My December weather
My slouched body reaches to the centre. The lights were cut off, a power cut disappoints the whole neighborhood.
But I found the power cut timing awfully useful. I could sprint my way back into the mansion and leave with my car at the speed of light.
Silly thoughts begin to occur to me as I watch the full moon above my head. The trees created shadows but right above my head, the moon shone its light on me. It was almost impossible to see what was around me.
It could be a threat, it could be Ravine herself.
"Aaron?"
Her voice was the softest that I've ever heard.
She calling my name with such a delightful tone was piercing my poor heart, damaging me further. I don't want her to fuck with me anymore. I'm going to ask her right away...
"Ravine you—"
"Will you marry me?"
As I spin around, I see the woman on her knee and a blue velvet box in her hand. I hear a click sound of a camera go off as I don't even turn to that direction.
The whole thing comes as the greatest shock to me. My stupid clouded head wouldn't understand why Ravine was on her knee and in her hands a beautiful velvet box which bears the most beautiful platinum and diamond ring within.
I release a shaky breath.
Curse you, Ravine...
"Aaron... will you marry me and make me the happiest woman on earth?" Asks the woman as I burst into tears. I kneel in front of her, crying my eyes out in my hands as I crouch to the dirt below my feet.
I hear her chuckling, she was crying herself I think.
"Aaron, I'm so—"
"I love you, Ravine!" Crying, I embrace her with all my might. We were on our knees and the grass blades were irritating my legs.
"I love you too!" She says, full of emotions.
"Will you—"
"Yes! Oh god, yes! I'll marry you how many ever times you want me to! I love you, Ravine! I love you!" She laughs loudly as I scream to the world, declaring my resolve with her.
The lights turn back on as suddenly, the night sky was filled with firecrackers and the delightful scene was blowing away my drunken mind.
We stand back up as I was held close to her waist and the ring was put on my finger.
"This isn't fair..." I whine to the older woman who chuckles.
"I know it's not. And I'm sorry that I had to let you go through that, baby boy. If I were you, I would have run away. Thinking you would, I asked Ms. Smyers for help." I gasp when she tells me.
"Smyers too! You guys are so foul..." she laughs loudly and embraces me.
"Wait." I halt her to the ground.
Plucking up a blade of grass, I tie the grass around her finger and it looked like the most beautiful ring I've ever seen.
The light from the firecrackers makes her look even more pretty than normal. Her cheeks were highlighted with her own tears, and I loved her face with the spectacles on her little nose.
"Baby girl... will you marry me too?"
"You've already— yes. Yes, I fucking will marry you how many ever times you want me to." He repeats my dialogue.
I couldn't hold myself back anymore.
"Ah!" I lift her body up in the air and twirl her around as the unknown videographer records our proposal to each other and other happy moments.
The firecrackers were still going on.
"My wife, Ravine Renaldi... thank you."
"Thank you too, my husband." Saying, she tilts her head down to kiss me as I chin up to meet her sweet lips.
As the firecrackers begin to deplete, the power comes back on and I now get to witness the videographer who was shooting the video.
"Jack!?" I yell. Beside him was Charlie and Gerroto.
"My man!" The men collide with us as I hug them tightly.
"Congratulations, Aaron!"
"Thanks, Jack! I see you proposed to my bestie too!" We all yell when I held his left hand and there was a ring to it already.
The park was full of our excited yells when two women come closer.
"You're darn right, Aaron. I can't believe you're the last one to be proposed, even though you two have fallen in love before us." Says Jasmine. I hug her and receive a warning from Jack not to crush her. She was pregnant after all, three months and counting!
"Jeez, Smyers you're a killer." I hug my security head too as she pats my back, congratulating me. She's had the biggest role in Ravine's master play.
"But, who was playing that role—"
"That... would be me." I turn around and see someone else.
It was Miranda...
No wonder I couldn't guess her.
Gerrard and their baby was here too. I was running out on energy to perceive the shocks for today.
I turn to Ravine as she giggles.
"You... are... a devil."

All of us crash into the mansion.
The next morning, the first task on my head was to buy her a ring and replace the natural ring I gave her. She wears it even now. I'm worried that she will get an infection from the grass ring.
So I wake up before anyone else, let her sleep on the bed and get some rest while I drive straight to Tiffany's and buy the most expensive yet simple and beautiful platinum ring for her.
As soon as I reach home, I dress up and decorate the living room by myself.
The others were all awake as they pat my back for mutual efforts.
"She's gonna be so happy." Charlie says to me.
"I hope so. Let me call her and wake her up." Saying, I dial her number and call her to wake her up.
"Hmm...?" I hear her sleepy voice. Chuckling, I say to her, "Breakfast is ready, sleepy head. Come down and let's eat." I say.
The living room was a little away from the view from the corridor.
As she descends down, her shocked expression meets my pleasant one.
I approach her, kissing her head as she groans in embarrassment against my chest.
"You didn't have to! I loved the grass ring so much!" She shows me her ring which was about to dry up. I chuckle and remove the ring myself.
"I'll preserve this with my life, Ravine." I say.
