by many she-wolves, especially if he would be the next Alpha.

“What? I’m only telling the truth. Our son is handsome, isn’t he?”

I giggled. “Fishing for a compliment, huh?” I teased him.

“What? No, I only stated a fact.”

Then I sat and let Gavin drink milk first. Cameron sat next to me, carrying Belle in his arms. I leaned my head on his arms, and he turned his head to kiss my hair. “Thank you, love,” he said. “I can’t ask for more. You have given me what any man wants and wishes for.”

My heart was full. I said nothing, but I guessed my mate already knew my heart. “Thank you,” I whispered. “All miseries and heartaches are worth it now, as I already have what I want.”
