CHAPTER 104

Mark’s POV

We were all standing outside the IUC room waiting patiently to get the news of her safe delivery when a nurse rushed out to call me.

“You’re needed in the operation room, sir. Please come with me.” She stated.

“Is she okay?” I asked as I trailed after her leaving Alex and the rest behind.

I was given a medical gown to put on before we proceeded inside the theatre room where I found my angel in pain.

“Mr Clinton, I need you to talk to your wife. She’s not pushing hard enough.” Doctor Angela explained.

“I will talk to her. My love, I am here for you.” I rushed to her on the bed as she was in tears.

“I don’t think I can do this, hubby. The pain is just too much.” She busted out into fresh tears, holding on to my hand.

“Look at me wifey. You’re a strong woman and I know you can do it. You just have to keep looking at me and push with everything you have got. I am here for you, okay?” I assured her.

“Okay.” She responded as I signalled the doctor she was ready.

“Mrs Clinton, I want you to push really hard.” The doctor instructed her as I held on to her hands tightly.

“Arrrrgggghhhh….” She screamed out as the doctor pulled out our baby boy first crying which brought a warm smile to my faces he was handed over to one of the nurse.

“I’m so tired and weak, hubby.” She said, panting heavily.

“Come on, my love, you can do it. You just have to push again and our second baby is out, please stay strong for us, my love.”

“This is the last baby Mrs Clinton you will need to push harder than the first time."

"I'm trying my best." She screamed at the doctor.

"Arrrggghhh..." She screamed as the doctor pulled out our baby girl whose cry filled the room.

"Congratulations wifey. You finally did it." I kissed her on the forehead as she stared at me, panting lightly.

"I did it." She smiled warmly, having a look at our baby girl who was then taken away by another nurse to clean up.

"They look so cute just like their parents." Mrs Williams said as our baby girl cling to her.

"The boy looks exactly like his dad when he was little." Rosy disclosed.

"I can see you had your looks right from a baby." Casabella whispered in my ear.

"Now you know." I smirked and pecked on the cheeks before anyone could tell what's going on.

"What names have you both planned to give the babies?" Mr Henry asked.

"I have been thinking we should call them Aiden and Addison. I'm sure it's a good name or don't you like the name honey?" She suggested.

"Well, it's a great name but I was thinking we should name them after your late parents in remembrance of them."

"Really hubby." She inquired as she looked emotional like someone who was going to break down in tears any minute.

"Yes, my love." I affirmed.

"I feel like kissing you right now." She blurted out which made everyone laugh including me.

"Let's excuse them. I can see they are dying to devour one another through looks." Mrs Williams suggested as they all stepped out with the babies.

The moment they stepped outside, she crushed her lips on mine as I took over the kiss.

Casabella’s POV

I feel really complete having such a caring husband, beautiful kids, loving parents and best friends who are nothing but everything to me.

I turned the urine from the bowl away and discard the pregnancy kit in the waste bin and rinsed my hands before stepping out to find her on the bed.

"Why are you happy mummy?" She inquired as she caught me smiling.

"Do you really want to know?"

"Yes mummy." She beamed.

"Well, you're going to have a little brother or sister to play with soon."

"Yey! I'm going to have a baby soon." She jumped in excitement.

"Yes honey. You're going to have a kid brother or sister."

"Did daddy know?" She asked suddenly.

"Not yet. I will tell him but not now."

"Why mummy? Can I tell Kelvin about it?"

"Not now darling. I want to surprise your daddy and as for Kelvin, you do know he's going to tell your daddy about it."

"Okay mummy, I won't say a word to them."

"Thank you baby. Shall we go make the ice cream?"

"Yes!" She screamed as I helped her down from the bed before she rushed out of the room.

I was in my bra and panties when I felt a presence around me which wasn't just a stranger's presence but the one I was used to in the last four years.

"How did you notice my presence even when I tried every means not to make a sound?"

"Really? Then what is it?"

"Your strong cologne. There's no way I won't recognize it."

"It really didn't cross my mind. You're indeed good at everything, wifey."

"With you beside me, I feel special and unique." I beamed.

"Why are you smiling so sweetly today? Is there something you want to tell me?" He asked curiously.

"I do but now isn't the right time."

"Why won't you tell me right now?"

"When the time is right I will let you know but tonight, I want to feel you all over me."
