A gift for his girlfriend
Shania couldn't stop smiling as she shopped to her heart's content. She found a beauty shop, something chic and sexy she could get for Isabella. She forgot, her friend asked her to bring something. Isabella loved beautiful things and Shania bought some cute and hot ones for her friend
“Wow miss, you have a good eye,” the sales lady said when Shania picked up two gold necklaces and a Rolex gold watch, her eyes glimmered as she raised the watch to scan it
“It's beautiful,” she complimented and put it back, she picked up a bracelet and scanned it
“It will look good on you…it goes with this necklace,” the sales lady showed her another pair. Shania was more than happy to shop for more jewelry. The price was a little high, but it was worth it.
“Do you have any male wristwatches?” Shania asked once she was done shopping for her things, the lady smiled and packed the rest away
“Yes, do you want to go to the men's section or…”
“Can you bring the best you have here,” Shania said politely when the lady asked her, she seemed hesitant? However, Shania just wanted to see some good stuff for men
"Sure miss, I'll be right back,” the lady beamed and left from there. Shania exhaled out loud and picked up the watch she was buying. The jewelry shop was quite packed, she glanced back and saw men and women doing their shopping. Some were couples chatting and fighting over little things. It looked cute and cheesy. Shania felt bored until the woman returned with countless small boxes
“Here, Jo, please get the rest,” the lady said to the man she came with, and they dumped all the boxes on the counter
“Wow, so much,” Shania was amazed by the watches the lady brought
“You are in lack…these are our recent ones…you can choose the one you like,” the lady said and started helping Shania with choosing
“So is it for your boyfriend…or your husband?” The woman asked only for Shania to glance up, she shook her head and the lady's smile disappeared
“It's for a friend,” she muttered and picked up a silver watch, they all looked good. She wondered which one to choose
“Can I get some good watches,” someone said from behind, and soon someone stood beside Shania? She was no fool to recognize that voice. His cologne invaded her nostrils, reminding him of the shadow which always followed her
“Sure sir…we have these for men and…”
“I want something for ladies,” the man who turned out to be Christian whispered with a mischievous wink, tilting her head, Shania's expression turned sour at the sight of the man
“Really, sure sir…we have so many…do you want for your girlfriend?” The lady asked ad Christian clicked his tongue playfully at the lady and snapped his fingers
“Girlfriend, she's the most beautiful woman you've ever seen…she's my heart, she has the brightest gorgeous eyes,” Christian said softly and fixed her eyes on Shania, the sales lady was blushing to hear him. Shania was having it worse
“When she smiles…she brightens up my day, she completes me…so give me something as beautiful,” he added and turned to look at the lady,
“Sure sir, she must be lucky… you are captivating, so handsome,” the lady said with giggles and turned to get more jewelry
Shania slammed the box back on the counter and turned to leave when Christian blocked her
“Are you leaving, miss?” He asked mischievously, Shania glanced up at him with anger in her eyes
“Let go,” she muttered and wiggled out of his hold just as the lady returned
“Miss, are you leaving without taking your things?” The sales lady asked Shania, and she turned back
“No, please pack these for me,” she was already done with her shopping. Christian ruined her day, it was past 4, so why was he here? Didn't he have a race or something
“Sure, and sir… you can choose from these,” saying that the sales lady placed countless jewelry boxes on the counter for Christian to choose from
“Thanks and yes…miss… you are a woman, can you help me choose something unique for my girlfriend…” he turned to Shania and said politely? Of course, Shania knew he didn't have a girlfriend. He was just fooling around
“No, I…”
“Miss, I think you should help him… you have a good eye when it comes to good jewelry,” the sales lady said before Shania could refuse. What did she mean? She had a good eye. Wasn't she the one selling
“Sure,” even if Christian was fooling around? Shania decided to help him
“Great, please show me what she would love,” Christian beamed and shoved the boxes to Shania. The entire time, Christian was trying hard to get close to her. To touch her in the pretense of selecting the jewelry
“Wow, you look like a couple…sir, is she more beautiful than your girlfriend because if you ask me…you two look good together,” the sales lady said shyly, seeing how her two customers looked like a couple. Shania cleared her throat awkwardly and dropped everything she was holding
“Do we…and do you think I should ask her out?” Christian whispered with a grin and draped his arm over Shania's shoulder. She shrugged him away and the sales lady muffled her mouth to prevent laughter
“Sir… but you have a girlfriend…and the madam here heard you say it,”
“Ah, my bad…please pack these for me, and this one's for you,” Christian said with a pout and handed the lady what he picked.
“Thank you, sir,” the sales lady smiled from ear to ear seeing the gold watch she was given. Such men were rare. Shania didn't say a word, but she noticed how Christian was smiling and teasing the lady. It was funny because the sales lady was blushing. Her cheeks were as red as tomatoes. It seemed all women fell for his cheap, cheesy lines.
Shania and Christian were done with their shopping, both left the jewelry shop together. When they got outside, Shania came to a halt when she noticed Christian was following her
“You don't give up, do you?” She asked with a glare. Christian played with his sunglasses and grinned
“Never,” he whispered mischievously.
“Why are you here lying to people…or buying gifts for women…is that your other hobby,” she asked mockingly, they left the shop, but Christian bought jewelry for almost all the female employees
“Are you jealous…don't worry all these I bought…belong to you,” he said blinking playfully at her, Shania's mouth opened and closed. He was such a flirt,
“What happened to your car race?” She wasn't interested in him, but why was he here? Christian let out an exhalation and glanced into the sky. The sun was about to go down. The woman beside her was looking beautiful,
“Well, you left a long time ago, and you were upset… I couldn't concentrate, so I came looking for you,” he said sincerely, he went to the racetrack, but he was unable to race due to Shania not being there
“I don't believe it,” she scoffed and cheekily walked away. Christian chuckled and ran after her
“I'm serious, if you don't believe me then…well…just look at me,” he grabbed her hand and pulled her back. Shania scanned his face and only saw a mischievous fox
“I have more shopping to do…go to your race,” she shrugged him off and went to get a taxi. Christian followed her and both stood by the roadside waiting for a taxi
“Your car is there…why are you here?”
“I'll take a taxi today…since I'm free, how about we spend time together… I'm starving let's eat something,” Christian said while stretching his arms, grabbed her hand and started dragging her in the opposite direction, she only saw some food stands there
“Chris, stop it” he was forcing things when Christian stopped. He took out his phone which was ringing
“Wait for a second,” he waved her off and answered the phone
“What's up dope…is the race over so soon?” He said as soon as he answered, Shania kept massaging her wrists and waited for him. She got worried when she heard him cursing and running his hand through his hair
“Damn it, how did it happen… I'm on my way,” Christian said and rushed back to Shania
“What happened?” He looked worried
“Kev got into an accident while racing, and he's in the hospital,” he said and started rushing back to where he parked his car, Shania went after him. She wondered what happened. However Christian was even more worried. When he left the race track, Kevin asked if he could use his car for the race.
