HYBRID HOOK 01
Hook opened his eyes and groaned in pain, his head throbbing where it lay in the weeds. He felt the smell of his own blood running down his forehead and little by little he remembered what had happened. His wrist also ached from having forced the shackles that bound him to break.
In addition to his own, he also smelled the blood of the four men who had trapped him. The image of him having an operation and then suddenly four tranquilizer darts hitting him in the back before blacking out were clear enough for him to roar with rage.
There was a traitor in the middle of the human task force and even if it was his last mission on earth, he would find out who he was and end the damn life.
The male staggered to his feet and the stench of gasoline filled his nostrils, he looked forward to find the bodies of the fallen men, all with their throats broken. They even tried to make him black out, but they only hit him once before he managed to reach all four.
His years of torture in the Medicinne had made him more resistant to drugs and he didn't immediately pass out with just a shot or two.
His ear picked up the sound of gas leaking from the car, and he knew then that he had to run before it exploded and the fire could reach him. The car hadn't flipped very far from the road after it grabbed the driver's throat.
His ears could also hear the sound of an approaching car engine. A plan formed in his mind, he was going to take the car or kill the human who was driving it if he didn't agree to give the car to him willingly.
Abigail drove like there was no tomorrow. He was lucky that the road was deserted and there was no risk of hitting any other cars. Her heart was pounding, pure adrenaline coursing through her veins until she realized she had already been driving like this for just over half an hour.
Gradually he slowed down to pay more attention to some shortcut. She needed to find a hiding place and abandon the car that was sure to have a tracker.
Her body jumped on the seat and a scream escaped her throat as a huge body was thrown against the windshield of the car. The hard braking sent her body slamming into the steering wheel sending a wave of pain straight through her ribs.
It took a few seconds for her head to start working again and it dawned on her that someone had thrown herself in front of the car, it wasn't Markus or Adam though. Shivering, she got out of the vehicle and walked hesitantly over to the large body.
Her jaw dropped in surprise and shock the moment she registered the features of the large man sprawled there. You couldn't see much with his long hair covering part of his face, but that body, that size she would recognize anywhere as she was a huge admirer of the Hybrids .
Slowly he lifted his hand to bring it to the man's neck and feel for a pulse, but his wrist was gripped hard on the way by the hybrid male . He held tight enough to hurt, opened his eyes and looked at Abbie with deep blue cat eyes.
“You're hurting me. The poor girl moaned in pain.
- Do not touch me. Abbie shuddered at the sound of the animalistic voice.
Hook released her and climbed off the hood to his feet.
- Sorry. he murmured, stroking his red, aching wrist. "But you nearly broke my wrist." I didn't need that, I just wanted to see if I was breathing.
She was a small female, Hook recognized he might even have broken her bone. Guilt coursed through him. He didn't hurt females even though this one was human, and the fact that she was tiny compared to him made him feel cowardly, a feeling he detested.
- Let me see. His rough tone made her flinch a little as he took her arm.
He examined the spot and the sensitive skin was red, the imprint of his fingers clearly visible. He ran his thumb over it, Abbie groaned, it really hurt.
- You'll be fine. His voice wasn't so gruff now.
He brought his face close to her wrist and licked over the bruise, surprise hit Abbie at the feel of the rough texture on her skin and she instinctively pulled her arm away.
- What is it? She had a shocked expression on her face.
“My feline DNA allows my saliva to have painkiller-like properties. Hook tugged at her arm and licked again without waiting for approval.
She nearly gasped as a jolt of pleasure suddenly coursed through her body, her cheeks heating as something inside her panties pulsed at the feel of that tongue licking her skin.
It was the first time I felt this sensation. She pressed her lips together, trying not to moan. She was shocked that she felt hot while the Hybrid was doing this, he was a complete stranger.
He tried to refocus his attention on the details of that amazing, strangely attractive face. Her cheekbones were high, her nose flatter than usual, and her lips a full set.
He was much taller than his five foot six and his wavy black hair fell over his shoulders, it was just sexy, wild, along with everything about him. His skin was a tan tone that contrasted with the black T-shirt he wore stretched across his broad chest, and thick, muscular arms showed through the cloth.
- Ready. - he said.
She moved her wrist and it really didn't hurt like it had seconds ago, she was fascinated that he could have this.
- Really works. I won't thank you because you were the one who hurt me, but this is very interesting.
He ignored her.
— Now I need your car, give me the keys. His voice was hoarse.
“I'm running from someone, I need him. Are you running away too?
"Just give it to me!" he growled, the authoritative tone making her flinch again.
“Okay, I'll give it to you, but you have to take me with you.
She adored the Hybrids and admired them for their strength and life history, humans owed them an eternal debt for all harm caused and anything she could do to help one, she would do without a second thought.
Hook would not leave her alone on a deserted road even if it meant traveling with a human being, he hated them but his nature would not allow him to do that.
- Accordingly. We will.
Hurriedly they got into the car, Hook got into the driver's seat while Abbie climbed into the passenger seat. The hybrid paused for a second, looking around inside the vehicle.
"Do you have a rope or a cloth?" - he asked.
— I have a scarf in my bag. he innocently replied.
- Give me. Abbie nodded, happy to be able to help.
She fished her scarf out of her purse and handed it to him. Her eyes widened in surprise as he held her wrists together and tied them. His touch was gentle despite his callused hands.
- Which? Why did it? Let me go! He tried to free himself.
“I don't trust humans, you could have a hidden weapon and try to attack me while I'm driving.
- Are you kidding? How many times are you stronger than me? Ten?
“There will be no discussion of that. he decreed and started the car at high speed.
- I don't believe. I'm helping you! Hot tears threatened to fall from her eyes but she refused to cry.
“Be quiet now. he ordered.
- Motherfucker. Abbie cursed.
She was furious with the Hybrid , she wanted to punch the idiot but she was restrained and her wrist still hurt a little. She sank down onto the ball-shaped bench and a choked sob escaped her lips, finally letting the hot tears roll down her cheeks. The weight of it all coming down on your shoulders.
Hook heard Abbie's sob and looked to the side to find the female cowering, so vulnerable. Guilt surfaced all of a sudden, forgetting that she said she was also running from someone and it didn't look good at all. But he couldn't trust any human being ever again, even the weakest looking ones. In my own experience.
