Good morning

I opened my eyes to a sweet smell. I smiled my eyes closed. I wondered why she was not coming inside. It felt strange for her to stay there without coming in. I wanted her in my bed smelling of me. When I open my eyes I wanted to see her face first thing in the morning. If it makes me a sap so does it. I don't care about anything, anymore. I'm done trying to hide my feelings. The rest of the world be damned.

"Come here", I called out to her.

" How did you know I'm here?", she questioned.

"Did you hear me?", she asked me again.

" I can smell you. It's just too overpowering I woke up", I told her.

"I'm sorry", she told.

"Come here and talk to me", I said to her. She walked towards me and sat on my bed.

"She wants me to go with her and stay in her place for a couple of days She thinks I have Stockholm syndrome ", she told me with a forced laugh.

"I doubt it. We are mates. Our attraction can't be explained or understood by her. She is a human", I told her my body tensing up.

"I said no. Even if I have that. I don't care at all. I would rather have you and called insane than be sane without you", she told me. I touched her lightly on her lips they looked cold.

"I'm lucky to have you. You have forgiven me for hurting you. I have never made any amendment to you at all", I told her guiltily.

"This is enough. You are enough ", she told me holding my hands in hers.

"I would rather die than live without you ", I told her without missing a beat. She sighed and leaned in for a kiss. I pressed my lips to the top of her head.

"It's late in the morning. We should go", I told her. She looked disappointed that I had stopped our kiss.

"But we will complete this conversation later. Right now we have a guest to see off", I told her. She looked pleased. I hoped she understood how much I want her. I wasn't rejecting her. I only want our time to be special without anything hanging over our heads. That seems unlikely but right now I want her friend gone. She was filling my mate's head with bad ideas such as leaving me. I would die before I let that happen.

"I think we should go then. She will leave within an hour", she told me.

"Alright let's go then", I told her removing the blanket above me. I has forgotten I was naked beneath it. She looked at me her eyes dark with desire. I wanted to show her how much I wanted her friend to be damned. We heard a knock on the door. I wanted to kill the guard who stood there.

"What is it?", I barked at him. He looked at me alarmed.

"The human wants to leave. She wished to see Luna before she leaves", said the guard.

"We will be there", I said lowering my voice.

"I will wait outside ", she said with a light smile.

"That would be for the best", I told her with a wink. She walked outside and I walked towards the cupboard to find something to wear. I put it on and walked outside.

When we reached she was dressed and ready to go. I gave her a handshake. The friction was there between us. No carefree conversations were flowing between us like last time. I thought she accepted our relationship but I was wrong.

"You two must come and visit us", she told me.

"I hardly think that's possible since there is hardly any time for us to have a vacation ", I told her. She gave me a look that said I was being impolite but I shrugged at her.

"We would come one day Lis", she assured her friend. Well, this would be the last time they will meet if I had any control over the situation.

"Bye take care. Call me. If you need anything", she said. She was taking too much time for goodbyes. I called a guard and asked him to call the car. I looked to see them hugging and both of them were tearing up. I tensed seeing my mate sad. I hated to see her like that. Why did she have to come? I wished she left already. I'm done with her visit.

She slowly went inside the car. I saw Tony come out of nowhere. Well, that was interesting.

"I will take her home", he said. I understood that he was asking me permission. Frankly, I didn't care what he does with her now.

"You don't know how to drive", I teased him. His face got flushed. I didn't know he blushed weird.

"I meant to see her home safely. I wanted to say that the guard who is driving is enough. But I didn't care if she goes to her place and fucked her who am I to stop it? She deserved to get her heartbroken for what she said to my mate.

They both drew away. My mate waved to them. I stood there seeing them move out of the reservation with lightning speed.

"They look pretty cute together ", said my mate.

"No, they don't. He might try to fuck her", I told my mate.

"Aidan", she admonished me.

"What? He is a player", I told her.

"Is it? Like you", she wondered.

"Sweetheart I'm no player. I'm the coach ", I told her with a smile. I was hoping to get an answering smile she huffed and turned her back to me.

"What happened? ", I asked her. I didn't expect to get this kind of reaction from her. She was never a jealous type maybe she was I had no idea of her behaviour in this lifetime.

"Are you playing with me?", she asked me.

"Are you asking me that question? We are married you are my mate. You think I'm playing you", I asked her.

She laughed out all of a sudden surprising me. I watched her my mouth hanging open.

"Well, you weren't playing me. But I was playing you", she said running.

"Well get back here", I called and ran after her catching her easily. I placed a kiss on her lips which she deepened. I prayed she didn't play me not this time.
