Chapter 68
Blake knitted his brows. His woman was about to say something when they heard a knock. The middle-aged female nurse came in with another male nurse who was pushing a wheelchair.
"Mr. Acosta it's time for your X-ray.” the female nurse said.
"We'll talk later sweetheart." Blake told her.
She just nodded. Though they were not alone, he motioned for her to come near him for a quick kiss on the lips. The female nurse cleared her throat. Blake flashed out his clit-tingling smile at her before telling the nurse that he was ready.
"I don't need a wheelchair. I can walk." He told the two nurses with a smile but his smile disappeared when he noticed that the male nurse is looking at her.
"Please sit on the wheelchair sir. We don’t want to be reprimanded. It’s the doctor’s order.” The female nurse said but in a much friendlier tone.
Heather almost rolled her eyes.
Oh dear! I think Nurse Hitler has a crush on my man! She thought while suppressing a smile.
"Do you want me to come with you sweetheart?" she asked him but she frowned when she saw Blake's eyes narrowed.
He was glaring at the male nurse and the poor man just lowered his eyes.
“Sweetheart, do you want me with you? “ She asked again to distract him.
She was afraid he would say something to the male nurse. She took his attention by touching his arm. She said a silent thank you when he slowly turned to her. He didn’t say anything but his brows were creased. He was about to speak but the female nurse said, “You don’t have to come with us miss. You just wait here.”
"Yes I agree with the nurse sweetheart. Just stay here and lock the door.” He said in a chilly voice before throwing the male nurse an angry glance. “I don’t like you looking at my woman. Got that?” He said to the man with a clipped tone and he just nodded after saying sorry politely.
The female nurse snorted while Heather chewed the inside of her cheek. She did try her best but her man still said what he wanted to say..
"We have to go now Mr. Acosta." The female nurse said before looking at her for a second or two with eyes like slits.

She had just locked the door when Jay called.
"Hello." she answered.
"Sunshine, where are you? It's past 8." came her boss’ baritone voice.
"Jay please don't call me sunshine again. And I'm so sorry I don't think I can come today."
"WHAT?! Why not?!”
She nibbled the inside of her lower lip.
"My boyfriend is at the hospital He had a motorcycle accident I can’t have an overnight shoot at the resort." she explained.
Jay had his fists clenched. All his plans would be ruined. That boyfriend of Heather had a very bad timing.
"If you can’t do the overnight swimwear photo shoot, we will just have the casual wear shoot today at my friend’s studio." he said.
He would do anything to see her.
"But..." she began to say but he cut her.
"No buts! You don't even know how big the problem I have to deal with just because we can’t have the photoshoot at the resort! You know that you and I are the models so if you are not there the shoot has to be cancelled! The least we could do is make the day productive! We need pictures for JK Apparel catalog. Be in the office this afternoon!" He said in an authoritative voice.

