Chapter 81

Catherine and Clair (Catherine is Claire’s wolf) –

My assailants were also wolves. They probably think they have a helpless woman when I snarled at them, I was laughing inside. Then I will force them to eat their own feet and torture them afterwards until they answer my questions.

It was my decision to let them attack me. I did say try. After they came charging at me, and it was a group of four idiot wolves, I waited until they were almost right in front of me. Then I jumped with my wolf over their heads, and in a short time, I was behind them. After running too fast, two of them lost control and skidded headfirst into a tree after not being able to stop. Because of how winded they were, they were unable to get up. There were two more wolves left, and I slowly walked in the direction of them, whilst the rogues warily walked towards me. If one could see a wolf smirk, that is what would on my face

Catherine –

"Here kitty, here kitty. Have I told you that I eat cats? If you call yourselves wolves, you aren't being truthful. There is no doubt that you two are inept. I am a royal wolf, and I can link to anyone, but they are unable to mind-link back.

The teeth of my mouth are bared and I emit my Royal Alpha Aura. I see them attempting to stand up against it, but Alpha auras are extremely hard to resist and not to run away from. The dogs were trying to growl, but not as loudly as they had done before. At one point, I swear I could see one of them shaking.

'Kitty, cat!' I'm going to snack on you this afternoon. Sometimes I get annoyed when my food refuses to be eaten." One of them jumps up and tries to grab my neck as soon as I get closer to them. In that moment the rogue was about to land on me as he was trying to reach my neck. Using my teeth, I bite a large hole in the rogue wolf's abdomen with his organs in my teeth, sliding under him as I do. Having spit it out, I thought that I didn't eat junk food.

In that moment, I saw the other wolf look frozen and terrified as the dirty wolf fell to the ground. I turned around and saw the terrified wolf. That's good. The thought crossed my mind that he totally deserved to be terrified. I am aware that I had to look like something out of a horror movie, with the sight of baring my teeth and a piece of flesh and guts stuck between my teeth hanging out of my mouth.

As I was about to jump on this scared wolf, it ran away. However, behind me the wolves that were winded, were now standing headed over to me. I think to myself, Good it is time to play. With the mind-link I snarl as telling them how “I had your friends guts as a snack, now it was time to have the delicacy of your hearts.”

They growl in anger and start to run towards me. Stupid wolves that didn’t work the last time they tried rushing at me. What makes them think it will work this time, so predictable. Without warning a huge wolf bigger than mine with an amazing scent jump over me and blocks me from my play toys.

“Hi, my sexy mate, I would like to at least play with one of my toys.”

Xander and his wolf both mind linking me, the two of them were unanimously in agreeance that I was not to be fighting while I am carrying pups, they ordered me.

As a result, they managed to get my anger up. No one is ordering me! As I groan, I decide to walk around. While Xander and his wolf are decapitating one of the wolves, I am decapitating another. When I turn my head towards them, I huff, and I slowly walk off leaving them to see the back end of my tail disappearing.

Walking behind a tree, I shift to my human form and get dressed. I could smell something foul again. I roll my eyes and think how stupid the rogue is to come at me again, they must have a death wish. I pretend to not know someone is behind me. The rogue grabs from behind putting a knife to my neck. I laugh out loud and I already had grabbed my dagger stabbing the rogue behind me in the groin. These idiots never learn, I watch the rogue fall to the ground in pain. This will be the rogue we will keep as a prisoner to get our answers from. I turn and kick him where I stabbed the rogue. I hear him grunt and swear at me profanities that I would let a sailor hear.

At this point, Xander had already changed into his human form. His gaze is fixed on me as he shakes his head. I can tell what he is thinking by the way he shakes his head. Although he had ordered me not to fight, despite his orders, I did fight anyway, which upset him. I am sure he will learn I am not someone to be ordered around, he stated I was equal to him. It would be wise for him not to order me.

Xander –

“What were you thinking? I told you not to fight the rogues, you did exactly the opposite. Why didn’t you listen to me?”

Clair –

“You mean why didn’t I obey you? I am not a dog that sits and begs on command!”

Xander –

“You are having our pups remember??? You should not be fighting!!”

Clair ---

“What? Because I am pregnant with our pups, you think you can order me around? Don’t you trust me to keep them safe?”

Xander –

“What if one of those dirty mutts had stabbed you? I would lose both you and our pups. I can’t live without you, I just can’t!” Turning from Clair I grab the rogue Clair had injured and threw him to one of my men to bring in for questioning I couldn’t talk about this anymore. I shifted into Caliginous my wolf and took off as fast as I could run, I needed to calm down.
