Chapter 47 - The Hidden Feelings
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POV
The cold breeze that brushed onto my skin made me come to realizations about what I did. I was literally above Beta Kristoffer, and there was no other explanation for our position than the fact that I had the intention to flirt and seduce him. Although it seems to me like he also wanted to do the same since he wasn't moving away from me and wasn't showing any sign of resistance.
"Your mate is my brother, Celeste. Stop fooling around with me; I can't risk having Siege mad at me. It might be the reason why he would want to initiate a war between us," Beta Kristoffer said without stuttering. It's admirable how he could remain calm in this kind of situation where there's a high possibility that the alpha would soon come barging in his room.
However, my expectations were ruined the moment that a woman came into the beta's room instead of the alpha. "W-what are you doing to the beta, Celestina?" Amelia hastily walked near the bed, holding on to my right forearm to pull me away from my spot. "Get off of him; the alpha is about to arrive!" Judging by the tone of her voice, she was desperately in a hurry, afraid that the alpha would be going on a rampage because of me.
I smirked at the amusement of what his reaction would be. "That's better, Amelia. I can't wait to see how Alpha Siege would deal with his brother and me having an affair when he's supposed to be the one in Beta Kristoffer's position," I said.
It was only then that Amelia realized that it wasn't the Celestina that she used to know whom she tried to disobey. "I-I'm sorry, Miss Celeste... I was just in a state of panic, knowing that the alpha would soon come here," she explained herself, genuinely showing how apologetic she was. "It wouldn't do us anything good if you would be this bold with the beta instead of the alpha. Everyone here knows that you declared the alpha as your mate and that you were rejected. So..." She kept gazing back and forth from me and outside the beta's room.
I faked a smile. "I don't care about other people's opinions, Amelia. Let them think how they like and let them speak what's on their minds," I said, heading back to the beta's spot.
Beta Kristoffer seemed to dislike having me around now that we had Amelia with us, which made me think that he got shy all of a sudden. "Celeste, I would really appreciate it if you could let Celestina go," he murmured.
I rolled my eyes in frustration that he even wanted Celestina to return. "I hate how all of you don't celebrate how I managed to get here. You're still searching for Celestina, even though I'm the one in front of you," I replied in an annoyed pitch.
And just before we could've even continued arguing, the door slammed through the wall as it was pushed hard by the alpha, who was sweating as he arrived inside the room. "Celeste, get out of there if you don't want to be permanently banished from my pack," he coldly threatened me.
"I know that you can't kick me out here permanently... I'm your only hope to rebuild the strength of the Crimson Moon Pack after all." I chose to ignore his warning as I returned to seducing his brother. "Beta Kristoffer is much better than you thought. He's more charming and powerful, and I believe that he knows better when it comes to handling the pack and business matters..."
I sat on both of Beta Kristoffer's legs, crossing mine, letting one of my feet reach the floor, purposely teasing the alpha. I can't help but notice the way that the veins on his right forehead twitched when they popped out.
"I would like to hear you say the same thing when you see us go head-to-head; there is completely no mercy," Alpha Siege uttered, gritting his teeth with his clenched jaws. "You're just saying those things to provoke me—that you're going to replace me with Kris... Because you know that the entire pack would crumble if you became the Luna and the mate of a Beta, especially my brother," he added.
I snapped my fingers with a grin. "You're precisely correct!" I used my left hand to roam it on the beta's chest. "If watching me do this to your brother or any other man doesn't affect or hurt you at all, then that simply means that we're really not fated for one another."
Beta Kristoffer no longer prevented me from doing as I pleased. Maybe the beta also wanted to know how his brother would react in this type of situation.
Alpha Siege bowed his head as he marched to the same bed where the two of us were. He stretched his right arm to get my hand away from the beta's chest. He tightly held it, making me confused about whether it was out of anger or misery.
"This would be the last time that I would forgive you, Celeste. If I see you flirting with my brother again, I won't let it slide; I'll kill Kristoffer Wong myself," Alpha Siege said without any hesitation.
There wasn't any expression in his eyes. His eyes were literally dead, and he didn't even bother to glance up at us when he said those words. It was as if he was fully determined to take the life of anyone who would dare to steal me away from him, even though I was the one attempting to get away from him and not the other way around.
"You can scare Beta Kristoffer, but not me, Alpha Siege. I know you more than you know yourself," I lied, showing off a small smirk.
I had to aggressively pull my hand away from his grip just for him to let go of me, since if I hadn't, my hands would've probably been injured at this point.
"I'll return Celestina in one condition..." I rose up from the bed, heaving out a loud breath. "You should only keep your eyes on me and not any other woman. Just as much as you want me to stick with you, you should also know your limits, Alpha Siege," I declared my condition.