She just sighed when her boss ended the call. It was the angriest she had heard him and she understands him. She really needed to talk to Blake about Jay and her plan of doing part-time modelling for JK Apparel.
Before Blake came back from the X-ray room, Nick, Stacey and Eve came. They were bringing food. She was happy that finally her brother-in-law and Blake were getting along. The two were planning to hang out together in the coming days.
"Now I believe that there are no permanent enemies just permanent interests. You and Blake should really have a talk about your possessiveness." joked Stacey and they all laughed.
Nick left f for work. Their family driver would just bring Stacey home. Heather didn't have the chance to tell Blake about Jay. She would have to live with Stacey since her sister's driver would drop her off to her unit.
Eve would be with Blake. His mother and father were on their way.
"So we don't have to go to my hometown for you to meet my parents ." Blake said while his hand was on her waist. His cousin and her sister were watching them.
"I know." she laughed lightly though she felt a bit nervous meeting his parents. Maybe he sensed her nervousness.
"Don't worry my princess. They will like you for sure." he said before giving her a peck on the lips.
She nodded. "Sorry I really want to stay and take care of you but I need to work.”
"It's okay sweetheart. Eve is here. I will just wait for you. Take care. I love you." he said.
Eve and Stacey cleared their throats while they have silly grins. She and Blake laughed.
"I love you too. Please stop being stubborn. Do what your doctor tells you okay? If you do what he says, you can be discharged very soon.”
"Yes my princess." he let out his clit-tingling smile.
On their way to her unit, she told her sister about Jay. Stacey advised her to tell Blake everything. And after they talked and she realized that her job would cause problems between them, then she should quit. She shouldn’t worry too much about what her mom and dad would say. She could always find another job and just explain everything to them.
"It's a matter of knowing what your priorities are. Can you lose Blake just because you don’t want to disappoint Uncle John?" asked Stacey.
She shook her head.
"I thought so. Base from what I see, you have both found the one in each other. Your only problem is trust issue. Don't worry, I will organize a get-together very soon. I will tell Nick. Those two men should really talk. From what Eve told me, Blake is worse than my husband. Nick can give him some advice so he will mellow out a little."
"Is Nick less possessive?" Heather asked.
Stacey nodded. "A little but that is already a big thing. He knows he has no reason to be too possessive. Don’t worry. Eventually Blake will be like him too. It will be different once you are already married. Just be consistent in showing him how much you love him. I am really proud of you because you have changed a lot. You now think of other people's feelings." Her sister said with a smile.
She smiled too. Stacey hadn’t been vocal about how proud she was of her until now.
"I think Blake and I realized a lot of things after his accident. I feel that he will really try harder to change his violent ways when he's jealous. As for me, I will also control my impulsive decisions and actions when I am jealous or angry.”
"That’s great. I used to be very jealous too but eventually I learned how to chill. Learn to really trust each other and have faith in your love." Stacey advised.

She didn’t know how to react to Jay’s coldness towards her. Off cam he ignored her. She just considered it as a good thing. At least they have a professional relationship. But she was feeling guilty because according to Joey, Jay had rented the resort for their photoshoot and he wasn’t of course refunded. She apologized to Joey because she knew he was excited to go. That was the reason probably why her boss seemed mad at her. She apologized again but he just replied with a very cold okay. She promised him that once Blake recovered, they would have the swimwear photo shoot.
She was a little worried with their poses. She had to touch his chest or biceps in some of the pictures. There were also some shots where he had his arms around her or she had her palms on his chest. The photographer and the other people in the studio said that they look really good together. She was hoping and praying that Blake wouldn’t get angry when he sees or hears about the photos. She bit her bottom lip when she imagined how the pictorial with the swimwear would be like. She promised herself that she would tell Blake everything later. She also tried to ask Jay what kind of poses they would have to do for the swimwear and if they would also have photos together like the ones they just had.
He just said in a cold voice, "It's all up to the photographer!" then he turned his back on her to walk away.

She called Blake to ask him if he wanted her to bring anything.
"I don’t need anything. Just come now. You know what I really want sweetheart so hurry." he said.
She colored up when she heard voices. She asked him who they were and he said they were his parents. She felt a bit embarrassed because they were there but Blake said those words which obviously had a double meaning.
"Sweetheart! Why did you say that with your parents there? What would they think?!” she scolded him.
He just chuckled. "Hurry up okay?”
"Okay. I will just take a quick shower." she said.
"Fuck sweetheart! " he groaned.
She rolled her eyes. She was 100% sure that her man's mind was working overtime again. She was glad that he said it like a whisper. She decided to tease him a little.
"I am only in my red thong and I am touching my tits." she said huskily.
Before he could answer, she hang up before giggling. He was calling again but she ignored him. She was beaming as she walked to the bathroom. After her shower, she couldn’t help but laugh upon seeing his message.
You will really get it from me once I am fully recovered. You won't need your red thong and I will not only touch your tits sweetheart.
She was giggling while she replied to him.

She declined his call when he was calling again.. She was grinning while she dressed. She tied her hair up and chose simple clothes. She had minimal make-up too. She wanted to be more natural though gorgeous. She wanted his parents to have a good impression of her.

She knocked three times lightly before turning the knob. A smile was on her face but her smile faded when she she heard and saw Kristel who was bringing a bowl.
"Please eat now. I will feed you.” the other woman told Blake.
"Sweetheart.." his eyes widened when he saw her.
He had a worried look on his face.
