CHAPTER 103

AFTER THREE MONTHS

Mark’s POV

It was almost the due time for Casabella to bring our angels to the world as we had made all the necessary preparations.

Tonight we’re organising a party to wish her a safe delivery and to show how much we really love and appreciate her presence in our lives.

Rosy and Mary plan on taking her out throughout the day while Nick, Alex and I can start the arrangement for the party which is only within family members and friends.

I have got the most precious gift for her and made sure it was kept hidden away from her until the right time which happens to be tonight.

I stepped inside the room and found her still sleeping peacefully on the bed.

I strolled to the bed and took a seat close to her staring at the beautiful chubby face in front of me.

The pregnancy has changed her appearance which I still love no matter what. I feel the pain women go through when they are pregnant. Their appearance and body changes entirely and they pass through so much pain when they are in labour.

And seeing my wife in that position, the only means to help her is to encourage her. She's not alone and we love her very much.

I smiled warmly when she pouted her mouth in her sleep and tried to change her sleeping position but I held on to her face.

“Rise and shine Mrs Clinton.”

“Uhnn… do I really have to wake up now? I feel like I could sleep the whole day." She yearned with her eyes still closed.

“Yes, my love. You got to take a shower and get dressed. I got a call from Alex about Rosy planning an outing among you ladies and wants you to be ready before she arrives.”

“How come she didn’t tell me about it?” She inquired slowly, opening her eyes.

“I don’t know honey but you need to get ready, okay?”

“Alright, at least she should have informed me about it. Good morning baby.”

“Good morning my love.” I replied and helped rest on a pillow.

“I really don't feel like going anywhere today."

"You have to, my love. I'm sure you guys are going to have so much fun."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes my love. Let's get you ready before she shows up."

"You mean we should take a shower together and make out during the process?" She busted out.

"I read my mind. I'm so much in love with your naughty ways, Mrs Clinton." I grinned picking her up from the bed as we both made for the bathroom.

Casabella’s POV

I was all alone in the living room enjoying my tomato pizza with strawberry smoothies and at the same time watching an entertainment program.

Mark left the house an hour or more to take care of something which he didn’t tell me about but I made sure he got me something to keep me busy with since Rosy hasn’t turned up yet.

“Stella, could you please bring me more smoothies.” I yelled, taking the last sip of the smoothie.

“Okay ma’am.” She responded back while I continued with my pizza.

After some minutes, she came back with the smoothies and was half way when we both heard the doorbell.

“Here you go ma’am why I go check who is at the door.” She handed me the smoothies and went to have a look at who it was.

“Good morning madams.” I heard Stella uttered which was no doubt it's Rosy and Mary.

“It’s so good to be home again.” Rosy groaned as they all walked inside the living room.

“Look who is having a good time enjoying all alone.” She grinned as they both took their seats on the sofa.

“You decided to show up now after having me wait for an hour or more and you didn’t even care to tell me about it on the phone.”

“Come on babe. I wanted to surprise you a bit, you know?”

“Oh really? Then why didn’t you both turn up earlier then?”

“Calm down a bit, Bella. You don’t have to take it seriously. You know it’s not good for the babies.” Mary pleaded with me.

“I’m really sorry babe. We got stuck trying to get something special for you.”

“You got me something?” I asked, staring at her with puppy eyes.

“Yes babe and I understand why you feel hurt.”

“I didn’t really mean to react that way. My hormones sometimes get the better of me. I’m sorry for acting that way to you both.” I apologised.

“It’s all right. We all are dealing with it after all.” She responded with a smile.

“Where is what you guys got for me?” I asked curiously.

“Not so fast Mrs Clinton. We have some conditions you have to follow before you can give it to you.”

“But why?”

“No questions babe or we will change our minds.”

“That’s not fair enough.” I frowned.

“Of course, it is. Are you ready for our outing?”

“Yeah. Stella! Can you please get me my bag in the room?” I called out as she responded and headed upstairs.

After a short while she came back with my bag along with a basket containing a home made recipe mum made for me.

“Mum got us something to take along. So how’s your baby kicking in?” I asked Mary who took a slice of the pizza while Rosy was having the smoothie.

"That's awesome. I really love your mum so much." Rosy beamed.

