HYBRID HOOK 18
Hook sat across from Jack Nobel , leader of the OH (Hybrid Organization ) and Runner , with a frown on his face.
“I want to interrogate them. - said.
“You can lose your temper, you're thirsty for revenge and we know you don't like humans and don't mind hurting them.
“Do you mind? he snarled. "They hurt our people, traitors deserve death."
“We don't mind but we need to get them to talk before we send them to hell. It's possible you'll kill him before he releases all the information we need. Jack said .
- I will not do it. I am a male who has self control. I just want to sniff and look at the pupils to know who is lying. I promise.
Runner looked at Jack .
"He has his reasons, he almost got caught again." Runner said .
“Let's not make a big deal out of it then. Let's gather everyone who was involved and having knowledge of the operation, you will question each one.
Hook sighed, satisfied.
- Thanks. And how it was? After they caught me? Did you complete the rescue?
“There was no ransom. We are also investigating this, who gave us the information was an anonymous person and even so we went to check, there was nothing. Jack hissed .
“Motherfuckers. Hook swore.
“We're leaving tomorrow morning. I'll bring together the best at discerning character, we have great males for that. We prefer to leave the humans out of this, only Brenner Smith and Travis Bummer will be with us as we know they are extremely reliable.
- OK. See you tomorrow.
Hook said goodbye to Jack and Runner and left his office. He walked through the streets without paying much attention to the things around him when he found Blade driving a jeep.
“Hook! — the friend called him and stopped the car next to him.
"I thought your shift was at night." The male looked at his friend.
- I'm not working. I'm coming from the gates, just walked Abbie out.
A bad feeling immediately hit him, he had never felt this before and he couldn't name what it was, but it was awful. Without thinking about anything he approached his friend and sniffed him, grunting in response.
— I didn't touch her, I just helped her into the car because she's small. he explained.
Hook closed his eyes at the faint scent of her on Blade, could even smell that she was sad. He continued sniffing, sniffing the seat she sat on and almost making a ragged sound.
"They'll think he's gone mad." Stop. If I wanted to smell her, I wouldn't have let her go. Hook bared his fangs at his friend.
- Shut up. You do not understand.
"It's no use growling at me." She was sad, you idiot. How could you be able to make a female sad?
- I did nothing. I didn't hurt her.
— Surely she must have been smiling and happy to have you claiming every second that she can't be trusted because she's human and that you hate humans. Blade said sarcastically.
“This isn't news to anyone. I didn't hurt her. Not intentionally. He remembered when they shared sex for the first time and she bled.
“You shouldn't have shared sex with her since you hate what she is.
“It was casual sex, like you said. Don't you do this all the time? I don't bother your fucking bag.
— The females I share sex agree with, I've never been emotionally attracted to them, only physically and they to me.
"And how do you know my situation with Abbie is different?" She also agreed.
- She fell in love! You should have realized that before you went to bed with her again. You sent the female away with a broken heart, poor thing, if I could I'd get her for myself.
Anger flared through Hook, he grabbed Blade by his shirt collar and snarled at him.
- No.
- No what? Do you think she's only going to have you as a male in life?
- I do not want to know. In my mind I was the only one. Outside I won't know what happens to her and here yes, seeing and knowing is one thing.
“Stupid male. Blade pushed Hook to release him.
"Are you interested in her?" Why this revolt? Hook snarled.
“I hate females crying and being sad.
“I'm broken, Blade. I can't trust human beings. I am tormented by my past in Medicinne , by what I did. I couldn't control my attraction to Abbie but keeping my distance is best now, I don't want to break her like they did to me. It's not my fault she got attached to me, she agreed to my terms, I never deceived her, I was always sincere even before we got together for the first time. Knowing she's sad makes me feel bad, but I have other priorities right now.
Blade felt compassion for his friend and placed a hand on his shoulder in comfort.
- I get it. And she understands too, she told me. She doesn't blame you. She is amazing. Blade spoke and Hook snarled at him.
“I know she is.
- Let's go home.
Blade gave Hook a lift, and together they entered the apartment they shared.
"I'm going to order some food." - the canine male said taking his phone, then went to the bathroom to shower.
Hook walked into the bedroom, took off his shoes and clothes and went into the bathroom, underwater he leaned against the wall and sighed loudly.
He hated feeling like he'd done something wrong, that he'd really hurt Abbie, but she'd agreed, she'd never asked for anything more and even if she did, she couldn't give, it wasn't his fault. But she consumed him.
A bad feeling inside him lingered and he knew it was the thought that he would never see her again, soon he managed to identify the feeling he couldn't name earlier. It was the void. There would be an emptiness inside.
