Chapter 33 Twin
<Mia>
Ethan is still being kind. He's trying to keep his composure, but I can feel that he's holding back. I know him well. He's taking deep breaths, trying to calm himself down.
"She shouted at Fairy, she picked a fight with our guest. The fairy didn't do anything wrong, but she threatened her. What kind of wife is that, Ethan? Picking fights with guests," Grandpa said, disappointed.
Grandpa's disappointment with me was evident in his voice too.
Ethan faced me, "Wife, is that true?" He asked gently while wiping my tears.
I nodded in response, "She's just being fake." I complained to him, still crying.
Ethan let out a deep sigh, "Hush... it's okay... I'm here." He comforted me, repeatedly kissing my forehead.
"Say sorry to Doctor Fairy," Grandpa ordered.
I don't want to! She's trying to steal him away, and she looks flirtatious!
"Mia! Apologize to her!" Grandpa shouted at me, and it seemed like Ethan didn't like it, so he faced his grandfather, looking angry.
"Don't shout at my wife!" He shouted at his grandpa.
Grandpa seemed taken aback when Ethan shouted at him, clutching his chest in shock.
"I told everyone to look after my wife! I was only gone for a moment, and you're already shouting at her! I don't even allow a single ant to touch her, and you dare to yell at her! Maybe if I hadn't arrived on time, you would have done something to her!" Ethan angrily retorted.
"What?! You're shouting at me because of that woman?!" Grandpa responded, equally angry.
"Ethan..." I tried to calm him down, holding onto his arm to restrain him.
"What the! She's the one at fault, and you're taking her side! I didn't raise you to be like this, Ethan!"
"But it's not right to shout at my wife!" Ethan fired back. "I don't care how you raised me."
"Lia, get the medicine." Grandpa ordered, as he held his chest in distress.
"Ethan, please calm down," I said, scared of the situation.
"Let's get out of here," he said, pulling me along. His fist was tightly clenched, and he was breathing heavily. The rage was still evident in his demeanor. His every breath seemed to be burning with anger.
"Ethan, please come back!" His grandpa shouted, but he didn't even acknowledge it. "I didn't raise you to be disrespectful, Ethan!" his grandpa continued to yell.
Ethan took big strides, dragging me along with him. He was tall, and I suppose that's why he had such long strides.
"Hubby... your grandpa might get angrier at you," I said nervously.
He let out a deep sigh.
"I-I'm sorry..." I muttered, ashamed and keeping my head down.
He had a heavy sigh.
"It's because of me that you ended up fighting with your grandpa," I said, unable to look at him as I played with my fingers.
"Wife, look at me," he said in a deep voice. He turned me to face him, and the fire in his eyes had vanished.
"What really happened when I was outside?" he asked softly.
"Well, it's that woman's fault. She's so fake!" My irritation from earlier returned.
"Why?"
He held my hand, and I stopped playing with my fingers.
"She's so shameless! She told me to my face that she has a crush on you! That's why she kept asking all sorts of things about you! And she even wanted to talk to you alone! Is she out of her mind?" I exclaimed, and Ethan smiled at my reaction.
"Why did you shout at her though?" He asked, still smiling. His neck turned red. Was he getting excited?
"How can I not get angry? She's irritating me! She provoked me! She even had the audacity to tell me that she likes you!" I grumbled.
His smile grew wider. "Why? Don't you want others to have a crush on me?" His lips curved playfully.
"Of course not! What sane wife would allow someone to have a crush on her husband? Who? Who? She's just crazy," I declared proudly. "Because she said she has a crush on you."
His grin widened even more. "So, you don't want others to take me away from you?" He licked his lower lip, trying to distract me.
"Of course, I-I don't..."
"Good. Don't let them take me away from you, okay?" He gently kissed my forehead.
"Don't be jealous of her because I belong to you and only you. I'm yours, and I won't let anyone else have me," he whispered huskily into my ear.
My whole body shivered, including the lower parts!
It seemed like his bedroom voice was in full effect. I pushed him away from what he was doing, but he looked genuinely happy today.
Jealous? No way! I was just fighting for my rights as a legal wife. I won't let anyone take advantage of me. If they try to trick me, I'll bite back! I'll save my revenge for another day.
Yes, that was it.
"Let's go home now. I want us to cuddle. I miss you," he said. We hadn't been apart for an hour, and he already missed me.
He's addicted to cuddling.

<Thir Person>
"Uncle William died," Nathan informed his twin.
"Do you have anything to do with his death?" Nathan squinted at his twin, who was busy reading something on his iPad.
