I honestly can't quite say how the situation came about now, but I was in the twins' house. And to make matters worse, the two were here too.
But at least they kept some distance from me after a word of authority from Lily. But that hadn't stopped her from dishing out a lot of food.
They didn't seem to mind that I wasn't going to take a bite of it, other than pointing it all in front of me at least once and explaining what it was supposed to be. They didn't eat any of it either, which I found strange.
"How do we actually do it now afterwards with the sleeping situation?", One twin asked
, "Why should we change anything about it. We could just keep doing it as before.", replied the other, The other
just pulled the raised his eyebrows and glanced at me.
"I don't think it will continue to work as before."
The other man also looked at me skeptically for a moment.
But I now seriously asked myself what the previous solution was. And with the looks that the twins just exchanged ", I had bad suspicions.
I almost really asked, but I bit it back. I think maybe I didn't even want to know.
"Well, I'm guaranteed not to be able to stay away from her. The wolf in me would go crazy." "
Mine, too, Jared. Another room would definitely not work."
They wanted to sleep in a room with me?
Are they stupid?
I would definitely not allow that. I didn't even want to imagine what could happen.
"Her facial expression says something completely different.", the other twin remarked.
"So you want to sleep somewhere else voluntarily?"
,,Are you crazy?! Definitely not." "
Well, the three of us in one room."
I shook my head no.
The twins sighed.
"We want to give you the freedom you want. But you are our mate. We need your closeness. And especially at night the wolf in us would not leave us alone until we were near you."
But the two of them are spinning the world together just right. How stupid did they actually think I was?
The idiots should kindly have their own madness under control and don't drag me in.
Quite apart from the fact that I didn't believe them either. That sounded a bit too far-fetched and seemed to fit them a bit too well.
I got up annoyed. If the two thought they wanted to sleep in the same room, they should, but not with me in there as well. I would rather sleep outside without protection from wind and rain.
"Where are you going?" one of them asked me. But I didn't even think about answering them and made my way to the door. The
other twin blocked my way and grabbed my arm.
"You can't just go and leave us here."
Really getting annoyed, I rolled my eyes and tried to free myself from the grip.
After all, I was a free person and if that didn't suit you, they should look for another 'companion' who suited them more and danced to their tune, but certainly not with me.
A second pair of hands reached out and grabbed my shoulders.
,,Please. We know this isn't easy for you. But we are also living beings. Have feelings and you are our biggest focus in life right now and in the future. There is nothing and nobody that could hurt us more than you. Please give us a chance, don't take away all hopes of a happy ending. You could have a beautiful life by our side."
These monsters were more than sneaky. While I was genuinely irritated by the words of one werewolf, the other had taken advantage of it and put a needle in my arm.
No idea what that stuff was, but it knocked me out in a few seconds.
I woke up again in this bed. To make matters worse between these two jerks. They really had the audacity not only to make themselves comfortable in the same room, but to make matters worse in the same bed.
If I didn't know that they would wake up and probably knock me out again, I would have screamed so loud that at best the two of them would have ruptured their eardrums. Inwardly I vowed to avenge myself for this action. I certainly wouldn't let them get away with just quieting me.
Unfortunately, I was in an absolutely awkward position. My father would probably have a heart attack if he were still alive if he knew about my current situation.
Literally wedged between two bloodthirsty monsters.
You could probably describe my situation quite well with how a stuffed animal feels when two small children are cuddling at the same time and each one wants as much of it as possible.
Both of them had grabbed one of my arms and I was lying on my back, tied up, on the bed.
Carefully and slowly I tried to free myself from the whole thing. As deftly as possible, I twisted my arms out of the grip of the two, one after the other.
After a few minutes it worked.
I even managed to get out of bed almost at a snail's pace without waking up the two twins.
I exhaled in relief.
But now the question arose as to what I should do now.
The room was dark except for the light of the moon.
So you could forget about escaping. Since the werewolves were far superior to me. Even more thoughtful than before.
My stomach growling softly in front of me took my decision somewhat from me.
In any case, I had to get out of this room before the two of them were awakened by any noise.
I opened the door as quietly as possible and slipped out.
I honestly didn't know exactly how good werewolves' ears were. So I sneaked further down the stairs.
When I arrived at the bottom I decided to take the chance to maybe find something useful so that I knew where I could find certain things in case of an emergency.
Here, too, the moon shone brightly in the windows.
I looked out with interest.
Despite all the trees around the house, I was able to look up at the sky almost undisturbed.
It was surprisingly clear for it rained that day.
The moon, which seemed to be waning at the moment, was clear in the sky. Surrounded by an infinite number of stars.
"Hey."
Startled, I turned around.
One of the twins was standing behind me.
I frantically looked for the second twin.
"Hey, it's all good. You can be anywhere here. It's your new home, even if you don't see it that way right now."
I snorted.
And what was that guy dreaming about at night?
This was no more my home than any other place I've ever spent time
. Come on, let's go back to sleep before Jared wakes up too. The wolf in him has been excited enough today. If he wakes up now and you're not there, he might go crazy."
I looked at him annoyed.
Why was it always my problem when some werewolf had one.
The other twin looked tensely in the direction of the stairs.
"Come on. It's a lot less stressful for everyone involved."
