She caught her breath when she saw how Blake's eyes turned into slits "B-But we weren’t a couple. I didn’t say yes to him. I threw all the gifts like flowers and chocolates he gave me and the others I gave away to my friends. Y-You can even ask Pauline and Rica s-sweetheart." she stammered.

Blake was furious, jealous and ready to be violent but he made a promise and he wouldn’t break it. Heather told him that she would be a part-time model of that shop and that was fine with him. She also said that there would be times when she had to do some pictorials with that asshole boss of hers, he didn’t like the set-up but he said okay. Anyway he could be present at the photoshoots. And if he saw one false move from that bastard, he would smack him and injure him badly. But the last thing she said angered him.

That dickhead was her suitor? Dammit! He angrily thought.

Now he knew why that asshole couldn’t hide his admiration and desire for his woman. He was even jealous of him. He raked his fingers through his hair. Keeping his cool was extremely difficult.

"S-Sweetheart, d-do you want me to resign?" Heather asked. She remembered Stacey's advice. If her job will cause a rift between them she would resign.

Blake was taken aback with her question Will she really do that? Quit the job that she wanted for me? He asked himself.

If he would ask her to resign he would seem to be heartless. She said awhile ago that she trusted him so the least he could do is trust her too. He could trust her but not her boss. Anyway he would deal with him his way if it was needed. He would teach that bastard a lesson he won't forget if he did something unacceptable to his woman. With a heavy sigh, he pulled her towards him.

"I am seeing red at the moment sweetheart and I am furious as hell but I want to trust you too. But please forgive me if I will beat that asshole if I see him doing anything unacceptable okay?” he asked against the top of her head.

Heather had to give it to him for not asking her to leave her job. "Thank you sweetheart." she said huskily.

She let him to hold her like that. She knew he was trying to calm himself. He was breathing heavily.

After a while he said throatily, "I need a reward for staying cool sweetheart. I will claim it once I am able."

"Okay." She agreed in a small voice.

He held her tighter. He should really make her pregnant so they could get married already. He didn’t trust men around her especially her boss.

Elaine and Hector arrived. Kristel's friend eyed Heather with dislike almost the whole time. Elaine had the chance to say some nasty words to her when she went to the small kitchen while the two men were busy talking to each other. Hector’s wife walked towards her. She asked for a bottle of water.

"Kristel told me that she and Blake shared wonderful sex before so beware. Blake is the type of guy who can’t be with just one woman for a long time. He gets tired easily. He might want to have a taste of Kristel again now that she's in town." she whispered while a fake smile is on her lips.

It took all her willpower not to retort. Hector was so nice to her. She knew that since his wife and Kristel were best of friends, they were like two peas in a pod. Both were bitches and whores. She decided to ignore her after that.

Heather suggested that Blake should stay in her unit after he was discharged from the hospital. When Kristel heard about it, she made an excuse not to bring Kurt anymore to see Blake which was really fine with them of course.

For several days while Blake was recuperating, they were like a married couple already. She prepared his breakfast and lunch before she went to work. Jay was cold to her the whole week. She was thankful that they didn’t have any photo shoot yet after the last one. But what Jay said next surprised her.

"Paul the photographer called to say that the place for the swimwear photoshoot is ready. We’ll go to a clubhouse of one of the exclusive subdivisions nearby. Mr. and Mrs. Li wants to see some of the photos within the week so by tomorrow or next day we will do it." he said in a cold voice before walking out.

She just got back to her unit. She told Blake that she had some works she needed to finish so she brought them home but the truth was she wanted to surprise him. Since they lived under one roof for a several days, she felt she was more in love with him. She wanted to be with him all the time if it was possible. Though sometimes she felt scared that like what Elaine said, he might get tired of her. But each time, she just remembered Stacey’s advice. She should have trust in their love.

"Are you sure you can't come sweetheart? I will perform tonight and I want you to watch me." Blake said over the phone.

" I can’t tonight sweetheart. I need to finish my designs and tomorrow morning I have to make a presentation." she lied while she was busy selecting what to wear. She would have a shower first. And she was naughtily planned not to wear any underwear. They could always have a quickie in his office. She smiled since she knew Blake would love that. She heard him sighed.

" Okay. I will come home early. I love you sweetheart. Get ready for me later." he said in a throaty voice.

"I am always ready sweetheart." she said huskily which made him groan.

After an hour she arrived at the bar. Phil, one of the waiters looked really surprised when he saw her.

"Hi Phil. Where’s Blake?" she asked.

He looked uncomfortable. He was bringing a tray of food. "H-He’s at his office Miss Heather." Phil replied avoiding her eyes.

"Thanks." She said as she walked to Blake’s office.

Her eyes widened when she opened the door. Kristel was against the wall and Blake had her arms pinned above her head with his hands. He was kissing her savagely and the other woman was moaning.