Ethan glanced at his twin with a frown. "Are you suspecting me? I'm not the Lord, so don't ask me," he retorted and stood up to check the big screens in front of him.
"Are you sure, Ethan?" Nathan double-checked and looked at the TV screen as well.
Ethan glanced at his twin and gave him a menacing look. "Do I look like a killer?" he asked in annoyance.
"Yes!" Nathan quickly answered.
"Admit it, it's like we're not really twins. I'm the only one who knows," Nathan insisted.
"I already avenged my wife on him, and I don't have time to kill him yet."
"Ha, I knew it! So you do have plans. Just admit it," Nathan persisted.
Annoyed, Ethan turned to his twin. "Why are you here, huh? You're irritating the hell out of me. Get out! You're disturbing me!"
"Why are you killing Uncle William? He still serves a purpose even though he's old," Nathan said, sitting on the sofa where his twin was sitting earlier.
He took the iPad and looked at what his twin had been studying earlier: graphs, chemicals, and animal life lines.
"Are you experimenting on animals, Ethan? Have some pity on them."
"But what about Uncle William? You'll be dead to Grandpa if he finds out you harmed him." Nathan warned him.
"Anyway, he probably deserves to die," he quickly backtracked on his previous words.
"He should rest so he won't commit any more sins in the world, and maybe he'll be with Satan," he added while scrolling on his twin brother's iPad.
"Ethan, don't you want to replace your iPad? It's been so long, only seven years left for your iPad. Upgrade it already."
"If you want to give me an iPad, why not," Ethan retorted. He was irritated with how his twin was meddling with his belongings.
"You idiot! You have more money than I do!"
"Nope," Ethan answered while looking at the blood samples. He really wanted to become a scientist. "I have plans for my money," he added and sighed.
Nathan rolled his eyes when he remembered the reason behind his twin's frugality.
"Enjoy your money. Enjoy it while you're still alive. You might regret it if you don't enjoy it enough before you die."
"I won't die," Ethan replied tersely.
"You're right. With your attitude, you might not be accepted in heaven. Bad weeds take a long time to die. You're the living proof of that saying," his twin retorted, crossing his arms.
Ethan took his iPad back from his twin. He was checking something while standing in front of him. He was dressed in a coat with a plain black shirt inside.
His twin gave him a scowl for the comment he made, as he always got annoyed when Ethan teased him like that. He was in denial about his feelings for the young girl he adopted.
"I'll go. Tsk!" Nathan pouted. "I'll get a milk tea, do you want?" he asked.
His twin just shook his head and left him. Ethan entered a room.

"MA'AM, Sir Ethan is calling. He said he will talk to you."
I stopped eating Pringles when Rose came.
He is holding the cellphone in his left hand.
"Sir, I'll give it to ma'am, ah." He said goodbye. I made him suffer before I took it from him.
"H-hello." I stammered, I turned the TV down so I could hear him better. Because I'm deaf.
"Wife..." he called in a deep voice. He sounds exhausted.
I frowned.
"What are you doing?" he asked. I heard his footsteps.
"Eating and then watching," I answered him and lay comfortably on the sofa.
"What are you eating?" I heard that he pulled a swivel chair.
where is he?
"Those Pringles you bought me." My answer is short.
I looked at Rose who was here and standing near me. I raised an eyebrow at him.
“Are you listening to our conversation, huh!? Get out of here!".
she said nothing more and left.
"I miss you." He said and then he sighed.
"I thought you had a lot to do?" Because that's what he said and he can't come home early.
"I miss you." He said as if he was in a faraway place.
"I don't miss you." I joked with him.
"I know." He said weakly.
This man is sulking I know.
"Did you eat your lunch?" He changed the conversation.
"Not yet," I snorted, "the food Pina gives me, I guess she feels I'm greedy," I reported to him.
"You really are greedy."
“Grrr,” this man was about to bingo me, “I'm not greedy! I'm just hungry!” My excuse.
"Yeah, all the time. You eat one litre of ice cream.”
Eh, it's delicious because it's not that sweet. I don't know where it was bought because he said it was just given to him. I don't even know who gave it. Someone always gives him food.
"Wait, I delivered food, ah!" I informed him, "Because I craved takoyaki." I said and looked at the table.
“Drink lots of water.” He reminded again.
I imagine him wearing his lab coat and his favourite silver Rolex wristwatch. His shiny black top and his grey trousers. Then he leaned on the swivel chair while holding the cell phone to the other ear.
