Chapter 62: Do everything to save her
When Edward parked his car in front of the house, it was nearly half past seven o'clock. He stepped outside, and Juan approached him. He handed him his car keys, but he stopped him before he could go inside.
"Is this your son, Sir?" he asked as he turned around.
"Oh, this is Eddie, my son, and this is Juan, our chauffeur," Edward said as he introduced him to his son.
"By the way, where is my wife? I'm sure she's glad our son is already here," Edward said.
"S-Sir?"
"I- uh. " He came to a halt. "What is it, Juan?" Edward inquired, his face befuddled.
"Ma'am Cassandra, she left," he explained. "Did you go out? Alone?" he inquired, and Juan nodded, looking down.
"And why are you here? You're supposed to drive her wherever she wants," he said sternly.
"I-I'm sorry, sir. I asked her, but she said she'd go by herself, and I heard her say she needed to save her son," he said, looking away. Edward exhaled a sigh.
"How long has it been?" he inquired, concerned.
"About forty-five minutes," he said as he walked inside without saying anything else.
Everyone had gathered in the kitchen. "Mark!" He exclaimed, drawing everyone's attention to him, "Trace Cassandra's cell phone right now!" He frowned but nodded.
"Is everything okay?" Mrs. Consuelo inquired as she entered the living room, noticing everyone's concern and panic.
"No, Mom, Cassandra isn't here; Juan said she left 45 minutes ago," he said as he dialed her phone number.
Mrs. Consuelo asked, "What?" He dialed her number once more. "Sh*t, she's not answering her phone; where could she be?" he grumbled.
"Perhaps she went to see her friends, Ava," Mrs. Consuelo speculated. "No, she would have told me if that was the case; what bothers me is that she is all alone," Edward replied.
"And I know she's not with Ava right now; my girlfriend is in New York since yesterday," Mark said as he walked in with his laptop. "I guess I know where she went," he said as he handed the laptop to Edward. "What the f*ck!!" he exclaimed upon seeing the location.
"We have to leave right now."

Their vehicle came to a halt in front of one of Anthony's warehouses. Edward got out and loaded his gun, walking ahead of Juan and Mark.
"The door is unlocked," he said as he kicked it open and walked in with his gun raised. To his surprise, the area was full of containers, but no one was present. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed something familiar. When he grabbed it, his heart began to race. His wife's phone was ringing.
"She's in big trouble; it's her phone."
"Does that mean she was here?" Mark inquired. "That is what bothers me.
Anthony may have contacted her as well "He stated. Anthony, according to Edward, did not even hurt a single hair on her head. He'll die a miserable death.
His phone began to ring, and Edward's blood began to boil as he saw caller I.d answer his phone and brought it to his ear.
His evil laugh made him want to punch this f*cker through the phone. "Did we lose something now, Edward? or should I say someone?" he asked.
"I swear I'm going to kill you slowly and painfully and then chop your body into pieces for daring to touch my wife," he threatened Anthony.
"Oh my goodness, I'm scared," he chuckled. "You should be," Edward suggested.
"Hold on, Edward. You don't want me to take advantage of your unconscious wife, do you?" Anthony snarled.
"DO NOT TOUCH HER, I'M GONNA F*CKING KILL YOU IF YOU EVEN LOOKED AT HER," Edward warned. His entire body shook with rage.
"Come and get her, you know where to find me," he said as the phone line went dead. "I'm going to kill this f*cker. Juan, call the cops secretly because we need backup. It's going to be a bloody night," he said, and Juan nodded.
A block away from Anthony's hideout, Edward, Mark, and Juan stood. He swore he was going to burn this place down. He's too stupid to believe he'll get away with what he did.
Mark and Juan stood next to Edward. He could hear them running around, loading their weapons and making sure everything was ready for when they barged in.
Edward can sense a bloodbath on the horizon. He can't wait to see his wife, returning to his arms He will get his wife back, no matter how many murders he has to commit.
Mark jumped out of one of the trucks and approached him. "The place is fully guarded. There were more than eleven men out the front door, and I suspect there are more on the inside," he said.
He nodded and looked at him. "Every single one of them would die," he predicted. His voice is always cold. That's how much he loves Cassandra and he'll kill someone to save her. He will go to any length for her.
"I can't wait any longer. Let's go get those weapons ready; we're going to take down some bad guys tonight, "Edward smirked, and they all got into their trucks and drove to Anthony's hideout.
They opened fire on them as soon as they turned the corner. Anthony believes he can easily defeat Edward.
He drew his gun. "You both be ready," he said, a smirk on his lips as he heard the two days.
"Fire at the door." In a matter of seconds, the door and everyone nearby is destroyed.
The car came to a stop, and everyone jumped out, holding their guns. Edward drew his AK-47 and clutched the golden pistol that had once belonged to his late father.
"Kill everyone who comes your way, have no mercy," he said, and they all stormed in. Their opponents opened fire on them as soon as they entered. There were gunshots heard all around.
The only sounds were things breaking, glass shattering, and people screaming. Mark and Juan were right behind him.
Everyone who came after him was killed by his bullets. He got to the end of the hall and kicked the door open.
Only to be met with more gunfire. She got down and took cover behind one of the room's boxes.
His gaze was drawn to Mark, who was hiding behind the box in front of him. He nodded as he looked at him.
They both grabbed the bombs and opened the pins, tossing them in front of them. The gunshots were silenced by a loud boom.
When they got to the end of the room, there was a hallway that led in two directions. Mark and Juan were closing in on Edward quickly as they moved forward.
At the far end of the corridor stood a massive door.
hallway.
"What exactly is it, Mark?" he inquired.
He stated, "There is a bomb on the other side of the door." "We have to be cautious," Edward said.