“Well, my tummy is still flat, you know but the bump will be visible in no time." She smiled rubbing her tummy through the dress.

"You still have a lot of time. I can't wait for my babies' arrival."

"Relax babe, you just have a few days left."

"Whatever Rosy! When you're done checking the stiff can we leave?" I sighed.

"Of course, I am done. We are going to have fun."

"Sure, yeah. Let's put it this way, the outing of the three pregnant women." Mary suggested as we laughed at it.

"It makes sense though. Let's go already." I mused before we trooped out of the living room.

Mark POV

I got a message from Rosy stating they just left the mansion which made me inform Alex and Nick as we all headed back to the house to organise the party along with the designers and caterers.

I want her to know how special she is to me and how I’m so eager to welcome my beautiful kids into the world.

We arrived in the mansion in less than an hour with the designers and caterers as they all began to decorate the living room and our bedroom.

“Everything is just perfect and simple. There's no doubt, I'll try it on my woman and I am sure Nick here will also do the same." Alex commented.

"Trust me Alex. There's no way I wouldn't want to get the attention of my wife." Nick replied.

"They're such a great blessing in our lives and the little we can do for them is to show them undying love and affection." I uttered.

"Absolutely true, buddy. The truth is I never knew you had this romantic side all along because if someone had asked me, I'd say you're no fun dude." Alex blurted.

"Fuck you Alex." I snarled.

"Remember what your wife said with curse words? How would you feel when I tell her you said it to me."

"Alex! Do you think you could use my wife's weak spot on me? I'm sure going to skin you alive today." I growled in anger, running after him as he made for the stairs.

"Nick, please save me from this growling lion." He shouted.

"Guys, remember what we are doing here." Nick explained which made me stop.

He's the youngest among us yet he's more sensible than Alex himself.

"You're so lucky, Nick has a point in his words. Just wait, once the party is over, I'll make you pay."

"Too bad for you, buddy. Mrs Clinton is going to be with you, remember so there's absolutely nothing you can do to me." He boasted.

"I have my ways, man. Not even Rosy will be able to save you from me, remember that." I smiled and strolled to the kitchen to check up on the caterers.

EVENING

It was past seven in the evening and the ladies hadn't returned. Everyone was already here including her parents, Mary's parents and Mr Henry.

I just can't wait to see the look on her face when she sees the surprise we prepared for her.

"What's taking them so long? I thought Rosy said they will be back before seven?" I asked Alex who talked to Rosy earlier.

"I'm sure they're on their way. Let's just wait..." He wasn't done with his words when we heard a car horn outside.

I looked through the window to see their car coming in.

After a while, they all stepped out of the car and I was more focused on my wife's new looks.

They were dressed in matching clothes and my wife was looking extremely beautiful with her bump as they all walked towards the entrance.

"They are at the entrance." I whispered to everyone as we all rushed into hiding with the lights out.

The door was opened but they stood at the entrance.

"Why's the lights out?" Casabella asked.

"I don't know, let me check the switch." Rosy responded and the moment I heard the door being locked I turned on the light.

"Surprise!!!" We all yelled, coming out of hiding.

"Oh my goodness! What's all these?" She exclaimed as I walked up to her.

"It's to wish you a safe delivery, my love."

"Oh god! This is really beautiful. Thank you so much, hubby." She held onto my hands.

"I'm glad you love it, wifey. There's still more." I revealed but she screamed holding her bump.

"Argh… The babies are on their way."

"What do you mean the babies are on their way? I thought there's still more time until your due date?" I asked, panicking as I held on to her as everyone rushed towards us.

"How would I know! Just help me out! Argh!" She yelled, holding on to me as Alex and Nick helped me in holding her.

"Stella, go get the babies' stuff." I yelled as we carried her outside.

I wasn't expecting the surprise to turn out this way. I just pray she delivers safe and sound.

"My baby!" Her mum called out rushing outside with us.

"Ohhh.... my god! Do something honey!" She screamed, holding on to me tightly as we put her inside the car.

"Everything will be fine! Just take a deep breath, we are on our way to the hospital."

"We will meet you guys at the hospital." Nick uttered as Alex got in with me before the chauffeur drove to the hospital.
