Chapter 72 Bert is Cheated
Bane sighed inwardly. She pulled her thoughts back. She had made her choice, and thought of nothing else.
"Bane, are you leaving?"
When my colleague knew the news, he went to ask Bain.
Bane nodded. "Yes, but I'm not leaving until I've handed it over."
To be honest, Bain does have very strong business ability. Those who originally looked down upon her are now convinced of her. If they encounter problems that cannot be solved at work, they turn to Bain for help, and they can certainly solve them.
And it's easier than going to Director Davis.
So when we knew Bain was leaving, everyone was reluctant.
"Something happened at home, so I quit."
"We wish you had stayed on. You are leaving so suddenly. We are all used to having you here."
"Oh, I'm sorry, but I'm sure the new employee will fit in with you as soon as possible."
"In that case, let's give Bane a treat tonight. We're not very busy right now anyway."
There was no objection to this proposal, and the party was fixed for the evening.
For all the kindness, Bane did not refuse, told Annie, said he would go to the hospital later.
Finally, when they got off work, someone suggested going to a high-grade bar, intending to consume ruthlessly and drink happily.
After work, they took Bane directly to one of the most exclusive bars, where a booth had been set up and he went straight over.
The scene inside the bar is like a mob dancing, the music is very exciting, a group of people dancing on the platform, stimulating the adrenals of everyone.
Bane didn't like the atmosphere, but his colleagues seemed to be enjoying it.
Work in this industry, usually are tight nerves, like this can let them relax a place, naturally is very enjoy.
Various drinks were placed on the table, and everyone was crowded into the same area, most of them playing, while Ward sat quietly, without saying a word, and kept drinking.
Bane didn't say a word when he saw what Ward was doing.
She didn't want anything more to do with Ward. She wanted him to stop thinking about her for good, so she knew what she had to do.
Bane was so annoyed by the music that he couldn't stand it any more and went to the bathroom.
But at the corner, saw a pair of men and women holding together, the posture is very intimate, the woman's whole body is attached to the man.
Bane was about to look away when the woman turned her head away, kissed the man on the neck, and Bane saw half the woman's face. It was a very familiar face.
That woman was Betsy Reed.
But it was not Bert who was with Betsy Reed, and Bert was far better than the man, because the man's face was directly towards her, and she could see the man's face clearly.
The man was a very good-looking man, and he ran his hands over her as he carried her.
Bane couldn't look any longer. He quickly looked back, and suddenly realized what was wrong.
Were not Betsy Reed and Bert Ron engaged? Why is she with another man?
Does Bert Ron know?
That hat on Bert's head is so green!
Bane thought for a moment, then pulled out his phone and filmed the scene before heading to the bathroom.
Bane hesitated to tell Bert, but she kept editing the message, deleting it, re-editing it, and finally, sending a message.
"What would you do if you were betrayed?"
After sending it, Bane decided to put the phone back in her pocket. She thought it would take a long time for Bert to reply, but Bert's message came back in less than a minute.
'You dare not!
Bane looked at Bert's message, bewildered.
What does this have to do with her? Did Bert's brain get crushed in the door?
Bane taps the screen a few times and sends back a message: "The company is having dinner at the Vayfield Bar, Betsy Reed is here, and she's having trouble with a guy. You've helped me so many times, so I'll tell you what, but for the rest, you'll take care of it yourself."
Then, also took the photo also sent to the past.
Bane didn't feel anything wrong about it. After all, she and Betsy were so hostile, and she happened to be in Bert's debt, so she didn't feel guilty about Betsy.
Bates had even betrayed Bert, and that man was nothing like Bert. I don't know what she was thinking. Isn't it a good idea to be Mrs. Ron? To commit suicide.
Bane felt himself subconsciously leaning toward Bert, and quickly stopped the thought in his mind.
She was about to wash her hands when a cell phone rang in her ear and she quickly pressed the answer.
Bert's voice came over the phone, a little chilly. "You've been to the bar?"
Bane's face was covered in confusion. The point wasn't that she was at the bar, was it? The point should be that Betsy betrayed him!
"Yes, Wei wild bar, you'd better hurry over, those two people should not leave."
"Have you been drinking?
'What?
Is he out of his mind?
Bane would be impatient and patient. "Bert Ron, whether I had a drink or not is not the point. The point is that you have been betrayed."
Bert smiled and said, "I see."
Then he hung up the phone.
Bane shook his head resignedly, smiled and ignored it.
Just as she came out of the bathroom, she bumped into a man who smelled of alcohol and a little mint, and he quickly embraced her.
Shocked, Bane tried to push the man out of his way, but the man's voice reached her.
"Bane, Bane, Bane..."
These two words were repeated, again and again, in a tone thick with pain.
Bane was stunned.
Ward held her close to him in a dark corner that felt like no one else in the world, and he really wanted it to be just the two of them so they could be together forever.
"Bane, don't leave me, will you...
Bane sighed. "Ward Jonathan, you wake up."
"Bane, don't leave me, don't leave..."
As Ward spoke, the stale fumes of alcohol rose from his mouth and made her sick.
"Ward Jonathan, let go of your hand, sober up, and leave me alone!"
