Chapter 12 Persuading Bert
"His name is Norton Ron!" Said Bert coldly.
How could he Bert's child be so weak? That was how he was brought up, and that was how he Norton must be brought up.
Bane almost didn't come up in one breath.
"Whatever his name is, he's only a boy! Mr. Rowan, you can't be so cruel! And you must ask his mother for her opinion! '
In Bane's opinion, no mother would want to let a child so young leave her. If Norton's mother were here, perhaps it would be better.
This, to his surprise, offended Bert, and made him look very gloomy.
'There's no need to consult her!’
"Why not? Norton is her child, you should talk to her too..."
'Hush!’
Bane was frightened and stopped talking.
Bert's eyes fell on Norton and he said, "You give me a reason to convince me."
Norton knew his father would not let him stay for the wrong reason.
"I can't get used to food from other countries..."
Bert knew that Norton was much like him, a picky eater, so much so that Norton had always been thinner than other children his age.
"The cook will go with you."
Again, Norton said, "I want to stay with Dad."
This seemed an excuse, but it succeeded in silencing Bert.
He looked at Norton again. "Then wait two years, but if you do that again, I'll send you abroad in a second!"
Norton's mood brightened when he heard this, and a long-lost smile appeared on his little face.
No more going abroad at last. At least he couldn't leave now.
That thing was going to be found out soon. If he went abroad, he would not find anything.
Bane, feeling relieved, said, "I'll be off now, Mr. Ron. You're wrong to press the boy like that when you want to discuss anything with him."
Bert's eyes fell on her, his face cold, and Bane swallowed the words on his lips and said quickly, "I'll leave if it's okay."
Norton quickly shouted, "beautiful aunt!"
Bane turned. "What's up?"
Norton looked at his father, looked at Bane again, and whispered, "I'm, I'm hungry. I want to eat your food, okay?"
Norton wanted to eat what he could eat.
He was resistant to injections and had to have them before he ate.
He still wanted to eat, but he wanted to eat from his beautiful aunt.
Norton remembered that the last time his father had promised to keep his beautiful aunt, he didn't feel guilty about asking her to cook for him.
Bane was about to say yes, but her eyes fell upon Bert.
She remembered the last time Ron's gang had thrown her out, and to put it blunter, there was no such thing as resentment.
Bert looked up. "Cooking and getting paid!" He said.
Bane wanted to refuse, but instead he said, "No problem!"
Norton smiled.
Seeing his son laugh, Bert had mixed feelings.
He could not remember when Norton had been so happy. He was reserved, like a little man.
And now Norton had finally made Bert realize that Norton was only five years old.
He was too demanding.
It had been a long time since Bane had returned, and Sophie wondered why it had taken so long for her mother to pour the water.
Bane consoled Sophie by promising to buy her a toy next time.
Once back at the Reeds' house, Bane went into the living room and saw Rosa sitting there.
Rosa's face was very ugly. "Why are you coming back now?"
Bane wiped the smile from his face. "More time with Sophie," She said.
"Just have a look at it, why accompany so long."
Bane wasn't saying anything. It was clear that Rosa was in trouble.
"You come with me to a party tomorrow," Rosa said, her face grim. "Get ready."
Bane smiled a little sneer. "Are you sure you're calling me?"
Rosa didn't like her. How could she be so kind to take her to a party?
"What's your attitude? Bear in mind, Ben Reed, that scum has to pay my medical bills, get pregnant unmarried, give birth to a baby in a prison cell, you've got some cheek!"
"Then what do you want me to do?"
Rosa choked and almost didn't know what to say.
"Never mind that, get ready as you are told! Don't blame me for not paying for the treatment of that bastard if you don't talk so much more!"
"All right!" said Bane, swallowing his anger.
Rosa looked at the back of Bane, the face is very gloomy, if it were not for the ghost may wake up to find someone, she would have given the solution to Bane.
But it did not matter. She would have a lot to gain after it's over.
When Bane returned to his room, he fell straight into bed. The cell phone rang suddenly, and the stranger called.
"Hello, who is this?”
"You...... Is that Bane?"
Bane's face changed and the phone barely held.
"I'm back, Bane."
Bane quickly cut off the phone, breathing fast.
The phone rang again, but she didn't answer it and just let it go on.
Finally, the phone stopped ringing and two text messages arrived.
"Bane, I'm back. Can I see you?"
"I've always been here, Bane!"
Seeing these two messages, Bane was stunned and his eyes were covered with a mist of water.
Ward Jonathan was back.
Ward, her college boyfriend, had been married right after graduation, but it all ended that night six years ago.
She lost her first time and went to jail, and her life was ruined, and she didn't want to drag Ward down with her.
"Sorry..."
She made up her mind to block Ward's phone.
Ward, on the other hand, put his phone down. The sky was overcast, but he was in a good mood.
He finally succeeded this time, he wanted to get Bane back, give Bane happiness.
Six years ago, he was forced out of the country by his family. He didn't even have time to say goodbye to Bane. He was put on a plane, and soon saw a message from Bane that he was breaking up with her.
He knew there must be something wrong with Bane that made her break up.
But he could not come back, let alone come back, was to contact the domestic contact.
He was forced to helpless, had to obediently stay abroad, desperately do lists, after obtaining certain achievements, only to come back.
Now, he was going to hold Bane tight.
